Ahead by many as 17, Rockets f:censored: this one up in a 105-103 fail at the Washington Wizards. Still ahead of the Lakers, but this loss isn't helping our cause to either stay in the 8th seed or better our position. You know it stinks to lose to a pathetic team. However, this team is very much improving with John Wall back. We're not going to play again until Wednesday back in Houston. LOT of time off... which unfortunately means more time to feel the sting of this loss on the road.

That's all. Pat on the back to all other teams that won tonight, including eventual winners of games up to and beyond the time of this post.

Yeah you think you're team is going through it's doldrums, but tonight don't be surprised to see the Bulls get slapped tonight.

Tough shooting night for the Bulls while I was in attendance. Durant also had a terrible shooting night.

...yet the OKC Thunder stymied the Bulls 102-72 (I think) last night. Not every win is pretty.

The Lakers won at Dallas earlier yesterday, so they are now just 2.5 back of my Rockets for the 8th playoff spot after we failed at Washington on Saturday.

Enjoy tonight's games.

Bulls went for 6-34 combined at one point!

Nor should every loss be ugly, but damn this Bulls team is nowhere near to what they were the past two years.

If it makes you feel better, Rudy G was 1-11 today against Washington in the Raptors loss.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls. That is tonight's NBA Fan Night game of the week. So America wants to see how the Bulls match up against the Cavs in Chi-Town.

Both the Jazz and Lakers lost last night. The Celtics needed Overtime in Salt Lake City to win, and the Lakers faced a tall order trying to take down the Denver Nuggets in Denver.

Enjoy tonight's games.

Here is a little rundown of Tuesday night's games, starting with the NBA Fan Night game of the week...

* Chicago and Cleveland were tied at 48 at the half, but it was the Cavaliers who won 101-98 in Chicago. This win for CLE snapped an 11-game winning streak Chicago has had over Cleveland.

* The sorry Orlando Magic went to Philadelphia and handed the 76ers a 98-84 loss.

* In Miami, it was the Heat who beat the Sacramento Kings 141-129 in Double Overtime. LeBron James accounted for 40 of Miami's 141 points. It would surely be painful for Miami's winning ways to be snapped by a team like Sacramento.

* Golden State felt the 108-97 wrath of the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors had 38 points. There was even a little brawl also took place late in this game.

* The Brooklyn Nets put down the New Orleans Hornets/Pelicans 101-97 in New Orleans.

Congratulations to the eventual winners of these games:
* MIL at DAL
* MIN at PHX
* CHA at LAC

[UPDATE] Seems like part of the GS at IND game involved a rumble. The brawl wasn't like the Pacers/Pistons brawl or the Nuggets/Knicks brawl, but it was a scuffle nonetheless. Roy Hibbert (IND) got locked up against David Lee (GS), and Hibbert got ejected. Technical Fouls were handed out to four other players.

Leading by as many as 17 against the Milwaukee Bucks, the Rockets failed 110-107 as Brandon Jennings broke the Rockets' hearts on a game-winning, buzzer-beating three. Another bulls:censored: m:censored:f:censored: performance by my Rockets, who seem to be content with allowing themselves to be knocked out of the 8th Playoff spot. I'm sure we'll f:censored: up at Orlando on Friday so the Lakers can climb even closer in the playoff race. Rockets now have to hope the Jazz and Warriors both lose just to keep pace in the West. The story of the Rockets lately- beat a team up and down (especially those you can beat), hope it lasts, and end up losing anyways. If that continues heading into Friday, the Rockets are in some playoff trouble, as if they aren't already.

This is not the time to f:censored: up and fail. They need to get their heads into the game and play with more heart and determination if the Rockets want to return to the playoffs and return to relevance.

Yeah 54 in a game aint bad for Curry.

The Raptors on the other hand got 8pts out of their bench to be beaten by the Cavaliers for 🤬 sake, who didn't even have Irving. They may as well have lost to an NBL team. Goodbye 8th place.

February 2013 is coming to an end, but not without a bunch of games. Three games are tonight, two of which (of course) as part of the NBA on TNT. Here are tonight's games:

* Los Angeles Clippers at Indiana Pacers
* Philadelphia 76ers at Chicago Bulls (NBA on TNT)
* Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Lakers (NBA on TNT)

Thursday night hoops. Enjoy!

That same Cavs team beat the Bulls in Chicago.

Steph really got snubbed this year for all star this year , I think Jack will get 6th man of the year though.

March Madness. It's a college experience, but the same could be said in the NBA. Before heading into tonight's matches, here is just a simple rundown of the Conference Standings. Is/Are your team(s) still in the hunt? Find out by looking at this:

7.) Boston (-12)
8.) Milwaukee (-13.5)

REST: TOR (-19.5), PHI (-19.5), DET (-20.5), CLE (-22.5), WAS (-23.5), ORL (-26.5), CHA (-29)

--- WESTERN CONFERENCE ---
1.) San Antonio!
2.) Oklahoma City! (-2)

Now a brief look at last night's games.

