@Krakenous And I'm sure there will be full tuning. I'm just saying it is not necessary. It was a nice thing to have in NFSU2 but I, personally, never used it. Not once. Ever. So I really don't care if it is in NFS15 or not...

Fair enough. I for one will be using it as much as possible to see just how much you can make the car feel different. I swear, this game got into my dreams lol, i thought i'd found footage of the cars driving and not being so slidey and looked fantastic, serves me right for staying up to 4am last night with the PC conference and the madness that insewed.

However, that whole "session starting in" thing is not a good sign...wait timers to join a race? Or...? On the race screenshot, it says it again, and again on each one...is it the amount of time online races have perhaps?
I'm pretty sure that is just for the E3 demo so people don't spend 30 minutes tuning their car and other people get to try the game too.

You wanna know why? You've done nothing so far to contribute anything worthwile to the thread. Its all been complaint after complaint after complaint and putting down a game that no one but people at E3 have played all while praising Turn10 for making a game you actually happen to like. The first semblance of a constructive criticism that came from you is saying what you want in the game like its what everyone wants and what the game needs to survive on the market. Just because Forza has it doesn't mean NFS needs it. In fact, I'll be willing to be that if they DID copy Forza, they'd get flack for it when it comes time for reviews. NFS is NFS and Forza is Forza. If you want Forza, then play Forza and leave it at that.

Oh right, what I found on Speedhunters doesn't help you very much either.

Look familiar?

Also @Krakenous, all of your posts seem to have been on this thread. If you like Forza so much, there is an entire forum here for Forza. Why go on at this game over and over and over again when there is the game you claim is much better able to be discussed?

I'm curious to see how it handles.

What we need now is a public demo. Since EA jipped us from seeing more during the conference, the least they can do (besides nothing) is release a public demo once all this E3 business blows over. But who knows; maybe they can make up for their poor showing at Gamescom. Anybody know when that is?

Anybody know when that is?
August 5th (well 6th for the public) to August 9th. I could try and go there to record some gameplay, but from what I've heard in the last few years, there are WAY too many people and it's hard even just to see where you're walking.

FH2 is NOT A SIM GAME! Not at all, what sim games do you know of where you can do 150+mph OFFROAD in an Ariel Atom? That's impossible you would barely be able to handle the car. Also...NFSU2 had a full tuning setup options, a test track, AND a dyno tuner, and that was an arcade game completely, so I've no idea what point you are making. My point is, customization both performance and visual needs tuning put in place with it, to make it complete.

FH2 is a simulator-based game that lets you do very un-simulator things.

Righty, back to NFS.

I would say its almost absolutely necessary. Not only is it going to make a massive difference in driving and gameplay, it'll also add more unseen individualism to everyone's car.

So in otherwords, it's conform to liking everything about the game, or gtfo? Rather shallow, no? He's discussing what he likes and doesn't like. He does seem to bring it up often and I can understand the frustration, but what you are doing is much worse, in my opinion.

Ok, so there's still time come then for NFS to redeem itself at that point. Till then we can only hope that they'll still be posting things here and there online.

👍 well said

Isn't there a better way of phrasing this without telling him to get lost? As infuriating as his posts may be(with the "praise T10 and all"), he is expressing his opinion about the game.

Did anybody else notice the nitrous drop immediately after the police chase started? As soon as the lens flares came on screen about half of it went away. Maybe some kind of way to increase the length of chases rather than just "nossing" right by them perhaps.

Better than GTA Police logic though.

Ya I saw that! Weird. Wondering how you get nitrous on this NFS. In UG2 you would get more by near misses, drifts, j turns, 180's, etc but in the e3 gameplay, nothing was making it go up

It actually was going up, but it was very progressive and not very quick. I thought at first that it didn't replenish but it really does if you pay close attention.

I'm on the forza forums. No need. Also, NFS doesn't have proper discussion forum anywhere else so, I choose here.

So I suppose it's like Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover then?

Very familiar. Those are all fair points made and I stand by them all until proven otherwise. Also, i've not done everything but put the game down, I at least praised the fact they have some tuning involved, thus far. Like i said, I will praise the stuff I like and criticize the stuff I don't. The only problem we have here is that you are consistant at disallowing my criticism just because I am saying what I dislike about the game, how would you like it everything you did or said i jumped at you for? You'd hate it, that's what you are doing to me.

Also the whole T10 stuff is an example, I had no idea you seem to be so anti respect for good developers here. You'd probably shoot me down if I spoke about positively about Codemasters making a great open world street racing game, or Slighty Mad Studios, or any company really. Simply giving a fair comparison between two developers is NOT me boot licking or master racing a dev and trolling, it's giving examples.

I have done nothing but voice my opinion and the more you try to push me away, disrespect me, disallow me to speak it, not engage in fair discussion and debate, the more and more I'll stay, and stand my ground and not be bullied out of my thoughts by you.

Your entitled to your thoughts, I disagree with yours, you disagree with mine, so maybe you could do the mature thing and ignore my posts, or engage in valid discussion and debate, after all that's what forums are for. That's the last I'll engage you if you persist with this ousting.

Now, back on topic maybe.

@ImaRobot thanks for actually backing me up. I realise i've gone on and on about what I dislike and I'll stop that now. I only feel it important to bring up and comment on what's new, and what comes up an if my opinions change, I'll voice them. At the moment I'm sorta 60/40 about it with the 60 being nope, time will tell if that changes.

So I suppose it's like Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover then?

As far as the rate it replenishes, it would seem so, but it doesn't replenish under normal driving. You still have to do the "stylish driving" in order for it to refill like Underground 2 (its just much slower).

Official Gameplay footage - same as E3 demo but in HD with a few seconds of a police chase after the drift attack event:

I haven't seen anything that would make the game require an internet connection.

For the gameplay video, anyone else notice the indicators and hazard lights being used?

Hazards yes, indicators no. It seemed to only happen when the car collided with something out of a race, so maybe its automatic. Not sure what purpose it would serve.

We haven't really seen much of anything, to be honest.

Geuss we'll find out if they have a purpose, perhaps to start a race with a player in Freeroam like Midnight Club?
