Slight waste of a license to model the cars if they don't behave like them.

I suppose it adds some credibility.

Am I the only one who thinks it looks like an Acura Legend? I know the game wont have this car, but still, it really looks like one!

If this is anything like Hot Pursuit, considered it purchased. If its anything like The Run, considered it ignored..

i hope the driving physic like the run i loved the physic but the bad is hard to turn and once drift u will lost speed.. form thhe gameplay video one the drift simmilar to the hot pursuit..cant wait for this game..

I like the damage on that 911, with chunks of the bumper ripped off.

Also the grey car being blocked by the Pagani Iwaspukingwhiledecidingthename looks very much like an M3 GTR. And call me crazy but I think it has the Most Wanted livery. You can see the blue wheel vinyl on the bonnet and on the wheel arches. :D

Looks like an M3 GTR to me too, the wing mirrors are the right shape if nothing else...

I do hope this isn't just an advert, as in the entire game I mean. I get that feeling with Hot Pursuit anyway, there's not a single car that wasn't on sale when the game came out from what I've seen (I must admit, I've only unlocked the lowest tier of cars so I may be wrong). I'd like some classics as well as new stuff, obviously I'd never dream of asking for more than a handful of the most iconic cars but even so, if they're all brand new cars it just feels like I'm driving a catalogue. Of course that's kind of the point from the manufacturers' perspective but, yeah, I think you know what I mean.

Yep, it looks like the M3 GTR. It has the silver bits and the spoiler (Seen through rear window). It'll probably be car driven by Blacklist 1. Of course, if it is indeed the M3 GTR, it needs the sound heard in the E3 2005 Trailer.

It's been said already but yes that car is infact the famous BMW M3 GTR with the unique decal.

Whoa! Never heard of the new NFS:Most Wanted until now. From what I'm seeing, it looks arcade-y. But please, let there be car customization in this one. If it does, I'll consider buying it. :dopey:

oh yes. The ever-iconic BMW M3 GTR Race Car from Carbon and the original Most Wanted. Me want so bad. :D I see the car has become heavily linked to the phrase "Most Wanted", as seen in Carbon. To unlock the M3, you have to complete 4 challenges, one of them is called "Most Wanted", and is completed by raising your Heat Level to 5 and escaping the pursuit. 👍👍

The previews from a few days ago also suggest that the game is not quite finished and there is only roughly 3 months left. This worries me a little.

Anyways, with the ole M3 GTR back, is there a chance some classic pre-HP2 music could slip in? Just like Paradise...

Now I wonder if EA will still force 1 NFS release per year. As B-Box's effort was a not-so-well reviewed mess, how many other racing game studios can EA select to develop? I hope Criterion does not face a burnout (lol) of their own.

Also wonder if any more Shifts will be released as it could have become the Forza/GT of the PC world if a little more time and effort was put in.

I have a feeling that next week EA is going to officially announce the return of the BMW M3 GTR, today they started with Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series and we can expect more german car reveals until Gamescom.

No more staring longingly at greyed-out shiny Ferraris in unlock menus. No more accumulating XP or cash or whatever other arbitrary value for 10 or 30 or 35 hours before you’re allowed to drive the cars that everybody actually wants to drive. There’s just you, the cops, and a secret-packed urban playground designed for absurd driving. And, via an updated and improved version of Autolog, the constant presence of all your friends.

hmm no unlock cars..hmm

I believe one of the previews said that there are 40 cars hidden around the open-world while 10 are won from the new blacklist.

I think it also said that mods for each particular car are unlocked only when you use them and that each car has unique events.

SLS AMG coupe confirmed too, though I hope they rendered the correct double 5 spoke wheels this time as the ones in HP2010 and Run looked like they were from an S65 AMG. (Different offset, curvature of spokes etc)

Left-hand drive Caterham? This game just looks worse and worse the more I see, EA definitely aren't winning me back with this title.

Yup, that's right.

Basically, as you’re tearing around the streets of fictional Fairhaven City, you’ll need to keep a look out for new cars. Once you spot a car that you’ve yet to unlock, you can hit a button and begin using it straight away. Alternatively you can tag its location on your map and then come back and fetch it later. It’s a novel approach to expanding your list of vehicles, and it promotes players exploring the expansive setting.

In total, there are 40 cars to collect in this manner. The more you use each of the cars, the more upgrades you’ll be able to unlock. What’s more, each of the cars will have specific race events tied to it, kind of like the manufacturer events found in the recent Forza 4.

Only 40 cars?...

Its more than Most Wanted 1. There were 32 cars you could buy in the car lot. 1 car won from the final pursuit (BMW M3 GTR), two won from challenges (SL65 AMG and 911 GT2), one for beating Razor (Chevrolet Corvette C6.R) and two for buying the Black Edition (BMW M3 GTR and Camaro SS). This is a total of 38 cars.
