I've had enough of Matt Crafton. I have never liked him since he got to the Truck series. Taking out not one but TWO front runners with 8 laps to go in 2 separate occasions. Then he has the balls to say none of them were his fault? WTF?

He's the scum of the truck series. I'd advise him to have a chat with pass champions i.e. Johnny Benson, Ron Hornaday, Todd Bodine. Three examples of class act drivers.

Don't forget Skinner, who even said "you don't wreck people to win championships"

Like inviting in race winners who aren't in the top-12? Which would put Kenseth and Busch in the chase if something like that was used.

Dont forget Reutiman and Logano, although they got theirs by the best two words in the English langauge according to Homer Simpson, de-fault

Sure you're not reffering to the Press Conference after the Daytona race?

No sir, definitely during the pre-race interview

Guys, hope you are all strapped in because it is Chase time, first race of the Chase in New Hampshire with the Sylvania 300 and you think Juan Montoya isn't fired up for this, think again:

NASCAR.com
Juan Montoya sped around New Hampshire Motor Speedway in a track-record 28.545 seconds (133.431 mph) to win the pole for Sunday's Sylvania 300, the first race in the Chase.

Montoya, who clinched his berth in NASCAR's playoffs last Saturday at Richmond, starts the Chase 40 points behind Mark Martin, who qualified 14th in Friday's time trials. Tony Stewart, the points leader through 26 events before the Chase field was re-seeded according to race wins, will start beside Montoya on the front row after a lap at 132.581 mph.

Chase driver Kurt Busch, who matched Stewart's speed to the thousandth of a second, will start third alongside Denny Hamlin (132.030 mph). Carl Edwards (132.012 mph) qualified fifth, followed by David Stremme, Martin Truex Jr., Bobby Labonte, Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon.

"At the end of practice [earlier Friday], we made a [qualifying] run," said Montoya, who won his second pole of the year and the second of his career. "The lap wasn't that great, and we still ran a .70 [actually .74], so like, 'Wow -- interesting. Can't complain.'"

Montoya won his Chase spot with conservative points racing but now is inclined to take a more aggressive approach.

"You've got to be very smart about it," he said. "Most of the cars in the Chase are going to be up there. To gain points is going to be really hard, but to lose points to them is going to be very easy. So I think you've got to be very smart about it on that aspect, but in the end, you've got to go for wins.

"You've got to go for broke here."

In addition to Montoya, Stewart, Busch, Hamlin, Martin, Edwards and Gordon, drivers competing in the Chase earned the following starting spots: Kasey Kahne, 11th; Jimmie Johnson, 16th; Ryan Newman, 18th; defending race winner Greg Biffle, 22nd; and Brian Vickers, 26th.

"I was happy with it," said Stewart, who, as the winner of three races this season, enters the Chase 10 points behind Martin. "I think we ran a .74 [actually .79] in practice and a .72 in qualifying, so we backed up what we ran, and we're pretty happy with that. Normally, if we qualify well here, we normally race really well here, so it's a perfect start to the weekend so far."

Could we get a big surprise in the Chase?

Great job from Montoya. As if Ganassi didn't already have a good start to the weekend with his Indycar teams qualifying and finishing 1-2 at Twin RinG Motegi. Definately will be looking forward to Sunday, Montoya has really come around. Hopefully, it pays in the form of the win and if all goes right, a championship.

Edit: Hahahaha, Max Angelli had this message for Montoya: "Shake & Bake, First you shake, then you bake"

You know Montoya (or anyone) is good when Mark Martin says that he's a threat to win the championship.

Whoo, that was crazy. I gotta ask Rick Ren if he has anymore Tums because that was a heart a attack. Montoya was right there, almost touched him so many times and then a spin on the last lap and everyone split around that car. He didn't win, but he is damn close to getting one.

I like to know why Pattie put on 4 tires during that one caution when everyone else went for fuel only.

That call nearly killed his race.

Congrats to Mark Martin on the first chase win. Hope he keeps up pace through the rest of the chase, I'd really like to see Martin pull it off. Montoya would be a nice change of pace as well, just end the Jimmie Johnson show already.

Looks like the 18 team may be expecting a penalty soon.

After finishing the Sylvania 300 in fifth place on Sunday in Loudon, N.H., Kyle Busch and the No. 18 team may be facing some penalties this week after failing post-race inspection at New Hampshire.

During the post-race tear-down, NASCAR officials determined that Busch’s left-front was too low according to NASCAR’s specifications as set forth in the NASCAR rule book. Any penalties that may be accessed will be announced in the next few days.

Who knows if it was actually anyone's fault, or if it was just mechanical wear on the suspension. I don't really care for KB or the Toyota teams in Nascar, it's still a lame way to get a penalty if that ends up happening. Unless it was on purpose and it aided them to a 5th place finish. If that's the case, take them behind the wood shed and beat them. Not like it matters much though, he missed the chase train anyways.

lmfao to the 18 team

I want to say I want Jeff Gordon to win the title, but if you ask me... I'm starting to want Mark Martin to win the championship. He is NASCAR's version of David Coulthard- a great racer whom never has won the championship. He's NASCAR's tragic hero. And if he's going to retire, I want him to retire on top.

Still gonna pull for Kahne to win the cup, okay? Okay. :nervous:

He still has a shot, normally as long as it's only 1 DNF you can still win it. Although it will be that much harder.

FYI y'all, Busch has been given a 25 point deduction for his infringment at New Hampshire, LMFAO over and over again

TS
I don't get the joke?

There isn't one, i am just LMFAO over the misdeamours of that team.

Nothing makes me more happier than to see that pretty boy poser get everything that he deserves

Montoya for the Championship :) :)

Go 42!

Most times I would probably agree with that. However, with Mark Martin having a strong chance at the win I gotta go with him. I would really like to see him win the championship before leaving the sport. Maybe 42 can get it next year. :dopey:

You're really overdoing the "Lmfao" posts now.

LSX
As well as 25 owner point deduction and 25,000$ fine.

I really don't care what that team does now, they're not in the chase. He could win the rest of the races this year and it wouldn't bother me none. It's all about the championship from here on out. 👍
