I'm just going to mention here that I've got a personal FTB server up and running, I'll try to post pictures when I get back home. It's nice, if some turdbucket didn't spawn a hydra in front of my house, but what can I do?

I tested FTB recently and it's a really nice pack, probably better than tekkit.

EDIT: All FTB files (launcher, modpacks, etc) are down... I think it's still too early for FTB.

I would! I'm sure others would come back if we had the Rapture map aswell!

I'll play on any server. I've had java issues with this machine but it's 99% stable now. I've tried logging into the server in the last few weeks but it's been down each time.

Hi there.
I've played on 2 servers since in my time away. The 1st one started well but about a week later we started getting restarts/rolllbacks and the owner then managed to corrupt the map and had an argument with someone but tried to say it was random, I lost a ton of stuff and justly raged him big time (as someone who rarely rages) and left, then everyone else left his server in the following week too, leaving him all alone heh.
2nd server was great with as many as 15 players getting on on the weekends, had 2 nice villages, sadly with the houses of members who had left, but then the existing members stopped coming and I kinda thought MC as a waste of my life. So I've sworn off of it.

I'll tell you one thing, I do miss the old world generation coding, Rapture is an absolute treasure, the new world gen plagued with boring land and endless caves is horrible and people on the official forum want to change that.

The end. Hope to walk the lands of Rapture again sometime though.

I've discovered BukkitGUI a while back (which also works with tekkit) and it's such a useful tool .


I need to hop back onto DQuan's server one of these days .

If anyone doesn't want to downgrade, try using MultiMC. It allows you to have different versions installed at once.

No whitelist, just take sure that you're using 1.4.7

Has anyone else had problems with redstone circuitry since the last update? I know they changed a fair bit but what should work as a redstone pulse repeater no longer does, it just powers up and then once you remove the lever it stays powered constantly. The daylight detector has also been acting up; it often turns on my redstone circuit even though it's engulfed in total darkness. Reversing it and making it a night time sensor seems to work perfectly though

The tekkit server hosted on treepuncher with the old dqcraft map just crashed and it's not possible to restart it...

Better don't ask why/how it happened or who it was...

It's looking more like an April Fools joke. But, there are some features that might be arriving soon. Colored glass, burnt out torches, overfeeding animals, Super Hostile mode, etc.

I want treasures. Gold chalice and similar crap, can be placed on a block aswell as held and used/functional some how, that kind of stuff. Not craftable, but an honest amount around in chests to hunt for underground.

Here's a simple way to downgrade, use Minecraft Version Changer. It's real easy to use.

You can also upgrade to 2.0!

Or use MultiMC. It's a launcher that lets you have multiple installations of MC with separate versions, mods, texturepacks and more.

I did 1.4.7 because 1.5 had only just come out so plugin compatibility wouldn't have been 100%. I may upgrade soon though.
