exactly my opinion...On Forza 4, I watched a few let's play's on Youtube and I must admit Forza looked the better GAME, but not as good in terms of a sim.
GT is the better SIM...Forza is the better GAME
The customization features looked nice and there wasn't a million Skylines either, and there just looked to be a balanced car list in terms of countries where they were made. The AI looked infinitely better than GT5's and the track list was way more appealing to me.
Oh yeah, there's also a livery editor.
in fairness to GT5...Forza 4 has its "repeat" cars as well...especially race cars...where they offer IDENTICAL cars with different liveries as completely different cars...
I personally think the different liveries should be offered as "paint options" when buying the car like choosing between Red or Black...
AI is better but still annoying...i find that they randomly "brake check" for no reason going through the apex of a turn which can really cause problems when you smash into the back of them because they should be accelerating...
That could be easily remedied by not allowing anything chrome to be put as a color on vinyls.
dont like they idea...of not allowing chrome...oh how i wish chrome was an option for decals in Forza!!..
but the way to really remedy it for the most part is to make things distinctive enough that its difficult or impossible to duplicate...
something like the "special cars" have a windshield banner that is not available for "decaling" on the "regular" version so even if they replicate the paint job its easy to tell its a fake...or exclusive RIMS...or an exclusive aero kit that can't be purchased...
