It sounded like you were making a prediction for a game that had already played.

I was making a point about how crucial of a spot being down 2-1 is. For Thunder, it was either going one up on the Mavs(by taking the homecourt), or going down 3-1. I usually try not to make habit of making predictions after the fact.

I got that. It just seemed more in present tense than in past tense. Since it wasn't, I'm sorry I made the assumption. :guilty:

I understood it the first time.:P
Tomorrow will be an exciting game, if Miami can win they're clean through to the Finals even though they basically already are. How big were Wade's blocks at the end of the game yesterday?

It would be interesting to see how Bulls are going to win three in a row. I agree, Paulie. It would be very interesting & exciting.

But it was (probably)in present tense, as I was making point about the particular circumstance. Mac, let it go. Please! I do realize that I'm the one who's dragging it on.:P

This game got exciting at the end of the 3rd.:D

Edit: Whoa WHOA WHOA WHOA!

What a finish to the game! See you soon Dallas!:D

BOOM! IN YOUR BOOTYHOLE CHICAGO!

I actually gave up hope when Wade missed that layup on the break at around 8 min left and the team kinda gave up a little bit. Spoelstra must have some magic oratory because they really went all out at the end.

I forgot that Lebron becomes automatic at the ends of games. SUPER clutch.

I'd never thought I'd be rooting for the Mavs in the Finals.

Whatever, Omnis. Whatever!

Dirk is gonna get his Kraut packed by Lebron. I'm kind of worried about Dallas though. Dirk can do anything and his boys can actually shoot once they get the dish. Bibby, Jones, and Miller better practice beyond the arc like crazy. Can't afford all those damn missed shots.

Also, how can you root for Dallas? Seriously, how?

Your team, that's how! God I hate Jason Kidd, too. I need another shower.

I still say Miami over Mavs, but Mavs did sweep the Lakers, took care of the Thunder in five. And of course, most impressively, they beat the West's best team Blazers in six(pretty sure it was rigged).

I read something about how Dirk didn't even celebrate the Western Conference win? Sounds obvious to me, but I do like hearing that. They are going to be the underdog.

Mavs will have shooting & bench/depth going for them. I have no idea how they match up, offensively or defensively. All I can say is that it will be interesting. Go Mavs.

I hope Mavs win, because if they lose, some of the things I will say, Omnis will ban me. For sure.

What's wrong with Miami? I don't understand why we have so many haters. You guys are just jealous because Pat Riley is a straight up pimp.

While everybody knows they rigged it, you are completely right. We are jealous. If my team announced that they signed LeBron, Wade & LaMarcus Aldridge, I'd have probably kissed the person next to me. Replace L-Train with Bosh, and I'd still have hugged that person. If Bibby signing was also announced, probably still have high-fived, though I'm not promising anything.

Yes, Omnis. We are all jealous. Who wouldn't be?

Wait to Miami have some vet's knocking (looking for a ring), and are looking for a job... afterall this year was meant to be the teething year...

 You built that up perfectly.

GO MIAMI!:D

We have a new head coach... Kevin McHale signed on today as coach for the Houston Rockets. All I know is that I'd love to see the Rockets return to being a viable threat instead of a (mostly) middle-of-the-road team. Clutch City star power would be a dream for Rockets fans like myself.

I saw most of the end of the Heat at Bulls. The Heat just teed off on the Bulls from deep. I think the big key was that three-pointer and the Derrick Rose foul. So it's going to be Mavericks and Heat for the championship. Part of me wants to see Dallas win for Southwest Division solidarity. Part of me wants to see Miami win to show they've been the awesome team. I think a lot of people are probably favoring the Heat more than the Mavs. Just because I'm a Rockets fan doesn't mean I discredit the abilities of the other two Texas NBA teams. Dallas is damned good.

We got lots of time before the NBA Finals tip off, so let me ask you all... earlier today, one caller to a local sports radio show said that if the Heat win the championship, it could trigger a trend of trying to set up a "Big Three" in other NBA franchises to try to better the Heat. I don't think this is going to happen where Cleveland or Sacramento try to find three big players to rule the roost in the NBA (or at least try to). Do you?

My calculus professor texts me during the games. We have mega lols, and have officially renamed #0 to Mike Brickby.

Both teams obviously want to win this one, but who do you think this NBA Finals series matters more to- Dallas or Miami? Dallas to help establish the likes of Dirk and company, or Miami so that LeBron and Bosh to taste championship gold (D-Wade already has a ring from the 2006 championship)? It should be a great series. I am not going to make any picks because I'm pathetic at picks. Not even going to predict how many games this series is going.

I have to give LeBron credit. In the Boston series, he had to play against his former teammate/future daddy. I'm sure it was a distraction.

My mom has an intern that is Keyon Dooling's sister-in-law. She says that everyone hates West and the whole Lebron's mom thing is the whole reason the Heat-Celtics series was so physical.

NBA Finals Game 1 TO-NIGHT! Mavericks at Heat. Who you got starting 1-0: Dallas or Miami?

Heat probably take it. They're an incredibly good home team, & they won't let the Mavs try any 4th qtr. comebacks.

YOU SHALL NOT PASS! The Heat have to win at home though. Go Heat.
