If not, let us know.

Rules:
GTP OLR Rules
  • Please familiarize yourself with these rules prior to the event.
  • You are expected to behave like sporting gentlemen at all times. Dirty driving is absolutely forbidden.
  • If you cause a contact, you must make contact concessions. ie: no bump-passing
  • Failure to make contact concessions will result in a post-race penalty concession. (ie: you will be placed below that racer in the results)
  • Caution must be exercised when re-entering the track after an off-road excursion caused by any reason.
  • Carless driving, recklessness, & aggressive risky maneuvers may result in post-race penalties, and will certainly result in your fellow racers being ill tempered.
  • Retaliation, "payback", & monkey-see-monkey-do rule flouting will not be tolerated.
  • The in-game penalty system is switched to off to prevent ghosting, with the understanding that GTPlanet racers do not need the in-game penalty system to follow posted track rules. Shorting the track is strictly prohibited.
  • In case of any incident involving a crash or rule violation, please review the replay before drawing conclusions. Note the time and location of the incident. Try dialogue with the other driver first with Private Messaging. You may report the incident via Private Messaging, with details, in a timely manner (ie: soon after the race), if warranted, so an appointed steward &/or the race director may review the incident.

Race will be hosted in the VCRC Lounge, add PSN: VCRC
Note: The VCRC account is just the club lounge account. It will rarely be signed on.
Get the FR in a.s.a.p. to assure acceptance in advance of racing.
In order to check the league lounge, you must click on the coffee cup,
and wait for the room content list to present.
No yellow people icon will show, even when the room is full.

Also please note that all club communication should be done through GTPlanet,
and not directed toward the PSN acct VCRC, as nobody checks messages there often, if at all.

Thanks for the heads up, I may enter this one as well as the Civic Abarth match. The track worries me though, Toscana tarmac seems a bit more slippery than most other tracks.

Definitely try this car on toscana. It's fun. And the car is fairly stable and not so fast, so it's definitely enjoyable, even on twisty Toscana tracks. :)
Italian Job is a track designed for lower power cars, and there is only one hinky turn. Most of it is very smooth (don't let the map fool you).

Okay I love the Panda and have been needing an excuse.

Put me down as a tentative. Might have to bail last minute. Colour TBD, but I'm kinda loving the weird blue that comes on a Fiat 500.

I never tried the Panda until the other day. But once I did, I tried it on several tracks to try & find the right one to race it on!
It sort of reminds me of the Autobianchi Abarth in handling. But it's definitely a bit faster. That's what gave me the idea to put it on Italian job. Because the Autobianchi Abarth was so fun on it when we raced it there. :)

Put me down for the Tuesday...if I particularly good fun I may just stay up late & do the Wednesday too.

As the panda is one of the most hideous cars ever devised ( was it really designed by Italians? Maybe a school project?) I shall be scouring my paintshop to find a colour scheme to reflect this!

Put me down for Tuesday please Melon:)

I will second that Jack, they are ugly but fun to drive, may be some brown paint:tup:

At Jack:

That would be Giorgetto Giugiaro, the man who came up with the Panda also stylized the Delorean, Lotus Espirit S1, Ferrari 250GT Bertone, Chevy Aveo, and the Hyundai Pony.

I have researched these Pandas, as if my research of K-Cars wasn't already a waste of my brain cells.

I suppose it just goes to show we can all have our off days!
