Sike, he's going to Golden State!

Holy ****, I can't believe he actually joined the best regular season team ever that knocked him out of the playoffs, what a bitch move
This is has been by far the most challenging few weeks in my professional life. I understood cognitively that I was facing a crossroads in my evolution as a player and as a man, and that it came with exceptionally difficult choices. What I didn’t truly understand, however, was the range of emotions I would feel during this process.

The primary mandate I had for myself in making this decision was to have it based on the potential for my growth as a player — as that has always steered me in the right direction. But I am also at a point in my life where it is of equal importance to find an opportunity that encourages my evolution as a man: moving out of my comfort zone to a new city and community which offers the greatest potential for my contribution and personal growth. With this in mind, I have decided that I am going to join the Golden State Warriors.

I’m from Washington, D.C. originally, but Oklahoma City truly raised me. It taught me so much about family as well as what it means to be a man. There are no words to express what the organization and the community mean to me, and what they will represent in my life and in my heart forever. The memories and friendships are something that go far beyond the game. Those invaluable relationships are what made this deliberation so challenging.

It really pains me to know that I will disappoint so many people with this choice, but I believe I am doing what I feel is the right thing at this point in my life and my playing career.

I will miss Oklahoma City, and the role I have had in building this remarkable team. I will forever cherish the relationships within the organization — the friends and teammates that I went to war with on the court for nine years, and all the fans and people of the community. They have always had my back unconditionally, and I cannot be more grateful for what they have meant to my family and to me.
*insert sellout chants

Seriously? Why Durant why? I always thought the trend of super teams has ended when Lebron decided to return to Cleveland and give them a championship. But now this, I've lost all respect to KD. Now I even hate GS even more. I hope they end up being just like the 03-04 Lakers where they were fully stacked but lost to the Pistons.

I always thought Durant might at least end up in Lakers where he can build a team whom they lost a player who played for 19 years and gave them 5 rings.

Unless GSW is planning to somehow get a center, getting rid of Bogut is a horrible move. Having him stay would be better than getting Durant.

Shaq out of retirement?

I'm joking.

So true. I think as soon as they lost Bogut, that killed their Finals.

Small Ball Draymond is their center, which works in the playoffs when it counts. They could get someone like Kendrick Perkins who would be great in the role of "screensetter extraordinaire"
They will be attacked and destroyed at the rim all season. As good as Draymond can be at the 5, he does not have the size to consistently keep out big men from going at him. He will be worn out by the season end.

They need some vet minimum centers (Like Kendrick Perkins) to eat up the minutes in the regular season. That's what I was trying to say. Once they get to the playoffs, Kendrick or whoever they get can go down to 8-10 minutes and Dray can be more of a center

Because Draymond was doing that so well when Steven Adams was starting to go off, that he ended up kicking the guy in the nuts twice.

Had to make this...

People seem to make this Kevin Durant deal almost like LeBron James and "The Decision." Only, of course, without the fanfare and drama. I do hope this all works out for him at Golden State. He made a basketball decision. It isn't like Kevin Durant is some tomato can or overrated garbage. We'll see how Golden State will try and build some chemistry with Kevin Durant.

Old Rockets news... we signed Ryan Anderson and Guard Eric Gordon long ago, I think both to 4-year deals.

As much as I dislike the Warriors, I can't root against Chalmers face or Pendrick Kerkins

Ray Allen is still alive?

Mario Chalmers wouldn't be a bad choice.

The Mavs have offered Wade a 2 yr, 50 mil $ deal. Though im not sure he'll accept it since the whole Cavs thing has been going on.

That's not true, the mavs don't really have room after the Harrison Barnes deal. However, the Nuggets offered that contract to Wade, though. Doubt he goes to Denver, and doubt he'd take the min from the Cavs to play with Bron, as people have been speculating.

I don't know, he may feel slighted by the Heat and want to stick it to them as much as possible, and following the superstar who just left them 2 years ago may be what he wants to do in spite of the money he is giving up.

Also, if KD knew this it makes sense that he's abandoning ship, since he apparently hates Free Agency

I think I read that the Houston Rockets signed Nene to a one-year deal today. Not sure if he still has it or not, but I'm... on the fence with this signing.

I am so ****ing mad right now. The BULLS? ****! The Bulls ****ing SUCK! THEY GOT ROBIN LOPEZ! Man, WTF is wrong with Dwyane? Been hanging around Lebron with that hometown Kool-Aid too much. ****!

I mean, god damn at least go to Cleveland where you can win some more titles and continue your bromance with Lebron Gaymes. I mean, what the **** man. The Bulls SUCK worse than Miami. And it doesn't even make sense because it's a two year deal and he won't get his retirement contract. What the hell is going on here, man.

You know, Omnis, I don't blame you for being upset. Maybe Dwyane Wade's mindset was, "if LeBron James can return home and win a title, maybe I can do the same for my hometown." This would make it seem like Wade wants to one-up LeBron. So your frustration is truly justified. If this is what D-Wade actually thinks, then he must be delusional unless the Bulls somehow try to build their own roster to say they'll represent the East in the upcoming season's NBA Finals.

Oh boy.....Wade in Chicago? I wonder why? Is it for the money?

Well I am more worried on NBA 2K17 though since we have an OP team. I wonder if they're going to ban GS from NBA 2K tournaments or online events?

They most likely will do that.

You know a signing is bad when not only the league's fanbase is upset over it, but the video game's fanbase as well (yes, I'm one of them).

I always thought 2011-2014 Heat was already OP but GS is even more OP compared to the Heat. At least Miami didn't have too many shooters who are in all star form. (Chalmers, Allen, Lewis, Battier, possibly Bosh, M. Miller, and House)
