Well Im just trying to finish up all the cars again, with the 3 extra races, as I start looking at it more and more while they said that there was nothing wrong with my speedpoints as I continue to play I am earning more and more that I lost.

Edit. After playing more finishing up all the cars again I did notice something. Either I'm going crazy or I am gaining 85k speedpoints per reset of game. My profile says one and my calculations say another. Lol. Free points sure why not.

Edit2. My game is broken again... First not getting speedpoints for completing events, now gaining speedpoints for nothing?

It's not broken it's a known glitch. You are earning the speedpoints you should be getting later. Autolog screws up, takes your Speedpoints & gives them back randomly.

It's not broken it's a known glitch. You are earning the speedpoints you should be getting later. Autolog screws up, takes your Speedpoints & gives them back randomly.

If it was for any mods that I am supposed to get (due to mod pack) then I could see that but I do know that if you had a previous car unlocked and run the miles you won't get the speedpoints from that but I do get it with a new car though. Hmm?

By the way, mine doesn't revert back (it might when I go back online again)...I have to change my License Plate manually for the most part.

If we were to get together and do a session of this, here's some new rules I suggested:

- Instant Takedown and Speed Hunter are not allowed. Carjacker and Hardened are fine to use but not the other 2.

- Do not hide on top of the plane wing.

Also, I think it's a bit late to suggest this, but perhaps we could make our own Most Wanted Test Track at the new airport area in the style of Top Gear.

So, I've got what to a lot of people probably is a very silly issue, but it annoys me nevertheless. The overall gold for the Lancia simply won't stick, like it does for all the other cars. Got gold in all events, and if I change into the Lancia, and look at the car listing, I can see the overall gold pop up, I change into another car, check again, and it's gone again. The Lancia is the only car this applies to. I've searched the web, but I simply can't find any solutions or workarounds, like I did for the missing short gears and aero body for the Jaguar. So, does anyone else have this problem, and does anyone know whether there's a fix?

Yes, I know, it's a silly little thing that shouldn't even matter to me, but IT DOES annoy me, and I'd much prefer not to be annoyed.

I have the same problem with the Jaguar, it has that gold line on the car in the selection menu but I don't have those two mods even though I did the race multiple times.

My issue with the Lancia is that it doesn't have the gold line, even though I've got gold in all the events.

I've had the issue with the missing short gears and aero for the Jaguar as well, but I've found a solution for that one. The problem is that after you've installed the Multiplayer Update 2 or the according DLC, gold in the Burning Rubber event doesn't give you short gears and aero anymore, it gives you the ram chassis, so there are now two events which give you the ram chassis and none give you short gears or aero.

What you need to do if you desperately want this fixed, is temporarily uninstall the Multiplayer Update 2 or the according DLC, then decline the update and play without it. You'll get short gears and aero back.

Now, before you re-install the update, you need to make sure you unlock both pro mods, otherwise, they'll be gone again after you re-install the update. The pro mods, however, remain, as these aren't tied to the Burning Rubber event.

And yes, it's quite a bit of effort if you need to uninstall and re-install the according game data, though there's a shortcut if your game save and your game data are in different locations, as you can just temporarily unplug the game data, if applicable, instead of removing and re-installing it. Worked for me on my XBox with game save on internal memory and game data on external drive.

Edit: And no, I didn't see any issues with my game save after re-installing the update, all progress was still there, even the stuff you need the update for.

At least you can easily display the plate. trophies are meaningless waste of HDD/server space.

Personally I just want to finish off these last batch of DLC's plates, then I'm dropping this game for good unless Criterion fixes up the random freezes. It's just far too frustrating to play online when you need to reset the console every half hour Seems like for every problem they solve with a patch another five comes up.

I never get any of the tech issues mentioned by various people in this thread. Particularly people think the disc version is worse but I don't see any logic in saying this. For me, it has never frozen once except for when concours was glitched. Also, a digital version wasn't on the cards for me. Sony wanted $60 for the PSN version, and a disc version at Blockbuster was $40. (If the PS4 is going to succeed, Sony need to pull their act on pricing of digital content, I swear it should be cheaper, not more expensive). Anyway, I'm almost done with this game. Unless theres more DLC or AOS revives EOTW, theres little in this game aside for an occasional online game. Shame really, I thought this would have as much playablity as Burnout Paradise, but I guess I hoped a little too much.

Did you tried the Smash and Grab events in single player? Some of them are going to annoy you a lot because they freeze the console a few seconds before you finish the event

Digital version runs smoother because it does have to read from a disc so less freezes also in the USA the digital version costs the same or less but rarely for the ladder.

Highly HIGHLY doubt it's a NFS game or FULL Burnout game. It's probably another mid-entry (w/e you call it) type deal like Burnout CRASH!. This is going off that they just released MW last year & that Ghost has a NFS coming out later this year.
