Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

well today i got my SLIM PS2 and i pre-ordered two of the Essential MGSs collections.
One will be there to open and play while the other will be there to stay in original packaging and sell later on ebay after many many years.
Me and my brother are looking at MGS toys and other misc stuff.. so far we have few toys from MGS1 and MGS2 series.. unopened..
think about it guys.. some toys go for 20-30 buks at high.. and back in the day it cost like 5-6 bucks.
I wanted to buy the MGS3 solid snake.. i think it was 12 inch figure but for the price i could get a PS2 slim lol..

i was being a lil sarcastic as usual, so i dont really care if you use cheats or not.. hehe

but even tho im only 21... i am from the one button era.. the atari. Since i lived in Poland, that was i think my first console game... right around when i was 5 years old. and then i got a fake Nintendo gaming console that could play sega... NES and other games.. it was fun

then at 12 moved to US, and bought myself a first Playstation.. i was amazed... MGS was my i think 3rd game.. game looked amazing... i still have it... but i haven't touch it since 4 years or more ! so i really cant wait to get my hands on that special edition pachakge with all the games!


so guys what game should i beat first? MGS1 or MGS3?

Don't go in numerical order, go in chronological order.

i have the PSP MGS, but somehow i just cant get into it... IDK y
and the MGS portable ops + is that multilayer only?

i know that going in chronological order will be a blast and most easy to comprehend the story. but i like movies like memento, that shows the story in really weird order... so i go from 1-3... and at the end ill finish up the first 2 original MGS games

Hell yeah! They're excellent, however I haven't finished Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.

BTW, I have a game save for Metal Gear, with the bandanna (infinite ammo, as you know), if you want it. You know where to find it.

Psycho Mantis. Cool thing about him I always liked was how he reads your memory card saves and comments how much you like certain games. Of course, you never realize he reads your memory card; you're just amazed how he knows you like certain games. I guess I shouldn't have spoiled that.

arrgh. looks like I have a scratch enough to stop me from finishing. when I get up to the "woods chase" routine, right after the cut scene where you see Volgin buy it.
i SO wanted to finish with the Tsuchinoko!

i finish the 1st one back in the day of PS1 era.. second one (not subsistence) i finish when i got my PS2... and then i waited for MGS3 subs... but never got to finish it..

i have my new PS2 slim, and my copy of MGS 1... but im not going to touch that game until the essentials collectors is going to arrive next month.. then ill start playing them from 1-3 in order.. then the old school MGS games
ill skip the PSP version since i just cant get into the game play of making your own army...

Is it like that on the normal MGS PO? or are you playing the plus version? My dad got plus and I find it pretty fun.
