Important Information for all Monday Racers ! (Series start 28th Jan) Amended

Please check the following table carefully. I have tried not to make any mistakes such as listing someone in 2 different teams, but it is very easy to make errors.

It is our first Blue Riband event of 2019 inspired by the end of season sports car races which took place in Nassau Bahamas each December from 1954-1966. The idea was to extend the tourist season and fill the hotels with wealthy people. Some incredible cars and the World's finest drivers competed, enjoying sun, sea, sand and parties! Stirling Moss enjoyed himself so much that he built himself a holiday home in Nassau and in 1958 when his fees could not be agreed, he helped out in the pits!

I have split you into 3 teams of 5 drivers, each of which is headed by a Captain and Vice-Captain.

There is also a Reserve Team "Mecom" Captained by Simbalora @AndreasR

Points will be scored individually and also for the team. Due to the performance difference of the cars, the individual championship will be scored overall and by class. If anyone doesn't have the cars needed please let me know.

NB some drivers are using the Mercedes Benz 300 SL for 4 of the 6 rounds - this is a substitute for the many small Porsche cars which competed for class victories against the bigger, faster Ferrari and Aston Martin cars.

If you are not planning to participate please let me know asap so that I can line up some other drivers for the teams - thank you guys!

Thanks for the helpful comments guys!

After reading the comments I have decided to try the following changes for next week - for this Monday Series only:

One make - BMW 2002 SW only
Start - Go on Green! But please give each other plenty of space - especially approaching corners.
Results - Your best 2 results from each round will be scored.

Looks like Andreas will take it as well, I've got an operation on Monday so will miss that race and Wednesday's of that week, possibly longer depending on how long it takes me to recover.

I've got an operation on Monday
Hope all goes well Rob. 👍

Was funny when i crossed the finish line the boot poped open too probably to put the scrap in...
It would have been funnier still if your bonnet had dropped out of the sky and landed in it. :P

@ShaunyB quite liked it I think, we had another couple of races after you guys left!

Get well soon.

Must say i can't wait for normal racing to resume !
New guys this is not the norm !!!

I'm also looking forward to the next series, which I hope is going to be a really good one although I did manage to get one good race out of three last night.

I have dropped the Ferrari 250 GT from the next (Monday) series and instead that will be used with a Ford Mustang next year (2020) in a short series inspired by the "Tour de France Auto".

Here is the revised listing:

Hello guys sorry I haven't raced, and should have put this message up sooner,
I've tried everything to reduce the lock up but without success

tbh I could not get use to the default brake pressure ,which in default 95% , hence brakes would lock up with slightest touch and as tyres warmed up the lock up would get worse,

I've raced in a few leagues and won the odd race but never in default ,

You guys are great to race against but sadly I will have to leave ,if you ever decide to race even if I could just alter one thing the brake pressure then give me a shout,

I hope all of you the best and may there all ways be good clean racing , bye guys.
