Too bad it took so long for the Time Saver DLC for Mods to come out.
Although, Most Wanted is a neat game, albeit a little too online-dependent, because you can only really enjoy the game if you're actually online and only actually enjoy the competition with "friends" or...whoever online if they're your real friends at your same Speed Points level or highly competitive, high-level (SP 71 Concours) strangers. One extreme of "friends" or the other. Not only that, but I'm still fond of old NFS (1994-2002), but a good amount (not all) of the newer ones after (2003-) are still very good as well, like this. If any of you want a passionately competitive NFS "friend" on Most Wanted on PS3/PSN like me who has 3,600,000 SP and a SP Level of 59 (and counting dramatically more when I get the Mod Savers and all the other DLC sometime this next month), friend request me on PSN (ID on the left). (BTW I don't use voice chat just so you know when I play online.)

What is my drift record there? I know I have over 10k yards at the cooling towers because NickSkyline was helping me get Pro mods & we just drifted for 30 minutes straight.

Yah my wife and I did that 80,000 yard drift insane I might have over 10,000 yards record not sure though I drifted around a plane in the Shelby GT500

I was drifting at 90MPH around the outside of the towers in the 1M Coupe. Just make a speedlist with the Speedtest Cooling Tower Drift for all 5 & just keep on drifting. Once the Speedlist is done take a breather.

For Ram Chassis Pro just do Around the World race about 8 to 10 times.

Precisely my view about online. I generally use a low end Exotic or a mid tier Sports car and just whip the competition because they can't drive their high end cars right. I only know about 4 people on my friends list that are actually good and competitive at this game.

Precisely my view about online.

I feel the same way, but it's not just the cars. It's their driving styles that tend to get to me as well. But in terms of cars, more often than not, I tend to see a Bugatti. I don't know, maybe Veyrons just seem commonplace in some of the Public games I go into. And most of them go for takedowns in an attempt to get everyone in the room (including myself) to do the same. I never go for takedowns, unless it's one of three cases:

* The challenge I'm in specifically calls for of them.
* Someone in the game is ramming into me and others.
* I start seeing "PLAYER_X takes PLAYER_Y down" quite a lot.

The last two reasons are why I think that one specific Challenge is near impossible to complete in a Public game; Mall Park. In order to complete it, all players in the room must jump on the roof of Bloomguard Mall. That would sound easy enough, except you later find out that all players in the room must be on said roof AT THE SAME TIME within 7 minutes and 30 seconds. Also, there's a little checkmark next to everyone's name. If it's visible, then they're on the roof of the Mall. But here's the catch: if you get pushed off the roof or you get taken down while on the roof, you respawn away from the roof and must jump on it again. This is going to require not going for takedowns and the ability to stand still, which some players do not have. Because of this mindset that some people have, that is the one Challenge I fear when in a Public game.

I tend to do the same as well every once in a while, with an Audi A1 or a Lamborghini Gallardo, for example. Being able to drive a Bugatti Veyron requires some high-speed control. And if I were to see someone competently driving a high-end Exotic, then..yeah, I'd whip out a Bugatti/Agera/etc. to give them some good oppoenents. If no-one in the room except you knows how to drive a high-end Exotic, then you have the ability to wreck the competition.

Instant Takedown is for scrubs. If you use it get out. It should only be use in Takedown challenges. Only legit use of it. How is it fair to someone that a wrecked retard using Instant Takedown gets smacked by someone else into your path resulting in you magically becoming a crushed can? If you're a big enough bitch to use such a cheap thing you deserve all bad things.

Probably the reason it's so cheap it's because it's so common...so common you could say it's "overrated". And after having been in a Public game with a group of 7 just a few minutes ago, I see what you mean. I was initially planning to use Hardened the whole way before I saw the first challenge was takedown-focused...might as well equip Instant Takedown for this one. And then everything started getting out of hand by event 2 or 3. This...what should I call it...chaos that I was right in the middle of hit its peak during the last challenge where we had to park on to of a container in the shipyard and run the clock up to 4 minutes. Despite the fact that more people on the container = faster completion of the challenge, almost everyone in the room was using Instant Takedown, and no one could go on the container without knocking everyone else off. Immediately after the Speedlist ended (I had 23 takedowns because I forced myself to use Instant Takedown throughout the entire speedlist because of the nature of the players in the room. And, the highest scorer had 49 takedowns at the end), I left the game because there's no way I'm sitting through that crap again. I also wish ill on whoever was driving the red Bugatti.👎

I personally think that Hardened and Speed Hunter (and maybe Carjacker) need a lot more recognition.

59 with the Bugatti Veyron, I was using Instant Takedown back then aswell. I agree that this "powerup" can be quite annoying but you have no idea when you are trying to help all the players in the speedlist with one objective and there is always one idiot who just thinks it's a good idea to takedown everywhere so to avoid getting takedown again and again and again and again I just act like them, I play fire with fire.

Instant Takedown should never be used. How come that OP **** lasts longer than the 100% more fair Hardened? It would be much much much more fair if it only lasted for 1 Takedown or 10 seconds then it would be just a minor inconvenience. Also I wish the host had the power in this game like BP did. In BP I kicked douche bags from my room & in this game I'd be using that option every minute. I would kick all IT, Veyron, Agera, & Venom users as soon as I see them drive past me.

Anyway, most takedowns I had in one Speedlist was around 55. I used the Raptor with all strength mods & Powershot. I just totally **** all over everyone since they all deserved it. They would hit me full speed & just bounce off like the maggots they were.

Maybe I should try the BMW. Don't have too much issues getting out of the lower heat levels, but if I pick a fight to get into the higher heat levels, I always seem to end up in heat level 6, and simply don't seem to manage to get out of it. Had pursuits over half an hour, and eventually always got busted.

The game hasn't froze for me since the patch. Now I still leave & rejoin rooms that are in progress of a speedlist. If all else fails complain to EA & demand money from them so you can get the PSN version of the game which is much more stable than the disc version.

How long do you play online? I usually play 2/3 hour sessions and now it always freezes when I exit in the middle or the end of the speedlist at the loading screen.
I don't faith that EA will give me money to buy the PSN version of the game (that is more like a refund and I am not interested in that) if after 4 months they still haven't fixed my issue that has been present since the release of the game, you might not remember a few months ago when I said that it was impossible to revert the 3 main triggers ( "cross", "square" and "circle") back to default. I talked with them in their live chat and they told me to wait for a game specialist in November (they never contacted me, EA incompetence), in January after lots of chats with them waiting for a fix they told me to contact my country support and so I did and they told me to wait 1 month for a response from them, 2 months later they still haven't contacted me nor did they have fixed this in the newest patch after lots of complains from me.

That one is glitched but you can still get it, go online and unlock a mod for any car then you will get your trophy.

It might be your system derping dude. When I had my Phat it would freeze a lot on many games but when I got a Slim the freezing became very rare. How old is your system & how much do you use it?

The problem is that I have a 120GB Slim so technically this shouldn't happen a lot. I have it since June/July 2010 and I usually use it for 2/3 hours straight, it depends on my free time.
Not sure if this matters but quite recently my PS3 has been making a very loud noise when it loads NFS Most Wanted in some areas.

There's your problem. BO2 does the same thing & it suffers from freezing. These newer games aren't good for these outdated systems.

The last bit is true but dude, since release I never experienced these problems. It only started to happen after the newest patch/dlc, if you play for a long time in a speedlist for some reason the game freezes in the loading screen
