According to the official site, the maintenance is starting at (25th June) 23:00 BST (26th June 08:00 GMT+10) and concludes at (26th June) 01:00 BST (26th June 10:00 GMT+10).

That's the times. I don't know how it can be so confusing for some.

The news article is clearly wrong.

I'm not good with time zones, but the maintenance is 18:00-20:00 EDT. That would make it 00:00 GMT, and in Japan, it would then be 07:00. Correct me if I'm wrong.

When the maintenance takes place, it will be a bright and early 07:00 in Japan, so you are correct.

Not exactly looking forward to possibly having to stay up much longer then I want, but the time confusion and not knowing the exact time is not really a comfortable thing to sleep on.

If it makes it easier, the maintenance starts at 8:00am GMT+10. Just take the hours away to suit your time zone and there you have it. I highly doubt the official site is wrong. Anything else has probably been lost in translation.

So about 4 hours then??

No. More like 13 hours and 39 minutes.

So if I've calculated that correctly, that would be about roughly 3:00 or 4:00 PM for me. I can live with that

10am Friday for me and a day off work to make the biggest track in the world ( i hope )
Don't get your hopes up. It's highly unlikely anything other than the removal of the GT Academy events, release of the SRT VGT's and the inclusion of the Zytek and GTR-LM in the dealership. And if we are ever so lucky, an updated version of the Goodwood Hillclimb, but with no announcement nor hint that we should expect that, I highly doubt it.

I doubt it too , but you gotta dream big

If it's 11:00GMT, then I should be getting it at 1am or 1pm. Hawaii time makes things harder for me.

Don't mind me. I'll just be dancin' with my popcorn until the update releases. :sly:

This update will have COTA, the Rebellion R-ONE, 2015 R18, the Toyota TS040 and the course maker...

...but probably not.
don't get your hopes up. It'll just be the VGT everyone will stop using in about a week, and probably the gt academy stuff in the dealers.
