Anyone else excited for the 12 player co-op objectives? (post #411) Burnout Paradise had 8 player co-op but wow 12 players doing co-op objectives will be insane. Could be a pain too.
What kind of co-op objectives did Burnout Paradise have?
About 350 different kinds. There were 2, 3 ,4 ,5, 6, 7 and 8 player co-op objectives. One example is shown in the Most Wanted multiplayer teaser video. And that shows 12 players. Line up a certain amount of cars and then the last car jumps over all of them. The co-op modes in Burnout Paradise were VERY fun. Other examples included having all the players jump through a billboard or jump a bridge backward, or drift at the same time, powerpark between cars, do donuts, drive into oncoming traffic, or complete a certain jump a set amount of times. They were incredibly fun. ANd yes required 100% teamwork. If 1 person did not cooperate, the objective would never be completed. So getting 12 players to do it in MW2012 could be a challenge in itself. What kind of co-op objectives did Burnout Paradise have?
I know that but from what I heard HP was supposed to have it but they didn't included it because they didn't had time.I highly doubt there will be a cockpit view. Which is fine since this is 100% arcade racer. As beautiful as Burnout Paradise was, I am sure this will also be stunning. Hot Pursuit also looked very good. (also made by Criterion)

Landing (X) air time to jumping over (X) Jump (X) times cooperative or individual.
Will keep me playing longer, but it will also mean more frustration because that means I'm going to encounter more dummies who can't read instructions or learn from mistakes.
One I hated the most was getting Aerial Near Misses, because people would never time themselves correctly.
EA just updated the official site and I see a Gallardo Spyder Performante and a Focus RS. Not sure how to directly link those pictures though.
wickenAnd thank you for confirming that Gallardo for me.
The car list that I am doing.
Holy crap, anyone heard the engine sounds for the cars at the Gamescom press conference?

To me, this is a serious competitor for Forza Horizon.
I ain't watching, can't on the PS3. Any sign of the BMW M3 GTR or Cross' C6 Vette??
NFS doesn't have cockpits but Forza Horizon does. I'm leaning more for Forza for it's IBL and 200 car count, but I might get NFS for Christmas or something.
Saw neither of those unfourtanetly, the game preview ended rather quickly. All I saw was a Lexus LFA, C6 Corvette, and a Maserati.
So for you NFS is only good if it was cockpits and more than 200cars? If it was a simulation I would agree but it isn't and why the passion for thousands of cars when you only use +/- 50 of them?NFS doesn't have cockpits but Forza Horizon does. The last I saw of this they were knocking down lamposts like matchsticks. Kinda turned me off it.
I should have put TDU1 / TDU2. But anyway I used that as an example of what Forza Horizon is trying to copy. And from what I have seen of Horizon, they are not even close to the TDU1 / TDU2 games. Again we will see.TDU 2?
Shouden was raving about the physics on that one.
That alone was enough for me to pass on it.

AOS-I still don't know why this bugs you to no end.
