VGT has been a thing realistically since Nike One 2022. So further of them shouldn't be an issue. Though that Nissan is giving me flashbacks to the Ford GT90 and that's a verybad thing

I like many tracks created by PDI, but this one I don't think.

That's Special Stage Route X, a track created by PD that has been in the series since GT5. How does this look like we're going to have a new course maker? Geniune question.

It's the extended map textured in GT4/5 but we have only had IFAIK the loop portion.

I don't think he realised what he was looking at in the context it was presented and made some assumptions/positive thinking assertions based on that.

That's what he was referring to and that's not in GT7 (and according to https://gran-turismo.fandom.com it hasn't been in any GT)

That's what we have in GT7. I also wouldn't have realized the connection here. With all the twists and turns I can understand why he thought that it could hint to a track editor.

The layout has technically been in the series since GT5, just it has been in an unusable state by the player. No one knows if PD secretly use it to test cars, but I wouldn't doubt it if they did at some point (in GT5/6 days maybe?).

sure looks like mugello..with all great f1 names on time board??

After driving LMP1 cars in GT7 and Forza Motorsport I'd say the most important update to GT7 would be to get rid of the 65+ degree look at my nice cockpit display and replace it with the Forza 45 degree look at the road display.

And replace their F1-like downforce in GT7 by actual LMP1 performances.

You don't like it when the steering wheel covers your entire view of the road when you turn it?
 
So, can we asume Kaz left the so called mega update in the oven and it caught fire?

We can assume they are basting the Christmas turkey.

Or we can assume and update is gonna land at some point being a live service game.

I assume they are waiting for the time trials to lapse before an update to remove complexity.

I also imagine the sport mode connection fix had knock on effects as trivial as it looked
 
Alexander Wurz said that an LMP1 with minimum downforce for Le Mans had more downforce than F1 ran at Monaco.
Yeah the LMPs have a lot more bodywork for the air to suck on. I'm not sure it's still true with the mandatory 4:1 lift:drag ratio in LMH though.

I've thought about this as well.

As the group C cars seem to brake those rules but then don't sometimes. It's a bit weird.

The LMPs should be dual class though as in race spec there are definitely two classes/categories of car
