Some fantasy sleepers perhaps?

I feel bad for Hinkie.

I just took a gander at the Bulls most likely starting lineup: Rondo, Butler, Wade, Lopez, Gibson

I'm not sure how it will work, and if it can, how will Hoiberg make it work?

Meanwhile all these rumours are coming up about Monroe wanting to come to the Pellies, sure would help our centre depth but don't wanna give up too many assets for him.

Sure I don't mind, as long as Bucks don't want something too steep in return.

Has Maker put on any weight or is still around 220?

Wouldn't have a clue, news on the NBA front is very quiet at this time of year. You usually don't hear about weight gain until the start of training camp.

I heard a few days ago that Paul Pierce is going to go another season. This one will be his 19th season in the NBA. I guess he can still play and can still go.

Word has it that the 2017 NBA All-Star Game will have a new home. That home? Ever heard of... New Orleans, Louisiana? Yes. Pelicans' Country will host the All-Star Game. The All-Star Game all along was to be in Charlotte, but all the hoopla with House Bill 2 there screwed things up. So New Orleans (or to some, "Nawlins") get ready- you're getting some star power to play in your town when the All-Star Break comes.

How do you guys think Embiid will go after 2 years out injured with foot problems? I kind of hope he's healthy and able to help Simmons a lot, but I fear he may end up being another Greg Oden.

I feel sorry for the guy. One thing you hate to have happen to any athlete in any sport is to spend more time injured than playing and making a difference for your team. I certainly wish J. Embiid well.

Ben Simmons has been rated a 79 for the upcoming 2K17, seems about right given his shooting deficiency. Very interested to see what they give Thon Maker.

Damn man got me thinking about the Buddy + AD pick and roll combo

2k cheese right there

Kevin Garnett announced his retirement today. The Big Ticket is hanging it up after 21 seasons in the NBA. I wish him well in his retirement. Hall of Famer?

Guess fate wasn't a Miami Heat fan, who'd have guessed in 2011 that the Big 3 would have all moved on from Miami by 2016

It is a sad story, Omnis. Chris Bosh for his time in Miami was quite solid. I sympathize with Heat Nation on his career pretty much being over. He's only 32, so it isn't like he is some aging has-been. My best wishes moving forward are with Chris Bosh.

It is a real shame to see Chris Bosh in this situation. If he's healthy though and nobody else wants him (read: He'll take no money due to cap space), the Raptors sure could use a power forward.

Chris Bosh should take over Bill Simmons show after it gets cancelled

So they say that Ben Simmons has gained 15kg/35lbs since the end of college, and that Dellavedova will be a starter in place of the injured Middleton at the start of the season.
Does anyone else think the 76'ers training camp will be intense with Noel, Okafor, Embiid and Saric all fighting for playing time?

Tough break for Ben Simmons. His foot fracture injury has him out for reportedly three months. I'm sure this aches our Paulie to see Ben Simmons go down and be on the shelf for months. I wish him well in his recovery.

Devastated.👎 Thon Maker probably won't be playing for a few weeks yet either with a sprained wrist.

I read on CBS Sports Network's Bottom Line that Philadelphia 76er Elton Brand announced his retirement after 17 seasons. He's certainly been around. This is one of those times when players you sort of grown up with are retiring. I'd like to wish Elton Brand the best in his retirement.

[OMISSION] Elton Brand has played over 17 seasons since being drafted in 1999.
