Montmelo Circuit de Catalunya confirmed in next update

So Asian Final = Fuji

Euro Final = Catalunya

Americas Final = ?

Does Fuji have any kind of FIA certification? If so I'd guess we will get Circuit of the Americas for the US final (much as I would love Laguna Seca, we didn't get Spa this time so probably not going to happen). Maybe Indianapolis with the GT history?

Would love to see Sebring. Not much hope it ever will apear in GT sprot though :-(

Will proberly be COTA. A track I really never liked. Anyway gues any more tracks the give us is always a great thing :-)

Hope also that Sebring or Road Atlanta will be added. But I like COTA a lot so what ever will come its highly appreciated

I compare it due to there are more boring F1-tracks added to GTS for each update than other courses.

Well, I think than I cant help you. I'm happy about every new Track that will be added.

I don't like at all the way this game is going. It goes more and more to the very boring track-racing and not so much towards Rallye and rallycross that it is much more fun than this. It seems that the dev-team are F1-nerds. Too bad. It would been fun and great if they could add more tracks on gravel and mud and snow. Why not the swedish rallye for example?

There are only 2 F1 cars in the game, and you do realise tracks like Monza and Catalunya are used for far more than just F1?

Yes but only with two tracks. How many boring racing-tracks are there? Too many and it seems to be many more added...

What does it matter when all of the off road textures feel the same? The rally physics were half baked to begin with so wanting them to grow the game in that direction is just silly. I do agree that the dirt physics are good enough for flat rally cross stages but beyond that there's not much to gain by going deeper into the rally genre.

Well there are Nürburgring, Interlagos, Suzuka and Red Bull Ring thats are F1 tracks aswell and Brands Hatch where they have competed with F1 cars before. So many boring F1-tracks than other and city tracks for example.

I watched the Super GT race at Autopolis yesterday (great race btw) and that really looks like a fun track. It certainly provided some fantastic racing in both GT300 and GT500 classes. Wouldn't mind having that in GTS.
Autopolis is a possibility. PD had a de-bug version of GT6 featuring the circuit.

I just wish GT would get a real life track not ALREADY in PCars2.

Basically, it's game over as far as equalling PC2's car and track list, so why not zig while they zag?

An American track not in PC2 or AC? How about Road Atlanta? How about VIR? How about Sebring? Sebring even qualifies as an F1 track if you go back far enough!

But if PD keep trying to play catchup to PC2, they will always be on the back foot. No offense, but what's the POINT of a GTS track already in PC2? Their version has full weather, full time progression, and track evolution (from green to rubbered in, etc.), not to mention a better selection of cars to drive on it.

PD rolled the dice and came up craps... The only winning move is not to play (dating myself with that reference!). Let's go for content (street cars and different tracks) that can ONLY be played in GTS. Then there's a reason to play it...

You know better. Quite many of us haven't played PCars2 so the all new track thrill is there. Of course this all is your opinion but really, PD is trying to catch up PC2? They really aren't. They are clearly on their own path, in better and worse.
Dare I say the majority of us GT gearheads couldn't care less about bump stoppers in game. The real GT feel is it that we seek. And we know GT Sport has done many things right in the true GT feel section in its first year.

Autódromo José Carlos Pace, AKA Interlagos

Best guesses, in order:

1) Laguna Seca
2) Sears Point
3) Road America

I'm hoping for Sears Point, but any of those 3 would be just fine.

i think you are onto something here... laguna is in previous GT's so it would be a very logical guess. i do miss that track

Ciao

Don't forget Daytona and Indy because are two layout each one (as Pears Point) !

Would be sort of weird to include the Sears Point NASCAR layout as it's no longer being used starting next year. They could add the Indycar layout, and maybe it'd actually be accurate, unlike PC2...

Very true. GT Sport has done many things right and is a great version in the franchise I feel. It's thinning down and rebuilding from the ground up addressed many of the problems with GT5 and GT6 which tried to do too much and seemed to feel hamstrung by the development difficulties associated with PS3 hardware.

The post release support and updates for GT Sport have been nothing short of excellent, and continue to come, including in my eyes the welcome addition of circuit Catalunya; a track never before seen in Gran Turismo. Keep it up PD I say. Good job.

road and Drag strip :D

OT
So the top serie of NASCAR from the next year would have only one road track (the Glenn) ???

Well, none of the tracks are boring and they all have their own characteristics though.
As much as I'd like to see a new track like Sebring or Watkins Glen, or even a remodelled Laguna Seca, I think it's likely we'll be getting either Daytona or Indy.
I wouldn't mind either. I like their road courses and GT Sport still lacks a proper Super Speedway.
