What's fantastic about the track getting wet 30 seconds into raining and then getting dry 5 minutes later?

It would be fantastic if it wasn't sped up like 10x. Cause right now it only makes me hate the dynamic weather system.
I agree that the weather is too quick to change, but it’s not like we have long races to take advantage of real time changes.

The Toyota Cup Circuit de la Sarthe and recent Nurburgring Manu Cup races have been some of the best weather races we’ve had and been praised by many on here. I personally enjoyed the Toyota Cup race the most so far. The rain and pit strategy made a huge impact on how each player’s race turned out.

Spa 1 hour race have pretty decent weather changes. I would welcom weather on more tracks. It could be awesome.

So, bit less than a day until we know for sure if the update is within the regular schedule or not? Maintenance notice should be posted around that time, I think

2 days - the update notice (and for content updates, gran-turismo.com and YouTube channel hype) typically show up the morning (Western Hemisphere time) before said update. That would make it Wednesday.

Good to know. I still think early november update will make sense for PD. They can naturally make early december (before holiday) update.

But wasn't the update notice always one day before articles and a trailer? And then an article and a trailer one day before the actual update. Which would make it Tuesday for a notice, Wednesday for an article and a trailer, if an update is on Thursday. I can be completely wrong about this though and just remember things wrong.

The maintenance notice for content updates goes up after the silhouettes* and before the official trailer drop, but does not itself have a standard timeslot that people expect it to show up at.

*I don't remember if this was true for the SF update where the silhouettes were late, but it has been true for every other update.

Manu Cup round 1 handled rain perfectly, in my opinion. I would be a very happy lad if it was handled the same way in every race.

That's the way it had been initially. If memory serves, the notice and hype both dropped the day before the last few.

What exactly is the point of trying to predict ANYTHING?

Ego? Gloating rights? A quest to legitimise a fortune-telling business?

I'm sorry, I just don't get it.

He is the black sheep of his psychic fam jam. His mom and sister have psychic hotlines, and his father is a remote viewer for the CIA. Very successful. They are angry he is squandering his abilities on this seemingly fruitless venture. You figure they would have seen it coming?

I wonder what ever happened to the B spec mode modders found like a year ago. I have seen the videos and Sony did take downs on 99% of them but one is still up.
There is a B spec Debug menu which allows you to spectate your driver doing a race.

Interesting the B-Spec Bob is using full throttle. Something the AI should be doing in Custom Races. However, throttle input wouldn’t matter if there are opponent aggressiveness and speed settings.

Maybe introduced at the same time as endurance races is my guess.

Nothing happened to it, B-Spec is just the name of the debug option that lets an AI control your car so you can spectate a race whilst testing instead of having to do it all yourself.
It's not a feature or mode.

Cool, thanks!

And pardon my ignorance, but why do people want this?
Because it helps grind while not having to pay attention to the game. Other than that the gameplay was pretty minimal. I like racing management games but GT isn't a good place for that kind of gameplay.

I’ll speak for myself. I love Gran Turismo replays. It’s why I been playing this franchise from the start.
I’d like to see a return because, I watch real world racing. Having this feature in a game, I can then watch the Custom Races I made, in real time. Rather than just do the race myself and watch the replay after.

Other than that, it’s a good feature for those long races in the past games. Plus, it’s like being a race engineer managing a driver. Players get to see and try racing, from a different view.

Mainly for the RPG elements of leveling up your driver or team of drivers. Sometimes you don't want the intensity of driving yourself, you want a more chill management experience instead. Also, those older games had 24 hour endurance races which were brutal do race by hand. With B-spec, you could either be a manager for the entire race, or you could switch at pit stops between A-spec and B-spec, so you could get up and take a break while your driver drives for you.

It was a really excellent feature and probably one of the most requested features for GT7.

I think with some effort it could be fantastic. Especially now with weather included in most gameplay

Thanks for all the input! It sounds kind of interesting, but being new to GT I must admit that it wouldn't be a priority for me personally. That being said, it doesn't sound like it would be a major headache to include such a feature so I hope they do for everyone else's sake. :)
