I'd have to say they do look as good, It's just as the quality of the rest went up, your mind is playing tricks on you, because in all actuality those cars are as good as prologue, It's just over the 3 years we've had prologue. we think of the premium as the new bar. I really do see a difference tho. and they don't all sound like vacuum cleaners, during that period of time, within those few months, we had noticed huge sound improvements.

The standard Camaro is a SS, and the premium one is a Z/28.

The video of the newer one is me playing the GT5 demo, all cars are premium in the demo, the 1st video are all standards, however like the demo we get many different version of the game, so that standard car video could not be the final way they look. All this new news just makes me resent Sony and PD for delaying it. Its killed my buzz a bit since theres no release date. All this new info would have been straw to break the excitment camels back for me, but now its just another bunch of features im not going to get to use for quite some time.

I'm pretty sure that's changed.

I'm still hoping for a livery editor patch. PD has implied there will be DLC in the game (GT Awards winning car will be featured in GT5), and considering how easy a livery editor would be to make, it's a no-brainer.

Yeah, I'm excited either way, all I know is, prologue cars have around 200k polygons, and supposedly so do the standards. We'll see tho, either way GT5 will be a great product, I'm gonna go take a quick nap, GTplanet over the last few weeks has been like waking up to xmas presents under the tree with news. =D haha

It amazes me how one article has suddenly got people believing something that was previously widely regarded as "not possible in the given time-frame" is now even remotely.

Given how GT is very much like Christmas for us older folks... reading the news on the delay here wasn't so much like finding presents for me, so much as being told Christmas wasn't coming .

Yes they'll look like the cars in the outdoor parts of the PSP intro, The indoor shots are all premiums I think. The pretty dull replay footage in that clip didn't do them any favours.

No, it is confirmed that dynamic weather will be on selected tracks and all course maker created tracks. Don't know about day/night though, but I think that this works for all tracks.

In the standard cars video, the fly by's of the camaro and such don't look all that bad. This is a youtube video though. So not sure what they'll look like on and HDTV. I'm not getting my hopes up, but I drive in hood cam or bumper cam, so it makes little difference to me.
