I am a bit confused on the trailer. :odd:

Is Solid Snake's Fox Die thingy really starting to kick in on his body? :odd:

That shot thing he injected on his neck made me think about Fox Die.

Right now, I really think Solid Snake is going to die at the ending. Possibly would accomplish his goal and collapse to his death. Then Otacon would be by him to close his eyes.

I think that was Fox Die, it would be interesting if they killed Snake off. Might even get me a bit... emotional. I'm not sure it would adopt a back and forth between storys method, but two or three storys told in succession. I wonder if Raiden and Snake will be paired up though, I hope if they do kill Snake off they don't use Raiden as the next. What would be interesting is if it ended with Snake dead but the Patriots had already created a new clone. Remeber the series will not end, Kojima has said the first 3 were a trilogy and then he's planning another trilogy starting with 4.

I'm guessing my theory is getting closer.

Since this is "rumored" to be 10 years after MGS2...yet the art of Raiden is young w/ the infant...I'm thinking it will tkae place over a span of time, possibly longer than I thought. I don't think we'll play soley as snake in this time frame, it will jump around in story perhaps via flashback that we can controll...that would be cool! lol.

It's impossible to tell age from a single poster shot of somebody. Does Dr. Hunter look "40'ish" in her poster shot? No. lol

Raiden was 22 in The Shell, and now would be 32. He isn't that old to begin with. The baby could be the new clone of Big Boss, or one of many new G-Soldiers Dr. Hunter was working on when the gang finally reaches her. Raiden and the gang are most likely coming to the aid of Solid Snake who is suffering the effects of Foxdie. They either contact and/or meet up with Dr. Hunter, who created FD, to discover she had the remains of Big Boss, and was creating new soldiers, or a replacement for BB and/or her brother Gray Fox.

Attack of the show is about to show the same trailer in a few minutes, the replay comes on again at midnight central time. Seeing it on TV should be better than a grainy video and give an idea of the frame rate. Also the NR's goofy controller *sigh.

I just saw a bit of it on the show. Thanks for the heads up. I turned the channel to the show just in the nick of time, and after about 10 seconds of aimless female yammering, they showed a bit of the clip before cutting to a commnercial. It looked a lot better than the bad clip we have of it.

Sadly it wasnt the full trailer just parts of it. But it confirms the frame rate. There is no fsaa. but its also 1080i from the screen shots.

At 1080i, you don't necessarily need FSAA. You could, but you would have to lower the frame rate to 30. Gears of War is probably doing that. MGS2 proved that you don't need FSAA to make a game look good.

From what I just read, Xbox 360 cant do 1080i with fsaa, at least not in its eDram it cant.

G4 isnt that bad. I like it for the same reason we all like air, there is just no substitute. Sept 26 they will have a full TGS coverage show and they more than likely will show the MGS4 trailer.

G4 was better than Tech TV, Tech Tv hardly showed any video games. Only G4 show i miss is Pulse, In its last season it was a whole hour instead of the orginal 30min.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks G4 is better than what TechTV was. The only show from G4 I miss is Arena (I miss none from TechTV). I thought it had a great concept, too bad they had horrible producers. I still watch the reruns.

I saw the MGS4 trailer yesterday. just amazing 👍 , hope its a really deep story this time too! I've cleared all the previous MGS games, Im a huge fan of MGS and Hideo Kojima...

Anyway this seems to be the closest Holywood movie experience in a game ever

tis a shame over in the UK we dont have such a show on our terrestrial TV i think there is one on SKY, but sod sky. I want "Bits" back on TV or "Gamesmaster". High res footage of the trailer should be up after TGS.

This was covered already. its running 1080i no need for AA. The pics are scaled down so there is loss of detail but here is the full 1920x1080

Besides, since I'll probably still have my old 480i television, I'll be able to enjoy all the tweaks.

But one thing expect to pay about £45 to £52 for the game I reckon. Since the costs of next gen games will go up.

True the 480i/p modes will have fsaa and all the other edge enhancements.
