The Houston Rockets tried to get to .500 by trying to win at the Brooklyn Nets... and failed. 110-105 was how much the Nets beat the Rockets on this night. So the record for Houston is now 10-12 as they head into the Washington Wizards tomorrow night on this back-to-back for the Rockets.

Congratulations to Tuesday's winners, including the Warriors going to 23-0 after a win at the Indiana Pacers.

The Houston Rockets improved to 11-12 with a 109-103 win at the Washington Wizards. So not all bad for us on this back-to-back. Tough loss at the Nets, but we recovered with a big win at the Wizards.

We won tonight! Congratulations to everybody else who won tonight, including a 105-100 win at home with the Boston Celtics hosting the Chicago Bulls.

The Raptors snapped the Spurs' win streak with no Valanciunas or Carroll, did not see that coming....

You want NBA basketball? You got NBA basketball. This Thursday night will not be just another boring night, and here are four reasons why:

* PHI 76ers at BKN Nets
* LAC Clippers at CHI Bulls (NBA on TNT)
* ATL Hawks at OKC Thunder
* NY Knicks at SAC Kings (NBA on TNT)

Folks, go enjoy some NBA hoops tonight and be happy.

There is a god.
The Milwaukee Bucks finally beat the Warriors, 108-95, to end their streak, sending Golden State to 24-1. The Warriors now have the 2nd longest winning streak in NBA history, behind the Lakers 33 game streak, which was also ended by the Bucks.

The Houston Rockets played their 24th game of 82, and the Los Angeles Lakers show up in H-Town. It was a chance for fans in H-Town to see Kobe Bryant as he heads into retirement. We were able to win tonight with a resounding 126-97 victory. This win puts the Rockets at the .500 mark with a dozen wins and a dozen losses.

On this nine-game NBA night, congratulations to the other winners from Saturday, including the Milwaukee Bucks handing the Golden State Warriors their first loss of the 2015-2016 season with a 108-95 win in Milwaukee. Maybe the 2015 Warriors are human after all...

The Houston Rockets started a three-game road trip tonight. The first two games is part of a back-to-back. So far, so bad. 114-108 was how much the Rockets lost at the Denver Nuggets. Back on the wrong side of .500 we go. Yay.

Congratulations to Monday's other winners, including (I hate to say as a Rockets fan) big wins by Texas' other two NBA teams.

M:censored:f:censored:ing disappointed this f:censored:ing season. A losing back-to-back was sealed with a 107-97 loss at the Sacramento Kings. Next game to conclude this three-game road trip is on national TV at the Los Angeles Lakers. Knowing us, we'll f:censored: this one up like how my Texans of the NFL did hosting New England this past Sunday night. Somebody needs to be f:censored:ing fired or f:censored: traded because this bulls:censored: is ridiculous. This team right now is NOT a team that can return to the Western Conference Finals and maybe win it. Instead, this is a powerful team that needs to make some changes if they have any hope of even making the playoffs and staying among the better half of the Western Conference. This s:censored: the Rockets are putting out is f:censored:ing unacceptable.

Ranting aside, congrats to everybody else who won on this four-game Tuesday.

Can somebody PLEASE fire the Celtics commentators? Worst commentators ever.👎

Boston Celtics commenting is unique in Tommy Heinsohn being perhaps the ultimate in homer analysts. Nobody defends a home team in commentary quite like Heinsohn and his Celtics. He's been doing this for years (perhaps decades).

Word has it that if indeed the Houston Rockets want to do away with Dwight Howard, DH12's next landing spot could be... the Miami Heat. Who the heck would the Rockets get as a legit big man, though? I only support Dwight Howard because he's playing for my team. Most people will probably think the Rockets' problem is James Harden. The Rockets aren't as much of a mess as the Houston Texans as far as Houston teams go, though.

Well, go enjoy Wednesday's games. Matches tonight's 12 games include Brett's Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the Portland Trail Blazers and DCybertron's Phoenix Suns going to the Golden State Warriors to try to hand GS their second loss of the season.

Next Thursday is Christmas Eve. This Thursday, it's time for a little more Thursday Night roundball. Christmas come early? Tonight features three games for your enjoyment, two of them as part of this week's NBA on TNT, all making for one night of NBA madness:

* TOR Raptors at CHA Hornets
* OKC Thunder at CLE Cavaliers (NBA on TNT)
* HOU Rockets at LAL Lakers (NBA on TNT)

Enjoy some NBA action tonight.

So, did you enjoy watching my Rockets hammer the Los Angeles Lakers 107-87? This disappointing season for the Rockets reaches a happy outcome for Thursday as this road trip didn't end up being a winless one. James Harden went silver with 25 points on the night. I think we never trailed or tied in this game. Anyhow, Rockets win! The win improves us to 11-12. Still VERY far from a team that should be at least in the better half in the Top 8 of the Western Conference.

Congratulations to the other two teams that won on Thursday.

