Really sorry about this guys, but due to unforeseen circumstances I have had to push all gifts back a day, because I couldn't get on the PS3 all day yesterday, dad stuff.

So the level 0 ticket I will send now and the 67 ticket at next reset. Ok guys?

Giveaway #8 is also up! CLOSED!

This is a research question! (although some may already know this).

What is the closest planet to Earth that has (reportedly) liquid water on the surface.

First one to get it wins a TICKET 1000 after next reset. Start googling!

Also sent 67 ticket to TheAce!

Gliese 581 c

That is correct!

It's actually very far away, 20 light years. If we were to travel there at the same speed that Voyager 1 is travelling (the fastest man made thing ever made) then it would take roughly 87,000 years.

Science lesson over! Lol. Ticket 1000 will be in your gift box tomorrow morning!

2.Voyager 1 has three large radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs). Each RTG contains 24 pressed plutonium-238 oxide spheres. The heat from the spheres generated about 157 watts of electric power at the launch, with the remainder being dissipated as waste heat. Hence there was a total of about 470 watts of electric power provided by the three RTGs.

All correct! Although from question 2 you missed out that it actually uses planets gravity as a "boomerang" to throw itself onto the next.

Name your paints!

17 km/s and i'm guessing from what I read, its a mix of gravity assist by passing large plants/objects and solar wind assist? not only that but its 3 RTG engines totalling 420W and its travelled to the heliosphere and its anticipated to hit the intersellar medium between 2012-2015??? IDK, points for trying? Haha.

EDIT: DAMN, I actually had posted this up about 10-15 minutes ago, was just double veryfying my posts between wiki and google news articles.. ahh, oh well. Maybe the next challenge will see me success, at least I got to know about the Voyager 1 in the process xD I liked how they said something about that they have photos of earth and sounds incase they're ever found by aliens...
