Great qualifying effort from Regan Smith starting 8th tomorrow. Hopefully they can bring home a solid top 10. 👍

Haha that is really funny. I thought he was blocking the sun at first, then I saw it was only 1 finger. Now he's getting parked for 2 laps. Haha wow.

Awesome race!

Slap in the face to the 48 team having someone else do their job. Kyle Busch had me rolling on the floor, and GO JEFF GORDON!

It sounds as though the 31 and 24 may not be headed back to the track today.

I believe NASCAR told the 31 not to go out until the 24 is ready.
The 31 is ready but the 24 team is supposedly dragging their feet on repairs.

Too bad what happened today to both teams.

EDIT
24 out.
31 trying to get back in.

EDIT
31 in.

EDIT
31 done for the day.

My boy Kenseth almost brought it home. And what a bawlsy move by Chad Knaus.

Lol @ Kyle Busch for totally ruining his team's day. It was funny though.

Also LOL @ the 48 team for pretty much firing the 48 crew and bringing in the 24 crew. Way to build morale for the final races.

Although I wonder if the 24 and 48 teams will switch crews for the last 2 races.

Rick Allen just made the best pun ever while they were showing the penalty with Kyle Busch:

"This further proves that one bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" That just made my night

Congrats to Hamlin, Great job to my man Mr. Kenseth, and poor Greg Biffle, he was the class of the field. The Jeff Burton/Jeff Gordon Fight was . As for Kyle Busch that was absolutely  but he needs to chill out and you know what? ESPN didn't edit it out when he did it. Fantastic.

You've got to love the 11 team, so much confidence, when they say they going to win, they deliver. I think Jeff Gordon did the right thing yesterday, been a frustrating season, and yesterday was the day to let out the frustration. As for Kyle Busch, its those sort of things what he needs to cut out, if he wants to win the championship.

Well he was out of it to begin with so I doubt he could have been back in it. I will say though, he seemingly is the only guy right now who has no problem in letting NASCAR know how he feels (even if not in the most recommended way).

Yeah I know he was out of the running for the title, I meant down the line. For him it all went downhill at Kansas, the incident with David Reutimann. Also your right, he'll let NASCAR know about it like yesterday. But NASCAR will have the last laugh for sure, they'll probably fine him.

Jeff Gordon in a fight? That's just incomprehensible. Also, lol at Kyle Bush's rage quit.

I can think of a couple of other ones who regularly chew out NASCAR in post-race interviews.

Boy Wonder is not afraid of a fight, if I remember correctly, he got physical with Matt Kenseth at Bristol or Atlanta on pit road, its on youtube for sure. That said, he's no Kevin Harvick or Jimmy Spencer

One thing my dad pointed out that I thought was rather funny (paraphrased):

"Mark Martin finished third and very possibly could have won the race if Hamlin and Newman took each other out like it looked like they might have done. But he's not in the chase, so he's not important enough to interview."

They interviewed him on one of the post race shows. 👍

So I currently live about 10 minutes away from Phoenix International Raceway. Might go to the race this weekend, still not sure. On the way to work this morning saw a few souvenir trucks headed towards the track. :)

Nice, enjoy your time there if you go. 👍

Looks like RPM is still on shaky grounds.

Richard Petty Motorsports on hold: The situation at Richard Petty Motorsports remains tenuous at best, despite reports to the contrary. Last week team officials said everything was set for this weekend's Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway as well as the season finale the following week. But five truck drivers remained in Fort Worth at Texas Motor Speedway waiting for the call as to whether they were heading west to the next race or back to the shop in the east as of Tuesday evening. The organization has been in limbo as team owner George Gillett is still reeling from the financial hit he took Oct. 15 when the English soccer team he co-owned -- Liverpool Football Club -- was taken over.
RPM had planned to run two cars next season with AJ Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose. However, until money can be secured to settle the current debts at RPM, it's uncertain how much longer the organization will be around. Sources told FOXSports.com that Richard Petty, the team's namesake, was in talks with Andrew Murstein, President of Medallion Financial Group, in a bid to gain financial control of the company from Gillett.
As a backup plan for Paul Menard, who has already announced that he will leave RPM to drive for Richard Childress Racing in 2011, the #10 Stavola Labonte Racing Chevy stayed within two hours of Texas Motor Speedway in case it needs to turn around and head to Phoenix for Menard's use. Stavola Labonte Racing has a technical alliance with RCR.(FoxSports)(11-10-2010)

Travis Pastrana to MWR Nationwide?

Rally champ and hoon king Travis Pastrana left the Subaru team today to drive for Michael Waltrip's NASCAR team in the Nationwide Series. What, too many right turns in rally?

Not much other info, and nothing on Jayski's, but interesting none the less. Why does Nascar draw so many divers of other disciplines?

Is it really just for money? They'd give up before they started making anything significant.

Edit: And this
