some more PC footage to torture us!!! say does all this footage spoil the game? : )
i love what Criterion has done with the the lighting.

I'd go with the PC version in a heart beat if the people I know would also and there wasn't the damn trophies. At least the PS3 version will still look good but we're seeing the PC version at 1080p (or higher) running at 60fps with more cars and visual effects makes me anticipate the jump to next gen when it starts next year so I could get on board a year or two later. :sly: That is unless the consoles turn out to be subpar performance wise. I might just become a primarily PC gamer. :nervous:

The Vita footage was kinda "meh" to me, not going to comment on the driving of the people who took the videos, the lighting in that place probably made it a bit of a pain in the ass to see everything due to glare/reflection just as it did to watch in spots. Need more footage in a more normal lighting setting.

Well the PC version takes advantage of DX11, I think its a first for Criterion.
So this is a taste of what next gen will bring us.

It looks like were not going to get a demo tomorrow, Im sure we
would have heard by now, right? :ouch:

Demo's take away from the production time of the game. I rather have no demo if it means a good solid game at launch.

Really surprises me there is no demo for this. Burnout Paradise and Hot Pursuit both had demos. The Burnout Paradise demo was actually very very good too. 8 player co-op online. Really looking forward to Most Wanted 2012 in 2 weeks.

Really good video. I guess there will actually be some sort of upgrades for the cars. You can customize on the fly. Impact protection, track tires, lightweight chassis, longer gears for transmission, nitros, paint packs, custom license plates , and more

There's this German guy's channel that has a bunch of gameplay videos. Haven't watched them because at this point I've spoiled far too much for myself, so not planning to.

Here's one of his vids, not sure if it's been posted yet. Or just check out NFSPlanetIT's YT channel, they both seem to have the same EA Pre-Release Event vids.

Not really the gameplay that you are looking for but in this video they drive the real car and then compare them in game. (They will upload more videos of the cars until the release date)

I wonder if the NFS logo there is a special edition of that car (making my statement true about the 137 jack spots althought that is multiplayer and not single-player).

Can drive? Is that some kind of joke?

Anyway, I like that we got colours to choose from. Was paranoid we had to rely on spray booths only.

You know what I mean, when I watched the previous videos of the pre-release event those guys would just go through a corner without braking, always crashing. I know that the guy who has playing in that video isn't perfect but oh well, at least he is a lot better than the others.

He was going to make a turn into that dirt slope onto the highway, sees an oncoming car and instead of driving around it, he drives into it. There's a van driving perpendicular to his direction, hits it, and instead or driving around, he drags the van with him to the wall.

Neato! I loved the NFS editions in Hot Pursuit 2.

I hope there is some sort of incentive to not drive the NFS editions...like maybe having only one colour or something, because if it has everything the regular versions have and more, then the regulars are obsolete.

From what I see here there is a small difference between the two, one of them has a higher off road percentage.

That's neat. It'd be hella cool if NFS editions got varying buffs in one field so they become unique.

Actually, I don't like how they put Offroad as a level. I was expecting it to be a spectrum where slicks are the best for tarmac and off-road for the dirt, and each tire sucks in its opposite field... If that didn't matter, then does that mean off-road tires can match slicks on tarmac? I sure hope not.

I really hope the NFS Editions come in a special livery or color like they did in HP2. (the pink F50 & the Corvette livery as examples) Also wouldn't mind the MINOR performance buff to.

forza horizon is just highways and races on a road and no cops this most wanteds better

Oh so you've played both games extensively to be able to tell someone that Most Wanted is better than Forza.

That NFS Edition also has more accel and top speed. I believe the NFS Edition is your reward for completing all challenges for a car.(Online) Kinda don't like the idea as it will make the standards obsolete thus creating more underused/nevertouched cars.
