Seriously lads, if someone wants to cheat then let them. If i cut a corner or cut someone up then i slow for a couple seconds then resume, it makes me feel better but if someone wants so cheat to win, i mean needs to win that badly that they have to cheat, bless them and their desperately sad life, dont get me wrong, if there was 10 grand at stake id be like screw you guys im gone, but for braggin rites??........

Oh, thats not fair, i wanted to LIKE this comment.[/QU

What Phillpots is saying is exactly what i would of said myself in the PSN thread, but I didn't get round it, If you did cheat and you gained the position or time that you wanted, would you really feel that great sense of achievement and euphoria from doing so.

Me personally it just wouldn't feel right.

As ive just stated on psn, we need an independent decision maker with no affiliation to any team but one who cares about the series and has common sense, theres only one candidate imo.

Edit. Point in case, as im writing the above comment, who should post?

Monza will be at a Later Date.. Hopefully the Patch will clear things up. Hockenheim on the 12th of July.
Hockenheim is another bad track 1st bend you can cut the corner so much you don't even need to lift then just run wide, best track would be brands hatch it is impossible to cut then hopefully all other tracks will be fixed by patch.

Why are we so concern about people cheating?
Do we have reason to believe that someone would cut the track? From what i´ve seen, everyone (in pro room at least) is trying so be fair and respecteful.
As a matter of fact I even prefer racing with cut track pennalties off, for two reasons; first if you cut the track to avoid an accident you can just wait for your opponent and resume right after he passes you isnted of being given a 5 sec pennaltie.
Second, if you have any doubts about someone you can allways check the replay.

Replay only follows your car, you can't check anyone else's, so unless you're having a battle there's no way to check.

The main issue would be in qualifying where a driver can just take half a second off of their lap time by cutting that one corner. It's absolutely ridiculous and anyone who doesn't want to cheat will be at a massive disadvantage.

I don't understand how anyone can be against getting rid of cheating, this isn't some weird exploit that only works half the time, this is a very easy corner cut that I was able to do 5 times in a row yesterday without a single problem, and I'm an amateur driver.

You know if you have no trust in your series why start one. You need to rethink some decisions you've made lately. I do not like what I read this morning in the Admin chat. this is getting ridiculous. People are going to get tired of this and quit. Ive tried to keep my mouth shut through all of this but I can't anymore it's just one thing after another. And the way you were talked to, you know what I'm talking about was bull. Id put that person in their place. I was looking forward to Monza and I'm sure there's other people were too. People are getting tired of this. Everyday someones cheating or theres a change. I'm starting to get really aggravated with all this. you need to think back when we started this even before Christmas and think of the mindset. It's gone downhill. It's taking the fun out of this. I hope it changes soon. Maybe you would like to point out who was cheating. I'm sick of hearing that word!

What? Was that supposed to be directed at someone? Not trying to be rude or anything, just not sure who we're talking about when you say "maybe you would like to point out he was cheating", or "the way you were talked to, you know what I'm on about was bull".

Edit: also, once again, monza is not being dropped from the series, all that is being changed is the order of the races. Surely no one is going to quit because monza is going to be maybe the 6th race of the season instead of the 3rd?!

If someone do this in quali, well, he still is 1 sec off pace, and most probably will be overtake by everyone fastter than he in the race.

I´m not in favor of cheating, I just think that we are all grown ups, and if you cheat is kind of lame...

Did you felt any better?

Yeah we are all grown-ups and I'm not event trying to suggest that anyone would cheat like that, I'd like to think that if we joined a series we're all here to race fairly and cleanly.

But again, what issue is there with delaying the race to ensure that no one can cheat, instead of just relying on trust?

Oh, and in reply to "did you feel any better", I cut the corner in a practice session to see how easy it was to do and how effective it is, it wasn't a race. If I hadn't tested it I probably wouldn't be as bothered as I am now about it, but like I said, very easy to do and a big advantage to gain from doing it.

I'm sorry but what is the harm in delaying monza a few weeks untill the patch is out? It's still Going to happen but If we can race it when track limits can be enforced then it's better for everyone, why this is a issue is baffling? Monza will STILL BE RACED it's not like it's cancelled. I would think most people would prefer racing with all track limits active. you may say why would anyone cheat but I've been racing for years on league racing and people will take advantage, I'm just confused why racing monza a few weeks later when patch will be out will be a problem no track is changed the same tracks are still in the calender but we will just be racing them under proper track limits, im really confused what your issue with this can be? We also have longer than Normal to practice so there is no issue.

So what if that person that cheats ends up ruining someone's race at the front where they shouldn't be? There is a reason why qualifying is on it's to put the fastest people at the front not the people who can cut corners.

I think we should cancel the series and go on a team building/bonding exercise so we all get to know each other enough to know that nobody is going to cheat.

All this speculation is pathetic.

In case you couldn't tell, my first sentence was sarcastic.

The call is, Brands Hatch on July 12th. Monza is August 2nd i think. Not my fault Project Cars has bugs in the Game. So everyone, Practice Brands Hatch GP. Again it's not our fault about cutting the Track. it'll be fixed with this Patch.

No, people threating to quit the series because of a schedule change is pathetic.

The decision has been made by Stalliono, can we all please accept that now and look to the next race instead? We don't want this thread to go the way of the old.

The change is helping everyone. Quitting a Series because the Staff wants to make it better for everyone. The Staff has agreed to Move Monza back. What's the point of Brands Hatch and not Monza. We aren't Racing this week.

Monza is on August 2nd. I think it's after Spa. Trust me i don't like Cheaters. Cheating well i hope you all know. If your caught Cheating. You will not get any Warnings. Your gone!!

When you guys have a complaint about the game. Go to Project Cars Forums. I think they have a section for Bugs. Don't complain in here. I have no control over Penalties not being recorded for corner cutting. Just the game has issues. Hopefully the game will be fixed within the next month or 2. If it isn't then who knows where this game will be. Other Racing games will be out. So hopefully SMS will step it up.

Guys RESPECT THE BUGS ON MONZA. Monza is on August 2nd. Monza won't be taking out. That was actually the Track, i picked for the Series. Most Drivers in here picked The Race Schedule. No more talk about the change. Practice Brands hatch for July 12th. Again the week off is for 4th of July.

See you all at Brands hatch GP

Bring your Rain Gear!!

United Kingdom as some weird Weather...

This is my recognation. I'm out slot open. Too all that stood True to what this was about, I wish you luck.
Fancy a chat dude?

Maybe I should have kept things more private between me and stalli, but in fairness after you left the chat he did admit that he had tried to "cheat". I put quotations there because he doesn't think it was cheating, but I do. Doesn't matter either way, just thought it would be better if we talked about what happened in private this time instead of making it public again.

This is a joke right? Two people want a track change so it's changed?

If someone cheats kick them out, it really is that simple.

1st monza is still in the season just few weeks later, next I'm
Sure it's more than 2 people, next how can you prove if someone has cheated easier to deal with it before it's put in that situation, people going on about trust when the organiser put a pro in replacement for a am knowingly are you surprised there are trust issues?

Yes I am surprised there are trust issues. I've never been in a series where people have to worry about people cutting chicanes, that's really pathetic.

Second, why do we have an OP? Why not just mix everything up in a hat and pick settings out week by week, so far that's what we've done.

What happen to having 3 people in charge and that's it?

Staff voted to push Monza back. This really isn't a big deal. Let it go and Practice on Brands hatch
