My reaction if GTPlanet was to ever get directly referenced by PD for an addon being added based on user request...

Seem irrefutable now that PD is listening to the GT Planet community regarding most wanted tracks based on the reference to Mid-Field and Seattle in the post. Delighted to hear this news as a long time fan of the series since the release of GT1.
It looks promising but one track does not a trend make. Let's see how things roll out over the next 12-24 months before we make any conclusions shall we?

This is a surprise of Midfield Raceway making a reappearance again. Very good.
Not really. With the update to Autumn Ring and the re-release of Apricot Hill and the release of Sierra, it was a pretty safe bet that they'd re-release other tracks as time goes by. It's a win-win for them in other ways too. No licensing fees, no laser scanning, no real-life comparisons, no real life structures to match up, the nostalgia factor etc. Basically it's a cheap and easy way to churn out tracks quicker, with less resources and the diehards that are still playing the game want it. The surprising part is that they aren't churning these types of tracks out more often.

99% chance of the update happening then. Almost always when they do a maitenance that is not on a Monday it is also an update.

Here's hoping they fix the invisible cars and last car glitches
What's the last car glitch? I know about invisible cars.

Invisible cars has been an issue since the start of GT5, I don't think it's even on their minds tbh.

I actually hope it stays because when you use the go karts and then switch to the Peugeot LMP in one make racing, the go karts do wheelies! :D

That's because the vibe of SSR5 would be ruined if it were daytime.
I agree, part of the charm of SSR5 to me was that it was a night course only. I feel that it wouldn't be the same anymore if daytime was possible.

Though, I wouldn't mind having weather change possible for SSR5. That way, we could race on a wet version of the track just like in Gran Turismo 3.

I'm not crazy about any of the SSR tracks nor any track that is night time only. Of those that have appeared in GT I like the shortest one the best (was that SSR5 Clubman?) but would be perfectly fine if none of them were included.

Wow, talk about contradicting yourself. Just yesterday you were saying this:

Make up your mind would you.
