Wonder if PD's been holding back content in order to bundle up a "spec 2" with the launch of the revised PS5 in early Nov.

I already suggested this, or rather, wishlisted it (#96). It would be one of the things that make me upgrade to PS5 without further waiting (for a PS5 Pro or whatever).

id like to have a team of B Spec Bob’s & take on other teams in enduros 🤙🏼🚗💨
We used to do this. In one game (GT6 I think?) you could set up your driver(s) for a different daily race. Then you could monitor it on your computer (or on your TV if you happen to be at home) and see how you did. This was your B-Spec driver vs. other player's B-Spec drivers.

The names were pre-generated with a first initial and a last name. Many of us would fill in the initial of our favorite person/character for fun. Some of mine were Inigo Montoya, Enzo Ferrari, Michael Knight and Bruce Lee.

Those were the days . . .

It wouldn't be the daftest idea for them to do that, it'd be nice to have some idea of what updates we're getting and when, more than a few days before they release.
Christmas is near too... So, its not necesary in that way

When will this meal be ready for consumption? :P

Always tomorrow.

I wouldn't be against a Spec II update that dropped 1:1 support for the ps4 . They already kind of did that with the Sophy stuff.
What interest me is what PD did with sport , they added lots of track layout variations and weather but have only done so twice here.
There is code for Trail mountain wet and Deep forest wet , i forget which of the two have actual puddles.

Pd could do so much with so little.

Imagine they just gave every other race a chili pepper variant with grid starts and brutal AI . Would give the game 33% more races with minimal effort and good racing all in one .

Don't need to drop ps4 support to achieve any of that.
