Michael Schumacher badly hurt in ski accident

There is no evidence that this was anything more than a tragic accident. The Illuminati, Templars, Freemasons, Opus Dei, Elders of Zion, Majestic-12, Bilderberg Group, Phoebos Cartel, Propaganda Due, Skull and Bones and/or SPECTRE were not involved.

Honestly, the suggestion that Schumacher was somehow targeted for murder is one of the stupidest things I've read this year.
I hereby nominate this for post of the year.

Seriously though I hope he'll be alright.

This illuminati stuff is silly. Both Richard Hammond and Allan Simonsen were conscious immediately after their accidents, and unfortunately only one of them is alive today. It's something that happens.

Let's not derail this thread with fictitious nonsense, let's keep it on the topic of wishing Michael and his family well, and keeping up to date with his progress. 👍

In case if nobody knows already, Schumacher has been placed in a medically induced coma. And he has had surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain and to relieve pressure on his brain.

If you guys read the first page, people said it was going to be okay, but now he's in a coma. Well that escalated quickly.

Anyways I hope he'll be okay.

Medically induced coma as to help relieve pressure on the brain.
God bless, I hope he makes it and without severe handicap.

Surgery is quite normal. Schumacher was bleeding into his cranial cavity, which holds his brain and not much else. The blood flowing into the cavity was putting pressure onto his brain. Surgery is the only way to remedy the problem.

As for the blood clot, clotting agents are what allow our body to heal from cuts. Without them, we would just keep bleeding. The blood clot would have formed naturally as a part of the normal healing process, but because of its location, there was a danger that it would have come loose and lodged itself somewhere in Schumacher's brain, causing a stroke, and so it had to go.

And the coma effectively shuts down every bodily function except for the absolute necessities. There is less risk of further damage or complications because Schumacher will not be moving about.

It's a common way for symptoms to present themselves in cases like this. Schumacher was reportedly conscious, but confused and agitated when he was first attended to. He then rapidly deteriorated to a coma. This delayed onset is a classic way for these injuries to manifest themselves.

That is what I'm concerned about-if he can recover without irreversible brain damage :nervous:. Stay strong Michael, the Motorsport world is supporting you...

Hopefully @daan won't change his avatar from Allan Simonsen to Michael Schumacher either...

They have also lowered his body temperature to try and reduce swelling. If anybody could survive this in one piece He can. Incredibly fit and strong. But it doesn't yet sound less serious.

Put it this way: he's not better, but he's not worse - at a time when he cannot get better (that is going to take a while), but can get worse.

I wouldn't trust a word the Daily Mail says. They're known as the Daily Fail for a good reason. Yesterday they tried to convince the world that Lewis Hamilton was performing backing vocals on a pop song. Today, they're clearly more interested in the gory details of Schumacher's accident (of course there's going to be blood - head injuries bleed profusely) and throwing about unfounded speculation that his neck injury might have been afected.
Well I'm sorry that I posted an article from "The Daily Fail". I live in the states where our news is extremely biased "pro 'murican" garbage so I chose a British news source instead. From your comment the daily mail is the equivalent to our National Enquirer. What are good news sources there anyway? We certainly do not have any....

The Mirror's blog seems to be an accurate source of information too.

The worst sign we can get is complete silence from the offset, like Simonsen's accident, because that usually indicates something very bad has happened. So far, they've told us everything they've done to him, so that would in my eyes suggest they're confident that what they've done will work.

My thoughts are also with the family of Shumacher. His wife, children, father and brother. They must be literally in hell.

I sincerely hope, not only for his sake, that Shumachel will pull through without any residual effects of his accident. (Did I say it correctly)?
