Even though we now know the pack.

Are they going to do what they did last month and announce it today then release it tomorrow?

I know, but I don't really play FH3 enough any more to justify paying for non-car pass DLC.

Fair enough, to each their own.

As for the clues, what is the car that suits the "Finally" clue? Is it the GT-R? Most of the other car are easy enough to tie in with the clues, but that one clue is confusing me a bit... The "crank it up" clue must belong to the Falcon, God knows why that is, but it's my bet.

The Camaro came by surprise because it wasn't from the leaks.

On a related note, not counting the Porsches, here are the remaining cars according to the leaks if they hold true, given that the aforementioned Camaro wasn't leaked:

  • AMC Gremlin X
  • AMC Pacer X
  • Audi RS4 Avant '01
  • Audi RS6 '03
  • Audi RS6 '09
  • Chevrolet Vega
  • Chrysler Charger E49
  • Dodge Dart '13
  • Ferrari F50 GT
  • Ford Three-Window Coupe '32
  • Holden FX Sedan
  • Jensen Interceptor
  • Lotus 3-Eleven
  • Mazda MX-5 '90 (the one with the open top)
  • Mazda MX-5 Super20
  • Mercedes SLR
  • Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
  • Nissan Juke NISMO
  • Pagani Zonda R
  • Plymouth GTX
  • Toyota T100 Baja Truck
  • Zenvo ST-1
That's twenty-two cars, enough for three whole packs plus one, not counting possible CU barns or Forzathon prizes, which is unlikely. Once again, the leaks may not be 100 percent accurate, but is a good reference point because it was a dev build.

Well, three of the leaked cars are coming via Forzathon this month, and an AMC Barn Find is slated to come with the next batch of Forzathon events, IIRC. Truth to be told, the only cars I see as likely to come to the game via DLC are the new asset cars (the Vega, Charger E49, Ford Coupe, Holden FX, Jensen Interceptor, Lotus 3-Eleven, Toyota T100 and Zenvo ST-1), and even amongst them there are some that could easily be added in as Forzathon prizes and/or CU Barn Finds (i.e. the Chevy Vega and Ford Coupe). Other cars could easily come as Forzathon prizes (the SLR, Zonda R and F50 GT), others (like the Eclipse GSX, Juke, the various MX-5s and Audis) are likely legacy/residual code and won't be coming to the game at all.

That leaves us with eight cars which are likely candidates for DLC inclusion. And we got one DLC left in the car pass, plus at least a couple which are likely to be released afterwards, so, let's say 21 additional cars coming to the game via car packs. I'd say it's way too early to get mad about the absence of this or this other vehicle, and that we shouldn't look too much at the dev build leaks.

As for the pack, that's another solid DLC. I'll probably be enjoying the Bimmer the most; although the Nismo is as tempting as ever...

Though wasn't the Toyota T100 confirmed to be Ivan 'Iron Man' Stewart's old Trophy Truck?

This one?

This probably means all the cars all the kids are screaming about (Chiron, 675LT) will probably show up starting next month.
That would be quite mean, but clever :sly:

March's pack is the sixth and final Car Pass pack. Time has flown!

Oh. I miscounted, then.

But that only makes one more pack we all have to pay for. I'd be very surprised indeed if they didn't keep it up with the monthly DLC until July - maybe they could even stretch it all the way to August, which is what they did with Horizon 2, IIRC.

I expect a year's worth of DLC, not least because I'm thinking FM7 might move away from the September release date the last few titles have used to better align with whenever Microsoft decides to push out the Scorpio (my guess: late October or first half of November).

FM6 had a year's worth of DLC, other than the gap in June.

I've been trying to think of a way for T10/Playground to offer a dual-title DLC plan moving forward. Imagine if we could get all the FH3 additions in FM6 too (or FM7's DLC in FH3)? I'm not sure how they could do it without either cannibalizing the newer side or over-charging for what is already a very expensive service, but it's something I imagine would be well-received if done right.

I wouldn't be so sure of that, for three reasons: 1) the Scorpio doesn't really need launch titles - it is essentially an Xbox with 4k HD and HDR, both things already available to PC players since the launch of Horizon 3 and the other titles of the first bach of "Xbox Play Anywhere" games; 2) the main rival to FM7 will be pCars 2, which is apparently slated to release in September - considering what's at stakes, I doubt T10 wants to come to the party one month later, when the "undecided" users will have for the most part settled on SMS's product; 3) delaying the release to late October / early November would force them to also push back the release of FH4 from a very favorable moment to a more crowded one, or to potentially cut two DLC from FM7's life.

