A new season means many new things... including the first NBA Fan Night Game of the Week. Here's how it works... there are a slew of games fans can choose from to see on NBA TV. The game that gets the most love from the fans is what NBA TV will show on Tuesday nights. So the the first NBA Fan Night Game of the Week is...

ATL Hawks at MIA Heat!

NBA fans want to see the Hawks soar into Miami to hook up against Omnis' Miami Heat. It should be a pretty good match. ATL has a 3-1 record while MIA is 2-1. Lot of games on tonight, like seven games are on tonight including ATL at MIA.

Go enjoy some NBA basketball this Tuesday night.

Happy birthday, Toronto Raptors! When I was watching "The Starters" earlier today, it was on this day in 1995 when the Toronto Raptors played their first game in franchise history. They won their first game and ended up winning (I believe) 21 games total in the 1995-1996 season. So the Toronto Raptors franchise is 20 years old. You've been around as long as the Raptors franchise if you were born on or after 11/3/1995.

I forgot to mention... tonight's NBA Fan Night is a doubleheader: Hawks at Heat followed by Nuggets at Lakers.

Three straight losses to start the season. Now we've won back-to-back games. Our latest victim was the visiting Orlando Magic to the tune of a 119-114 victory, but 48 minutes wasn't enough to settle this score. The Rockets led late until the Magic forced Overtime. So we needed 53 minutes to put away Orlando for good. Rockets now 2-3.

Congratulations to all other winners on today, including a nice little road win by Paulie's Toronto Raptors at Brett's Oklahoma City Thunder.

I guess it will be 80-2 now, after dropping the last two games. The Thunder play Da Bulls tonight in Chicago.

This Thursday night is going to be REAL busy. We got FIVE games tonight! Two of them are part of the NBA on TNT. Get ready for these five matches tonight:

* MIA Heat at MIN Timberwolves
* OKC Thunder at CHI Bulls (NBA on TNT)
* CHA Hornets at DAL Mavericks
* UTA Jazz at DEN Nuggets
* MEM Grizzlies at POR Trail Blazers (NBA on TNT)

You're going to be one busy bee trying to follow these five games. Enjoy some NBA basketball tonight.

They'll be lucky to crack 50. Donovan's late game adjustment was amateur & the team continues to play ISO ball through Westbrook & Durant. 👎

Rundown time.

* So Charlotte knocked off Dallas tonight in Dallas? Wow! That has to suck. The score was 108-94 as I learned.

* Misery loves company, so 104-98 was how much Chicago beat the OKC Thunder in Chi-Town. I'm sure this one hurts for Thunder fans.

* 96-84 in Minneapolis as the Miami Heat tamed the Timberwolves.

* How about Utah? They win again! Same score as the previous item- 96-84 in favor of the Jazz. Jazz rocked and rolled over the Denver Nuggets in Denver.

Congratulations to the eventual winner of MEM at POR.

Raptors finally lost today, had to happen sooner or later as their offence hasn't been up to par.

Everybody loves late games! My Rockets are actually on a late game back-to-back. So the Rockets decided to pay a visit to the state capital of California to take on their beloved basketball team. The Sacramento Kings were dethroned by the Rockets with a 116-110 victory. Dwight Howard didn't play, and neither did DeMarcus "Boogie" Cousins (I always liked "Boogie Cousins" better personally). Anyhow, DH12 didn't play as a strategic measure to reduce his workload in back-to-backs (according to ESPN). He'll return to action in our next game. Got to keep your big guys healthy. If this helps, so be it. Maybe this could have been a measure when Yao Ming played with the Rockets. Anyhow, the Rockets won themselves another game and are now 3-3 on season. Whether or not they go on the positive side of .500 depends on how we do at a familiar foe- the Los Angeles Clippers later today (now that it's Saturday).

Congratulations to the other winners from Friday.

The Rockets were 3-3 heading into Saturday night's game at the Los Angeles Clippers. Did we go over .500? YES, SIR/MADAM! Also, James Harden finally woke up. He had 43 points in the win at Sacramento on Friday, and he had 46 points at the Clippers in our 109-105 victory on Saturday night. Seems like the Rockets just had a slow start and finally have gotten going. To use a racing analogy, I guess the Rockets were on cold tires but finally warmed up and are now rolling hard. So after three straight [20 point] losses, we've now won four straight. Finally smelled the coffee after a brutal start.

Congratulations to Saturday's other winners.

I actually didn't know the Rockets would play again until tonight. After losing three straight, we've won four straight since... now we failed again. The Brooklyn Nets beat my Rockets 106-98 here in Houston. It just wasn't enough for the Rockets to try to take down the Nets. Our next game is on Friday is against the team that put the first loss on the Rockets' 2015-2016 season- the Denver Nuggets. This time, in Denver.

Congratulations to all other winners from Wednesday, including a nice win for the Charlotte against the visiting Knicks.

Lots of injuries starting to pile up now for most teams, such a sucky part of the sport.

May I interest you in some basketball, sir/madam? Good! How about I interest you in tonight's three games:

* UTA Jazz at MIA Heat
* GS Warriors at MIN Timberwolves (NBA on TNT)
* LAC Clippers at PHX Suns (NBA on TNT)

So we'll get to see DCybertron's Suns in Prime Time tonight when they host the Clip Joint. You all go enjoy some NBA hoops tonight.

