All,

So we are going to make a mid-season switch to the race setup.
Instead of racing two tracks a week we will be racing one track a week.
The first race will be based on qualifier and the second will be based on reverse grid order, not unlike that of the SNAIL [Spec] Series setup.

Thanks,
Jake

Definitely the way to go. The other format was a little demanding for the working man. Plus it gives these guys thats had clean air a chance to mix it up. Like to see a updated schedule tho.

So are half the remaining tracks going to be eliminated or is the season going to stretch in calendar length?

No we are just going to keep one track but still have two races a week

Right I understand that, but that would mean either half the remaining tracks are being removed from the schedule or the schedule grows to keep all the current tracks on the schedule. Your last post doesn't answer this question. If the schedule is going to grow in calendar length I'm going to have to withdraw.

Well with a new championship format leaving just spa and indy. I gotta say im excited to see how it turns out. Its the halfway point of the season and I must say im happy with where I am sitting in the standings. Be nice to get a win for the rookie season tho. I have had the pleasure of doing some testing on next seasons Bop and wow! I think it could be super exciting for everyone. So just gotta thanks to the guys for letting me be a part of that. I know by season 4 they will have all the bugs worked out and I cant wait.

Thank you for the kind words sir. And it has been a pleasure having you help test the new BoP. And by the end of the day last weeks race will be posted as well as the season standings

Looking forward to it. Also I want to take time to remember Dale Earnhardt Sr. 4-29-1951 to 2-18-2001. On this day 14 years ago a true legend was lost. Practice in club lobby tonight for sure. I hope to see some fellow drivers attend.

I had the same problem. I don't know if this will help but, the main cable coming into the house was back-feeding. It started screwing up 6 months after they installed it here. I called the cable company expecting to pay for a service call to get it inspected. This is happening again now for me but, this time I personally witnessed the lightning strike that caused this round. It also took out the main wires and the breaker box. That's a different scenario. Call the cable company.

No, we just felt that 2 tracks is a bit much to tune for per week. The schedule is still the same, no longer. We were actually not going to implement this until next season however, it was proving too much for every one as a whole to tune and practice for 2 tracks. You don't have to fret a longer season, just better prep.

Sorry guys I won't be racing tonight. Haven't had a chance to practice all week and I just walked through the door. My apologies.

I noticed that as well on the first page of this thread. We ran Twice at Spa, Reverse grid for 2nd race. Will probably be doing the same at Indy Road Course next Friday. I was way behind in both races last night but i have to keep remembering i am on a DS3 controller temporarily, scheduled to get my first racing wheel next month. I know i am fast even with the controller but not as fast as the guys who already have a steering wheel. Had lots of fun and Good Racing to everyone.
