1. Carrol Shelby is dead so he don't care anymore.
2. CG could of easily & legally made the GT500 look exactly like Eleanor. You can't trademark/own rights to the way vehicles look. If that was the case all car brands would be suing each other constantly.
Nope, I am right. What happened with HP2 sealed the deal on EA's & Ferrari's relationship. We haven't seen 1, count them, Ferrari in an EA game since High Stakes. (besides for Shift but that was because of Xbox's big big wallet) Car Customization has nothing to do with it. High Stakes had a little, GT5 has a little, Forza has it & Ferrari didn't car with those games. Oh, TDU2 has nothing to do with EA so why bring it up?

Last game was HP2 and Ferrari pulled out because EA asked them to when the Underground Series came rearing it's head. Ferrari saw what they did to the cars and wanted no part when MW (2005) came out. AND TDU2 is an example of Ferrari's being put into games with cops. It doesn't have customization to NFS levels. That's what Ferrari doesn't like.Checkmate. Don't challenge me again.(BTW Part of trademarks lie with the movie company and other members of the car company)

The BMW M3 GTR is severely out classed by the other 3 in it's class except for the Weight & Toughness department.
 
If Ferrari doesn't like customization, why were they OK with PD letting players fit bodykits, new wheels and paintjobs in GT5? Not to mention all the performance upgrades.
 
**** You EA. Thank you for corrupting my savefile with hundreds of hours invested, that's it. Once i'm done with the DLC I will neverr play this game again :ouch:
 
But I have good news too, I have a copy of my savefile from this afternoon and guess what? Somehow their could servers saved all my multiplayer progress moments before my savefile got corrupted.

From what I remember I thought their cloud servers only have stored there our speedpoints, that's why I found it wierd to didn't lost anything even thought my previous savefile is from 6 hours ago so technically I should have lost this 6 hours of progress. Don't forget that the game frooze at the same time that it was auto-saving.
 
EA is taking a note from COD by saving all mutliplayer crap to the servers also my file never corrupted & it froze while saving a few times.
 
Count me in as one of the victims of a corrupted saved game. For me it happened last month just as I was about to take a break from the game. Considering I experienced freezing on a regular basis weeks before it corrupted, I realized it was only a matter of time until it would happen.

Yes, your online progression saves on their servers including SP, speedwall records, and so on. I checked out of curiosity before copying my backup save. Still, the incident has left me feeling bitter about the game and EA's overall support.

Warning to all: If you aren't regularly making backups then you're risking your singleplayer progression.

Okay thats what I was thinking, only thing it has is speed and weight. My friends were saying thats it's OP because i refused to die in it/made incredible comebacks.

Same with Forza, Ferrari lets them pass as it's in a racing/professional environment. Forza only allows aero upgrades. Now you're going to say Horizon but in that still only Aero upgrades.
 
But in Forza you can cover the car in genitalia... I saw a Ferrari from one of the Forza's covered with dicks. :lol:
 
I've had my single player wiped three times now. Good thing it keeps multiplayer cause I could care less about single player. I've completed everything already, so I already had the single player experience. No need to do it again because it shows I've done nothing.

Although resetting the billboards, gates, and cameras is getting annoying.

So you are saying if you have a corrupt save file and assuming you choose to "start from the beginning", the game will still record the license plates, cars and mods that you unlocked??? (I am completely aware that the game saves the speedpoints, the rest I just want to be sure).
 
It's just like COD now, trust me.

Anyway, is anyone else having the glitch where your license plate is reverting back to Start Me Up? Every time I start my game up & go to MP it's back to that plate. :indiff:

Happens to me also i got fed up with changing my plate every time I went online đź‘Ž

Hot Pursuit 2's servers been shut down for years now. Only private ran servers work for the PC version.

I think they are talking about the Hot Pursuit that Criterion did 2 or 3 years back.

You don't get to choose. As soon as you start the game you have to watch the long intro, drive to the Porsche, listen to the narrator talk for five minutes, win the first race, then listen for another five minutes.

All multiplayer progress and autolog records are saved to Origin. All single player progress is lost. All the billboards, cameras, and events will still have your records, but you have to find them to see it.
Everything in multiplayer that you've unlocked will say NEW, so remember what new mods, cars, paint, and licence plates you actually got before the game freeze.
Every car will also go back to stock, so I recommend you start a friend lobby and set all the cars you're currently driving (at least one per class) back to normal.
