I've thought about this as well.

As the group C cars seem to brake those rules but then don't sometimes. It's a bit weird.

The LMPs should be dual class though as in race spec there are definitely two classes/categories of car
More than two at this point. Just considering the real cars, we've got Group C, Hybrid AWD LMP1 (Audi Porsche Toyota), non-hybrid RWD LMP1 Pug Audi and Toyota, Hybrid AWD LMH Toyota (presumably at least a few more to come, given its the current top class prototype?) and the FWD Nissan POS. I might even be missing one or two. But sadly most of the time they just make a race "Group 1" and there's one or two obvious meta cars.

Alexander Wurz said that an LMP1 with minimum downforce for Le Mans had more downforce than F1 ran at Monaco.
Then that is even worse. The 919 / TS040-50 / R18 were able to reach 260 km/h in the Porsche curve, when the Peugeot 908 can in GT7 reach 300, no braking needed... How accurate!

They are all too slow into the straight lines and damn too quick in high speed curves.

You're going to have to provide a (reliable) source for that claim. It's been debunked multiple times and just isn't true.
Yeah I googled it and it seems it is fake , I just remember reading it on Yahoo news about 5 years ago that some people claimed the photos depicting what appeared to be gophers or rats were from a island . What I do remember from that article was them explaining how a white balanced picture was wrong and how NASA calculates color gradients using a color table on the rovers and then showing the correctly graded orange pictures and the white balanced pictures which made mars seem like a desert with dark sand .

They pretty much explained why their pictures have a " orange tint" to them easily removable in any basic software by demonstrating how they color scale.

I think they are a lot heavier though as they still don't lap as fast as F1 cars. Even the special Porsche 919 with closed panels, DRS and unrestricted engines was not much faster than Hamiltons Mercedes at Spa (fact it was is still awesome)

If it's Sophy related, I really hope it's more than just a handful of specific events. A career or championship mode with Sophy would be great, and ideally something for custom races, though I think that's unlikely.
No one has said Sophy may replace the AI completely so we can start again if we want to. Doesn't anyone think this is a possibility?

please kaz... show us silhouettes. Not because of update but i dpn't want to read all those doom and gloom posts about GT7 xD
Knowing how awfully awkard PD communication is I wouldn't be surprised if Kaz doesn't show any silhouette image and we just learn about the update by the maintenance post just for the "surprise" factor 🤭🤭🤭

This is one of my theories...

What if this BIG update is somekind of spec 2 update or something nice, and they won't post Kaz silouethes but a bigger trailer closer too launch. This is possible...

Kaz has abandoned us 😭😭😭

You think those will stop after Kaz tweets some silhouettes?

(all this time Kaz is actually reading all these missives in this thread and laughing quietly to himself)

Biggest giveaway for me (Apart from the font choice) is the naming convention for the Porsche. Its officially the 911 GT1-98, not not just 911 GT1 like they listed it there.

Actually it should be "911 GT1 Evo 1998", I Guess, and the font he said is actually the same, if not, too similar as the one PD uses 👍

Also, lightning wise, it does seem too similar to GT7's, especially on the Az1... Still, a joke is a joke... 😐

Reading Nenkai's tweet, he said the next update would be 'big', he didn't say that this 'big' update would be coming out this month though. So those disappointed that we haven't had silhouettes yet or a notice yet have set themselves up for disappointment.
