Midnight Racing Club - GT500 Season 2: Rd.10 Nürburgring 24H 23rd Dec

It's 3am here so I gotta go,sorry man.
I am far off,I was at the edge of my wits just getting a 54,carrying a gentle slide from mid corner to exit and VERY late braking is the only way I can make a low 54,it is incredibly tough.
For the race I aim for 55's in the earlier stint, that seems to be a good pace that balances wear.

Well if montalvomc times are anything yo go by the I ain't gotta chance. He just ran a 52

Just remember neal he ran 53's on suzuka and didn't run one 53 in the race , don't give up hope just keep practicing , try to be consistent no matter what times your running

Will join you in a bit

Ran a 54 4 so far , not a fan of this track might use the same setup as suzuka

Best time is a 1 54 001 so far , so close to 1 53's

Not happy with my setup here , just not a track I like so I don't think any type of new setup will make my times any better.

Don't think ill be on the front row at the start of this race :( but its still very early

Gotta get more time on this track, only managing 56's. Wouldn't be so bad if it was the full ring, cos I love that track.

Yes not got a wheel yet. Lookin fir one that's not A million quid. Lol

DFGT is a great wheel for the price. 👍

Anyone looking for an early practice , send me a pm on gtp when ready or just post in the thread and let me know who's lounge or room number

Neal I think you just need to learn the lines and be easier on the throttle exiting corners , I hate this track any nurburg track infact .

I will break into the 53's here probably like how I did in Suzuka : I cruise on my outlap saving every bit of tire possible and then push like hell .

My problem is finding the balance between pushing and steady pace , I'm a bit afraid of the car in low speed corners and can't find the right angle of attack, sometimes I catch it perfect where the rear slides enough where I jus point and accelerate , I could play with the lsd and make this happen more but since I don't like this track don't want to mess with setings too much .

Can't wait to get this race over and get to grand valley and tokyo

Skeng try adjusting your gear ratios,I use 2nd nearly everywhere and out of low speed corners it's abit better.
Also out of curiousity what is your LSD set at?Mine is 15 40 28.
I dare not touch my settings either lol.:P

Gear ratios are the only thing I have drastically changed for this race

My lsd is 5 20 10

I'm in my lounge if anyone wants to join

Had a breakthrough found a little more confidence new best time 1 53 542

Yep,dfgt and put some springs in the pedals.:D
That would be a good setup.

What you mean put springs in the pedals??

I just googled it and it didn't look as if it came with pedals.

Best lap I've done is a 1:55.9. I'm never not had TCS on so the car is sliding about a lot. Hope I don't cause accidents on Friday.

That time was 6 or 7 laps in so my tyres were worn a bit so I should be able to get into the 1:54's.

Ho guys. I've taken entry of the endos sc430. Straight off the bar and first time in the car, stock other than oil change and came second in super GT seasonal at nurb.

Any good for first run?

Can't really tell on stock hard tires but don't forget to equip soft tires.A turbo kit will also help your power delivery.

I should be sleeping now for class tomorrow but am watching V8Supercar racing LOL,so feeling the urge to come on and practice with you guys.Luckily my bro is hogging the PS3 or I'd never sleep.
Had a run with Skeng just now and I still can't understand how Im losing it in terms of driving technique. Please tell me the key points,Im really scratching my head.

I tried the Calsonic last season using Garagefather's tune for Deep Forest, I was a couple of seconds quicker than I was in my NSX (still not quite as quick as Garagefather though), so I wouldn't necessarily assume your driving technique is any worse than Skeng's ;)

Hey Soopa, in the first page there is 30 laps for Nurb GPF right? Beacuse Suzuka was 33 instead of 30 written in the table :)

Yeah that was my fault, I incorrectly set the number of laps for the race, it will be as advertised in future ;)

Your using the yellowhat gtr too right allascato , I need to watch the suzuka replay and look at your times . I've heard the yellowhat and calsonic are almost the same in terms of performance/handling/etc.
