Facebook group decent idea but some of us don't have Facebook.

Keep it real-time and download the app on your phone called GroupMe.

Would be perfect for the series. If agreed and people get the app I will setup the room

I don't see what's wrong with setting up a PSN chat. There's one going already with most of the original members. I think everyone is capable of having the PSN app on their phone?

Have a chat for social and one STRICTLY for business. Stuff like roll calls etc. That way everyone gets an instant notification of the important stuff.

PSN chat is trash because half the time PSN is trash. It's delayed. It's slow. Half the time can't even read messages.

It certainly used to be absolutely crap, but these days is much better, I can read and send messages instantly, and with the phone app it's a lot easier to type out messages.

GroupMe app >> PSN app though. Trust. It's real-time group chat like it would be on a group text with your phone. Can have separate groups per tier, a social lounge for everyone, a results group etc. it's lovely IMO.

Anyone else who wants to be added to the psn chat we have going at the moment, send me a friend request/message on here and I'll add you too. We're using to organise causal meet ups and practice sessions, no serious discussions on the series.

groupMe isnt a forum. its a mobile app. u can mute it, silent etc. but most importantly it wont give any one an excuse to miss an announcement, and be out of the loop with the rest of the series. i think its the best route to take, but again, its not up to me so

Oh ok fair enough, I thought with the discussion of moving it to another forum this was one possible location. Yeah your idea would work as like you say, people will have no excuse for missing notifications. If we keep the amount of messages being sent light as well, people shouldn't have to mute it either, we can keep bigger discussions on here.

It might be worth turning up for qualifying and putting a time in just in case someone else doesn't turn up.

Make sure and run the HUD with the steering FFB graph (top left) to make sure you aren't clipping the FFB.

Hey thanks for your tips guys. Lots of setting get up to do. Got to go to sleep. I'll need a day or to to get everything right then I'll be ready to race. I've got the steering starting to feel good. Just needs a little bit more work. Then I've got to get my cockpit right. I'm getting there. I did a few laps around Silverstone and got a 2:16. Need some time to get use to these physics. They feel good though.

Not sure but he did drive with all assists off and therefore spun quite often. Made laptimes around 2.17 on Silverstone and when he saw all other guys doing 2.11 and such he thought it was no idea to keep going.

Didn't have the patience like us others to keep practicing and improve tenth by tenth.

That's really disappointing (to me anyway), I'm not very fast and at this rate I will have no body to battle with. I was a bit worried about signing up knowing I'm going to be slow, but so far I'm enjoying it. The focus will hopefully be on the guys in the pro tier.

we arent putting assists on off though. atleast not every tier.

Guys it's going to take me some time getting used to. I found controller settings that helped me out a lot. Have adjust the settings.

We thought it was an all assist off championship so that's how we practiced. When I found out you could use assists on "real" he had already set up his mind.