Arguably, FH2 also had a "gap" of sorts with the Furious 7 DLC. 10 Car Packs seem to be the new "norm" - but of course, only time will tell. In the meanwhile, I'll make sure to save enough money for 4 DLC.

P.S: OH SNAP I COMPLETELY MISSED THE SERIES III LAND ROVER AND PO-PO-POWER BRICK VOLVO.

YouTube comments are hilarious again. In my opinion one of the better looking packs.

You'd expect those people to rave and PRAISE THE LAWD when they get the cars they want (both variations of the S14, the BMW M2 and i8, the Hondacura NSX), but... They don't even care. They'll spam endlessly the name of the car they "want", then forget all about it when they get it.

Good points I hadn't really thought about. While I'm sure MS will want some big guns to tout the Scorpio's power, I suppose they don't technically have to launch alongside it. I don't know if going up against PCARS2 in the same month is a good idea though...

Then again, we have no idea how FM7 will stack up. I'd like to think it'll close the gap in terms of missing features, but we'll see in a few months. Really looking forward to the end of summer in terms of racing games! The hardest thing for me is determining what to do with my existing XB1 — it was a gift from my better half, so I feel guilty wanting to unload it for a new model.

Yeah, I saw those. I assume these people all just chirp whatever supercar-du-jour shows up on Top Gear/Grand Tour each week repeatedly.

I'm glad T10/Playground have picked up the car encyclopedia approach Polyphony has dropped.

That has to be one of my favorite DLC trailers. The choice of music coupled with all the "action movie cuts" of the several cars really gets the hair on the back of your head standing, good lord...

Also, once again it has cute touches; the GT-Rs appearance, sliding between a Titan and an S13 Silvia... Clever girl, PG, clever girl. 👍

A little bonus:tup:

BONUS CAR – Forza Horizon 3 Duracell 2016 GTA Spano
In addition to the seven cars found in the Duracell Car Pack, starting today Forza Horizon 3 players have a chance to add an additional car to their garage -- the Duracell-themed 2016 GTA Spano. To get it, all you need to do is head to the Xbox Store and search for “Forza Horizon 3 GTA Spano.” Download the car at no additional cost and then restart Forza Horizon 3, and the car will be automatically added to your Forza Horizon 3 garage. Note that this car does not require players to own the Duracell Car Pack in order to redeem.

*yawn* at the haters.

I think this is a fantastic pack with some great variety.

So time to do something that is quite dangerous on this here internet, and that is express my opinion on each car :P

2017 Camaro ZL1 - I'll admit, this is probably the least exciting car in this pack for me, with that said I will still certainly give it a go.. Should be fun to drift around.

2015 Jaguar XE-S - I loves me some Jags, and will never complain when one makes it into the game, you can be guaranteed I will definitely be taking this bad boy out first chance given ;D

1959 BMW 507 - Whilst I think the more modern Beemers aren't that interesting looking, this is a very sweet edition indeed, Somewhat looks like a combination of an Alfa and a Cobra.. I look forward to driving this one :)

1992 Ford Falcon GT - Another Aussie motor, looks pretty cool.. It kinda reminds me of the Mk2 Sierra and Ford Granada here in the UK.. I'm glad to see all these Aussie Cars get to shine :)

1972 Land Rover Series III - Love it, love it, love it.. I loved it when the defender made it into the last horizon and I love that this is in the game.. May just be the first car I try out :)

1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 NISMO LM Road Going Version - This car is just awesome looking and reminds me of my Gran Turismo days.. 90's Japanese cars seem to have gotten quite a bit of lovin these car packs, and this is my favourite.. I cannot help but think of this theme looking at it ;D

1983 Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution - Once again, I likes me an awesome Volvo, the Swedish are quite underrated when it comes to car makers.. I never played Forza 4 so this will be my first time trying this beast out.

All in all this is a solid Car Pack and gets a big thumbs up from me :)

and an excellent way to end the season pass, Guess it's time to get the wallet out from here on in ¬.¬

If all the JDM cars added aren't pointing to Horizon 4 being set in Japan, then it's a big red herring...

It's probably the most neglected region for Forza so it may just be them finally showing it some love.

Granted, I would love a horizon game based in Japan.
