Guys I haven't been keeping up with this title and MGSV, have they announced the release date for any of them?

Kojima site's in shambles so here you go:

****NSFW But most MGS games also rated M for mature by the ESRB.****

Kiefer Sutherland's Snake voice is certainly an upgrade from David Hayter. I hope this comes out soon.

...was that Kaz in the Emerich torture scene?

That IS Kaz. Diamond Dogs beret and all!

Also, wasn't Drebin a child soldier around this time?

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on the Sony PlayStation®3, the Sony PlayStation®4, Xbox 360®, and the Xbox One®.

Ugh, PC's left out in the cold yet again. :(

Shame about it not coming to PC after rumours up to now suggested otherwise. Having both parts of the MGSV on both current and next-gen consoles was the sensible thing to do though.

Wasn't some GZ stuff in that trailer though?

Indeed there was.

It also looks like "Phantom Pain" is being used as the general term for both games rather than "MGSV" recently. I'm still expect them to be either bundled together rather than each part being a separate release, or maybe even have GZ available as a download shortly before Phantom Pain is out.

Eh, not massively surprising it's not coming to PC. Nicely surprising it's on both current and next-gen consoles, as I've said before many times they could keep re-releasing Metal Gear Solid games with the tiniest differences and I'd keep buying them. If it's out before March 2014 I'll be getting both PS3 and PS4 versions.

Best of both worlds; get it soon with a smaller initial outlay and get the better looking version later.

Edit: Wow, that trailer was... Grim.

Has metal gear ever been on PC( excluding the original one)?

Kojima has described Ground Zeroes as the prologue to The Phantom Pain.

Yeah, i rediscovered the tweet and it does look like it'll be one game with Ground Zeroes being the prologue.

Someone brought up an interesting theory: Is that girl that had the bomb pulled out of her Paz? I was thinking it was Strangelove but maybe it indeed it Paz.

Yah some MGS experts think it might be Paz, not confirmed though

That leaves Chico. Where did he go? I also feel that we'll see a glimpse of TX-55 Metal Gear at the end of this game!

Now if Kojima would only tweet that there will indeed be a PC version, I'd jump out of bed and run for miles.

You know, I was thinking; has there been a good PC port of any of the big Japanese publisher's console games? Like, ever? PC gaming isn't really a thing in Japan so I can't blame them, they're just not seeing the bigger picture I guess. PC gaming is pretty healthy elsewhere so there's a lot of money to be made... However if MGS V does arrive on PC and is a Dark Souls or RE5-quality port I'll probably just stick to the PS3/4 version.

I guess we'll see how good the MGR port is when it arrives and I imagine Konami will be keeping an eye on that too, if it's well received and sells I'm sure they'll consider porting MGS V as well. MGR came out a while ago, so there's nothing to say MGS V will never be released on PC, it just might take some time.

Devil May Cry 4 was a pretty good port, it was well optimised and had a full list of graphics options to tweak.