I can't believe ya'll still that bearded nut shoot the ball. 7/24, 2/9 from 3? No surprise he nearly raked in half his points from the FT line. Even Kobe turned back time tonight.

The Pistons prevailed over the Bulls in a quadruple overtime game today, what a game!

107-97, Rockets WIN! We didn't need Ty Lawson (suspended by NBA for DUI charges) as the home-standing Rockets were up by at least 22 at one point over the Clip Joint. Back to the .500 mark now with this win. This is going to be a tough stretch with a lot of teams with winning records are coming up on our schedule. Now if the Rockets can go over .500 and stay above .500 for a good while...

I read on ESPN's Bottom Line that the Lakers' 118-78 demolition, this is the 6th time in franchise history that the Lakers lost by 40 or more. Kobe Bryant didn't play because of (I believe) a shoulder injury. But guesst what? The Lakers... didn't really play at all either. Anyhow, nice job running over the Lakers, Oklaoma City.

Houston and OKC didn't fail. Congratulations to everybody else who didn't fail today.

A swarm of Hornets invaded Houston from Charlotte, North Carolina tonight. No worries. We won 102-95 hosting the Charlotte Hornets. We are now 15-14 on the 2015-2016 season. James Harden got himself 36 points. Terrence Jones cashed in 17 points, Marcus Thornton had 13, and Patrick Beverley got 11. Top scorer for Charlotte was the 14 points by Kemba Walker. Next up for the Rockets is one of Dwight Howard's former teams- a trip to Orlando to take on the Orlando Magic this Wednesday.

I hear that for the 2016 Basketball Hall of Fame, some of the eligible inductees include the following: Shaquille O'Neal, Yao Ming, and Allen Iverson. Congrats to these fine individuals for all of their respective careers.

Congratulations to Monday's other winners on this nine-game night.

The Thunder beat the Clippers last night on a dagger shot by KD and a huge block by KD at the buzzer on the other end of the floor.

The Rockets failed tonight in a close game. We lost 104-101 at the Orlando Magic. This latest fail puts the Houston Rockets at 15-15. The Rockets may have back-to-back losses for when we host the San Antonio Spurs on Christmas night. Speaking of Christmas, I LOVE the uniforms to be worn this Christmas!

Anyhow, congratulations to all the other Wednesday winners. Too bad my Rockets weren't among tonight's winners.

All teams have played at least 30 of the 82 games of the season. Nothing's been decided or clinched as of yet. So there's still a chance for teams to better their potential postseason hopes. It would be the absolute long shot, but even teams like Philadelphia and the Los Angeles Lakers can still make the playoffs at this point. Keep on pushing and keep playing hard! NBA goes back to work Christmas day!

Good luck to all of your teams moving forward.

There's rumours the Pelicans are willing to trade Ryan Anderson, and I think he'd be a great addition to the Raptors, though apparently his defence his really bad and pairing him with Valanciunas would be really bad. So I'm not sure what would be an acceptable trade to make it happen.

Merry Christmas, GTPlanteers! If NBA basketball is what you want for a Christmas gift, then check out the games under THIS Christmas tree:

* NO Pelicans at MIA Heat
* CHI Bulls at OKC Thunder
* CLE Cavaliers at GS Warriors
* SA Spurs at HOU Rockets
* LAC Clippers at LAL Lakers

I mentioned long ago that I loved the first look at the Christmas uniforms for this Christmas. Even the NBA TV show "The Starters" had all approved of the jerseys for this Christmas. You all go enjoy some NBA basketball today.

I predicted a Rockets loss tonight to the San Antonio Spurs. However, we won 88-84 in a tightly-contested game. I think San Antonio had a seven-game winning streak heading into this game. This was a great win for the Rockets.

We're on a back-to-back, so our next game is at the New Orleans Pelicans tomorrow night.

Congratulations to all who won on Christmas 2015.

Three words- DAMN DAMN DAMN! After a big win at home against the Spurs on Christmas, the back end of this back-to-back results in a 110-108 loss by the Rockets at New Orleans. We were actually leading late until the Pelicans went on a good scoring run. This latest fail by the Rockets puts them back at .500 with a 16-16 record. This team is about as big of a mess as the Texans. The "Nawlins" boys, meanwhile, got their tenth win of the season to go to 10-20. This game was a bottom-feeder game as far as the Southwest Division is concerned.

On a lighthearted note, I really loved the Houston Rockets' Christmas uniforms. The red with white accents really popped and seemed festive. They were my favorite uniforms of the ten teams that played, and I'm NOT being a homer.

Congratulations to Saturday's winners.

Hey good for you Philly, you won your second game of the season. Raptors exploded late to rally and beat the Bucks 111-90.

DC, your club looks like it's ready to implode. Kudos to your owner sitting down with everyone individually to figure out what's going on, though.

Well we got our injured players back but couldn't beat the Bulls today. At least most of the Aussies did alright today.👍
