Very cautiously optimistic, PD has been very quite lately, update 1.14 we got hints of something coming.
If this where the major update, spec 2.0 or whatever it would be called, would expect a bigger lead up to
it's release. More than likely just another small update.

It seems that PoDi has completely changed its procedure. They seem to have a schedule.

Can't speak for the people that actually have insider knowledge, but PD changed the encryption with GT6, which is why the hackers haven't discovered anything.

When the time is right, we'll know what the update will contain, whenever the update is released.

You haven't been paying attention. There's as much detail coming out from "hackers" about GT6 as there was GT5, there's just far less excitement for it and the news is far less widespread. The ingame code doesn't contain release dates but the insiders have let us know when other things were added to the game in preparation for eventual release like Senna content, VGT's, and other content.

If they are going to release a B-spec mode over the Course Creator, I will not be a happy panda. B-spec is near useless and Course Creator would be a Godsend for tons of GT gamers.

People still play GT?

Yes, this is pretty much guaranteed due to a lack of quality Playstation racing game competition. Driveclub failed, Project Cars has caught the PD delay bug, and Forza is a Microsoft exclusive. If something comes along with comparable physics and cleans up the rough edges that have plagued GT5 and GT6, then PD will need to up their game to remain on top of the racing game podium.

Imagine if you can train, uberize and race against your Bobs... Wouldn't it be a cool feature?

Or have Bobs farm money for yourself? Or be added along with endurance racing so you can switch drive?

IMHO a good B spec mode is precious to the game.

B-spec(GT4-style)is a dream...You run with your 'team' in endudance races!

Yes, this aspect of B-Spec of GT5+GT4-style!

The encryption changed? A byproduct of the recent console bans, perhaps? This is only going to make things more complicated for both us and PD; for us because we now know pretty much nothing until the updates come out, and for PD because people will be even angrier over the lack of info.

As for this maintenance, I'm taking this with a full package of salt. I don't think this will lead to any major changes, those will come later in the month, I'd imagine.

Yeah. Lots of developers are cracking down hard on people that hack/leak their game. Rockstar just a few days ago had youtube shut down accounts of those who leaked info via their channel, and even went further and banned them from GTA Online itself.

So PD pulled a Rockstar in this situation, that's what you're saying. Problem is, will this actually stop people from trying to hack their games? I heard some of the banned GTA people have opened new YT accounts, so that's happening...