* As the Lakers were housekeeping at Staples Center last night, the Clippers hit the road. It was 99-91 in Indianapolis as the Los Angeles Clippers took down the Indiana Pacers at their home.

* Chicago picked up the 93-82 win at home over the floundering Philadelphia 76ers. Joakim Noah was beast raking in 23 points and 21 rebounds in the winning effort.

* Did the other Los Angeles team win? Yes, and convincingly- 116-94 was how much the Los Angeles Lakers tamed the Minnesota Timberwolves in Los Angeles.

Time to either improve your position or maintain your position. Enjoy some NBA hoops this weekend.

The Rockets led by about as many as ten. This time (unlike the last two games), we won. It was 118-110 as the Rockets won at the Orlando Magic. James Harden (HOU) had 24 points while Carlos Delfino got about 20 or 21 points for the Rockets. Rockets will return home Sunday night to host the Dallas Mavericks at Toyota Center.

I freaking hate Chicago ESPN. It's either asking when Rose is coming back, or bashing Thibs for playing his men too much.

I'm sorry, is 40 minutes too much for an NBA player getting paid millions? Seriously I'm siding with Thibs. If you can't handle the minutes then perhaps the player should seek another career.

Yep. Good old spankin'. It was us... who spanked the Dallas Mavericks! Our spanking of the boys from Dallas here at Toyota Center was a 136-103 victory. This ends a streak of Dallas beating us nine successive times. We know the boys in Dallas will want revenge. You can call it a grudge match since our next opponent is Dallas. This time... IN Dallas. Dallas would obviously be pissed off and want to hand my Rockets their butts this Wednesday. Both Houston and Dallas don't have any opponents between now and Wednesday (besides each other). And when we take on Dallas in Dallas, it will kick off a three-game road trip for the Rockets. Chandler Parsons lost his marbles tonight- putting on a serious scoring show in the Rockets' victory.

Congratulations to all other winners, including Miami's victory at New York and Oklahoma City's victory at the Los Angeles Clippers among others.

Here are some other scores from Sunday:

* The Knicks pinned down Miami for a good amount at Madison Square Garden, but the South Beach boys managed to win 99-93. Their winning streak continues to about, what- 14 games? LeBron James had 29 points and 11 rebounds.

* The Clippers weren't quick enough to tame Kevin Durant and the Thunder. Clippers fell 108-104 at Staples Center to Oklahoma City.

* The Memphis Grizzlies went down to Orlando to take on the Magic. I'm sure even Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse were sick of seeing the Orlando Magic continually fail. This fail was a 108-82 beat down courtesy of the Grizzlies.

* It was Sacramento who won at Sleep Train Arena, and the only thing that went soundly to sleep was the visiting Charlotte Bobcats' offense. The Kings won 119-83.

* Washington's Wizards won 90-87 in Washington, D.C. against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers, who continue to freefall.

* San Antonio had no problem wasting Detroit at home. 114-75 was the root canal that the Spurs delivered to the Detroit Pistons.

* It was a most unhappy outcome for the Chicago Bulls as the Indiana Pacers won 97-92 in Indianapolis.

* Staples Center was not done with action on Sunday. The Clippers failed at home, but the Lakers didn't fail at home. It was 99-98 in favor of LAL as the Atlanta Hawks didn't have what it takes to suppress Kobe Bryant's 34 points and the rest of the Lakers' offense.

Seven games slated for tonight. Have at it!

Last night, the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Los Angeles Lakers 122-105 in Oklahoma City. The real story, though, was the fact OKC won committing only two turnovers- tying an NBA record. You may get two turnovers in football (gridiron football, of course), but only two turnovers in basketball? That's impressive!

Tonight, my Rockets are going back to work as we'll be hosted by the Dallas Mavericks tonight. The Rockets will embark on a three-game road trip including this game in Dallas. In other Rockets' news, the Sacramento Kings waived Aaron Brooks, and the former Rocket is now playing for... the Houston Rockets. Welcome back, A.B.!

Enjoy some Wednesday night NBA hoops.

The way the Rockets' radio broadcast described this one, this is a game we could have won. Several other teams ahead and behind us have tumbled as the Rockets just try to get some insurance and some stability in the playoff race. Unfortunately, we start this road trip by failing 112-108 at Dallas. Up next is a back-to-back starting Friday at Golden State followed by at Phoenix on Saturday. I'd say Dallas got themselves some redemption over us Rockets types.

Blazers at Memphis, Blazers up by 14, 17, something like that in the third quarter. As soon as I started following the game, they slid all the way to a loss, blowing the entire lead. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's used to this treatment from their home team.

Cheer up a6, at least your team didn't allow the Lakers to go on a 20-0 run in the 4th quarter to lose the game, so 🤬 off cause we should've had that game.

Is that the NBA continuing to fix games so LA makes the Finals?

Probably not, put simply the box score in the 4th quarter was 30-9 to the Lakers.

Either way, I'm putting on my rage face now for the Lakers game against the Raptors which starts in 5mins.