LA at Dallas tonight. Bought my buddy and I tickets so he could see Kobe play one last time and I could watch Dirkules win. :D

It's back-to-back losses for the Rockets, as we failed 107-98 at Denver tonight. Speaking of back-to-back, that's what we're on right now as the Dallas Mavericks pay a visit to H-Town tomorrow night. This will actually be the start of a three-game home stand for the Rockets.

Congratulations to all other winners from Friday.

I can't imagine John being too happy tonight. Losing to my Mavs who rested Dirk, Mathews, & Parsons in a blow out.

Someone in Houston's FO needs to start considering to either reign Harden in, or bench him completely. Only this guy puts up a near triple double (25/10/7) on 5/21 shooting....

This dude is nowhere near an MVP; if the refs aren't blowing their whistles, he looks like any regular player.

Oh, I'm upset this team sucks hard this season. You go from Western Conference Finals runners-up to lethargic. This is pathetic. Congrats to Dallas on the 110-98 victory. And for that matter, congrats to all other Saturday winners. H-Town need to sort their problems this season out in a hurry before they have to look ahead to next season.

What the m:censored:f:censored: is wrong with the Rockets? Boston comes to Toyota Center and hands my Rockets a 11-95 whipping. This is f:censored:ing ridiculous. The Houston Rockets are just falling off the map. This was a team to be potentially trying to make a run back to the NBA Playoffs and hopefully make an NBA Finals run. Now, we're just a bulls:censored: team that is stuck on four wins and are perfectly fine with losing. This is g:censored:damn m:censored:f:censored:ing bulls:censored:.

These guys need a talking to like they won't believe. I don't care even if they fire Kevin McHale- the Rockets are going in the wrong direction and need to remember just who the hell they are.

Congrats to the other winners from Monday, but this is terrible for my boys.

It's Tuesday. To NBA fans, this is another NBA Fan Night. And this week's NBA Fan Night Game of the Week is...

TOR Raptors at GS Warriors!

So NBA fans want to see if Paulie's Toronto Raptors can subdue the blue and gold boys from the Bay Area in their house. It will be tough, but anything can happen.

This is one of seven games on the card for tonight. Regardless, enjoy some NBA hoops tonight, GTPlaneteers.

I will be in attendance for OKC's game tonight against the New Orleans Pelicans. Anthony Davis left New Orleans' game last night with some kind of shoulder injury. Hopefully it is a minor injury and he will be able to play tonight.

In other news, the Houston Rockets have fired Kevin McHale.

All I can say about my Rockets firing Kevin McHale is that the Rockets need some kind of shakeup. You don't go from Western Conference Finals runners-up to being stuck in the mud the following season and keep your roster. A lot of people are saying McHale isn't the problem- it's the Rockets themselves. I really don't know. The only thing I'm not hoping to see happen is some sort of fire sale or some serious shuffling of the team to try to hopefully right this [sinking] ship of a team.

Rockets host the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. Enjoy some NBA Hoops this Wednesday.

You might have heard Kevin McHale got canned. With J.B. Bickerstaff as interim head coach, we came from as many as 17 down to Portland to win 108-103, but we needed 53 minutes rather than 48 minutes to settle this score here in Houston. Still, a win is a win, and the Rockets are now 5-7 on this early season. I almost want to jokingly say that if we make the Playoffs this season after this atrocious and unacceptable start, (whomever the permanent head coach is) should win the Nobel Peace Prize and have (that coach's) statue erected outside of Toyota Center.

Congratulations to all other winners on this Wednesday, including the Dallas Mavericks' win at Boston and Brett's Oklahoma City Thunder putting down Stavingo's New Orleans Pelicans in Oklahoma City.

I really don't think McHale was the sole reason for the Rockets' poor start, and it looks like someone within' the organization thinks along my thoughts that Harden deserves blame as well.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...nality-reportedly-frustrating-rockets-players

According to Jeff Zillgitt and Sam Amick of USA Today, Rockets players have grown unhappy with guard James Harden's on-court play and "aloofness."

Dwight Howard also reportedly had the closest attempt at helping McHale stay.

Let's put two NBA teams on a basketball court and see what happens. In fact, let's put a couple more teams on two more courts. It is not just a cool science experiment- it's the truth for tonight! So get ready for these three games for tonight:

* SAC Kings at MIA Heat
* MIL Bucks at CLE Cavaliers (NBA on TNT)
* GS Warriors at LAC Clippers (NBA on TNT)

Your Thursday night will hopefully be more interesting with these matches. Enjoy some NBA hoops tonight.

The Rockets' disappointing 2015-2016 season continues with a disgraceful 96-84 beating in Memphis. We're falling apart like a pair of jeans getting ripped from the seams. This is mind-numbingly sad for my beloved basketball team. It's too early to think Astros' baseball or stay with Texans football at this point.

Congratulations to Friday's other winners, including the New Orleans Pelicans winning at home against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Rockets tried again to remember how to win when the New York Knicks came to H-Town. The 2015-2016 Rockets know exactly what they are after tonight's 107-102 loss- f:censored:ing failures. The bulls:censored: and f:censored:ing up continues as this "pursuit" team is contintually finding ways to fail. The saying goes, "wherever I go, there you are." And what the "you" here is failure. This s:censored: needs to stop because this team is just a f:censored:ing embarrassment right now.

Only bright side is that at least we have more wins than the 76ers at this point. Philadelphia is now 0-15 on the season after losing 96-91, and I'm pretty sure even they'd spank my Rockets the way we're playing this season and the way we can't seem to win games.

Congratulations to every other winner on this seven-game Saturday.
