There's what? 61 races including the cop chases. It'll take over a year to run it if it's weekly plus 2 weeks is boring. All action dies after the 1st week.

Does anyone know if the latest patch fixed the horrid frame rate issues on the PC version? The game is pretty much unplayable until that gets fixed.

Chiochan, this isn't an online competition were setting up. Online is too much of a hassle with timezones and individual schedules. It's meant to be a form of competition that doesn't require the scene to be live, so that everyone can participate at their own leisure or availability.

Hmm.. that is true. Scratch 2 weeks then.

i've just notice, after many hours of (offline) play that during escape sequence with police chase (the part were your out of range and your level is decreasing), if you are able to stop and turn off engine (& lights), the chase level decrease twice faster. Don't know if everyone knows that. I did turn engine off in dark passage a few times before, but havent notice the jauge effect.

Ok my copy of Most Wanted came today. I have a question for you all. I've done one race so far and I find it hard to tell where to go in the race. If I wasn't leading, I'd just follow the guy in front of me, but when I'm leading how do I easily tell where to turn and such?

The map...

This might sound strange but any of you get pain in your hands from playing? My hands hurts after keeping my index finger
Pressed on the trigger for long periods. I think I might have carpal tunnel. :(

My brother has it for PC as well, seems that the patch had nothing to do with fixing the frame rate. So he's been having the same issue.

Still trying to find someone to fix my PS3... :banghead:

You can change the control layout on the PS3 version right? If so, you could try changing the throttle button to something that will be more comfortable for you to use for long periods of time.

I haven't downloaded any updates; just the game. Runs fine for me.

I've played HP2010 for a year and I haven't had any problems. I think you're squeezing the remote too tightly from excitement.

You know I thought of that when I got the game, unfortunately changing throttle to R3 Up and brakes R3 down won't work because to start an event you are required to hold the buttons in those directions which is impossible.

Been playing the game for awhile now, and the sounds! My God! I went screaming through a tunnel with the Lamborghini Gallerdo Spyder. That V10 echoing off the walls was amazing! I can only imagine how it'd sound on a high end system./

Will give it a go tonight.

Sounds like my kind of competition, it's exactly what I love about Autolog too. 👍

I try not to look at the map, since that makes me crash. Instead, I just run it two or three times first so I know the layout. After that it's easy.

Try not to put a whole lot of pressure on, it's not necessary. Let the controller simply lay in your hand instead of tightly clutching it.

I have being using a Yellow Counterfit DS3 from around 7 months ago and I'm going to invest in a real Sony one (Reluctant) because even though the controller is fantastic the rear triggers are pretty stiff. 👍

I had a sudden and high pain from a finger (the one i use on accel) 9 days ago, while i didn't have play for several hours to Forza Horizon. I though it could have been related to FH i've played a lot during two weeks then. Pain reduced after two days, but stay at the same (slight) intensity for a week now, and spread to an other finger (the one i use since on mouse and accel trigger, now on MW).

I wouldn't call it horrible. It's not, but it's got little substance.

Just stay in this thread and stay tuned for weekly competition I just might be willing to host... or co-host with some other people here. Volunteers?
It would be allright if it weren't for pre-challenge takedowns or any of that crap, which in my opinion are really hurting multiplayer. Many times, they make no sense at all. It's rather frustrating.

Also, what's up with the servers? I know you guys had some problem before but I thought they resolved them. I'm getting disconnected pretty frequently.

The promotion of takedowns keeps the masses playing actually. It's the minority that has matured beyond braindead activity such as that. Also because of requirements to unlock stuff like certain pro mods and paints, you need to take down others.

Lastly, I seem to have found all the cameras now, and the SRT Viper is SO slow around corners.

Sounds nice indeed, but that can't justify how slow it is at cornering. Any of the hatches in this game can out-corner it.

The sound in MW is amazing. PD could learn a lot from them.

This times 1000. I just cruise around in the Impreza just to hear the BOV chirp away when I let off the throttle. :D And blasting through tunnels makes me wish I had surround sound.

Origin downloads updates automatically.

The latest patch makes the frame rate better, but when I hit higher speeds it drops pretty bad. I know it's not my graphics card either since it can run just about every other game I have on the highest setting without an issue.

So, need to go pick up my PS3 copy. How is it? I mean, is the game actually pretty good? Quite a few of my friends have it & love it. I watched the gameplay & it looks cool. But, is it fun/worth the money because I really want a good game to play

Played quite a bit of NFS today, mostly trying to beat Gtuned's one-up of my pursuit record in a Viper.
Aaaaand that led to being arrested twice, once due to flats and not having reinflates and the other because I was stupid and thought I could take on a lamp post.

And multiplayer seems flawed in a sense that pretty soon, everyone starts using the same few cars (Veyron SS, Aventador and the such). Though autolog has actually made the game nicer on a whole. :)
