That is not the one I was talking about, but it looks like the last one with the SLS is the same number of cars. Seems like there were more when I ran it but then again that was almost 4 years ago ;)

On a different note. I see a few posts were people are complaining about it not being tight and twisty. I for one would not want a tight twisty track that is this long. A long track needs to flow and allow some speed while trowing some stuff in there that will bite you along the way.

Looks like a fun track to me.
I especially like that right-hander with the jump ("Flugplatz," as I call it). You turn in thinking, "just another sweeping right," but then you car is six inches off the ground and you pee your pants for a second. Very unexpected!

I'm just watching through to see how many cars he passses but I noticed that the green mark under the mirror counts the number of consecutive overtakes, and gets reset after a collision. Sorry if already known.

I like the look of the track, just as long as it will become available in all modes eventually (it surely will). As well as a great place to cruise, it'll be a seriously fast track and proving ground for supercars/hypercars.

Again sorry if I missed this but do we know for sure this is a complete circuit, rather than point-to-point only?

Yeah it loops back to the same place on the dam at the north of the lake.

Edit: updated the layout to be a bit closer and marked the suspension bridges.

Well he does a complete lap in the video...

Don't updates "usually" start about now?
Normally at midnight server time, which is the same as EST (New York) time irl.

Hey did anybody else notice at the end of the video of the onboard lap, when he's on the credit screen and the crew is on track a car goes launching by inches from the crew doing well over 100 mph? Just saying I thought it was funny. :D

Well I do not see any maintenance notice posted yet, but the US GT website does say

If you quit the game during the installation process of a Gran Turismo 6 update (by pressing the PS button or any other way), the installation process may fail. Please make sure to allow the installation to complete before attempting to exit the game.

If the installation fails due to the above mentioned scenario, the data may be able to be restored by restarting the game or by deleting the partially installed Game Data files from the "Game Data Utility folder" in the PS3™ XMB. For details, please refer to the "Related Links" at the bottom of the page.

This issue could potentially affect any of the previous update files including "Update 1.11". After the installation of "Update 1.12" (planned to be released in September 2014), this issue will no longer occur.

So 1.12 is obviously confirmed, but why would they do this almost a month after 1.11 came out? I'm going to say it'll be released in Thursday/Friday depending on how time zones work.

It says PD posted that on September 4th so that was last week

It probably doesn't happen right at the stroke of midnight guess, the Red Bull Ring update was at 2:20 AM

It is most likely not going to drop today but I still have some minutes and hours left in me.

After all its only like not even two o'clock in Japan.

So. Usually, at my timezone with GT6 updates, Im like a kid on Christmas morning. I wake up 5am, go downstairs but with no update, Kaz still hasnt left presents under my tree. Makes me wonder. . . if we're not getting the update till they make a patch to punish the naughty kids hacking their save file for GT6..
