Did this first try tonight. Was very easy.

Used 911 Rsr.
Went hell for leather until i got infront.
Changed to save 4 and blocked the cars behind. (I was much faster through thd turns)
Pitted with 6 mins left
Changed to power 1
Caught leaders in 2 laps and pulled away to win by 9 seconds.

Did just now real easy .. won by 10 seconds..

Racing soft .. pit for new racing softs full fuel with around 7:20 remaining...

No change of fuel mapping.

I thing theyve made it easier in a patch

Yeah, they weakened the AI in 1.05 or 1.06, I think.

I just used the wall ride glitch on the first turn and won comfortably first attempt with the method. Theres a vid on youtube on this method

I completed this in 1st try using an Atenza. I used slipstreaming to get an edge. Did it with full no compromise on power. Used hard tyres though. My atenza was also tuned but not sure if that applies to the event. Didn't check really.

This one was a nightmare for me. This is what finally worked for me.
-Buy the Gr.3 WRX and use that. I tried several other cars I owned and this car was the easiest to get the power down coming out of turn 1 which was crucial.
-Start race with Softs on the front and Mediums on the rears. You can really abuse them on the oval track and going through turn 1 and 3 fast is key.
-Draft when ever possible. Duh. Be aggressive, you want to pass each car as quickly as possible and not hang behind them longer than neeeded.
-Pit on lap 11, switch to full softs and put in ~10.5 laps of fuel
-Get back out there and be aggressive again on those fresh softs.
-Once you get in first place, block like a mad man. Screw the etiquette videos, AI doesn't abide by them why should you. Be careful not to get spun out.

This was the only mission that required over 10 tries for me. It was awful, un-fun, and teaches you nothing about oval racing.

After reading all posts i thought i will struggle with this mission. Did it on first try with VW VGT and zero problems whatsoever. Have they changed something about the mission? I dont understand how so many people couldnt gold this, sincerely.

They nerfed the missions somewhere between v1.03 and now.

They nerfed this one to the moon and back as I did it on my first go. I used the Huracan.

I started with RM tyres. In theory you dont need to change tyres at all if your drive sensibily. Its slightly demoralising for the first part before you refuel as your driving only gets you up to about 3rd or 4th.

But then everyone pits and you get a low fuel warning to so you pit maybe a lap after.

I took on RS tyres and 2/3rd tank of fuel. The pits spat me out in 1st place and I cruised home with a half a lap lead. The end.

Its only about 20 laps in total and its a sub 45 sec lap so...

I did it in the Ford GT with all softs and FM 1. Went in at the six minute mark and came out in first. Had the pack come up and pass me for a few seconds, then I hit a corner nicely and they dropped back and I didn’t see them get close again.
