Now I dont mind the team at ISR at all but gees do you remember the comments they made at E3 2008 about how PC like FM3 handling was.
They were lets say more than enthausistic about it. Also with FM3 cars featuring in their all time favourite "Sim Cars" how then can you say they are anti console?
If anything they seem evident to promote and push who/what companies work closely with them.

The issue some have with that is then reviews/comments/opinions on the show can be seen as biased to such companies wares/products. Hey thats how the system works I guess too, aint it?
You dont bite the hand that feeds you so to speak.
Anti-console didn't express it right but anti-GT5 as a sim. I watch their vids and in comments they immediately put this as a 'fun sim' but with everything that it's got do you think that GT5 is going to be a 'fun sim' of 'sim'? They seem to be more Forza fans, and yes they probably are being biased.

Lets see their long awaited GT5 vs Forza 3 shootout.

I'm personally going to take this 'review' with a pinch of salt, it dosn't seem much more of a review than the gx3 one from a few days ago.
From that 'review' we learned nothing new except that Sony apparently had not handed out any review copies of the game,

And nothing in the PSM3 review leads me to believe that PSM3 have played a finished copy of the game,

They say you CAN stall and snow WILL build up on tracks, but they don't write in a fashion that suggests that they have experienced 1st hand, just what they have been told.

None of the screenshots in the mag appear to be new, which again is highly suspect given the game has a photomode built in,

The loudest alarm bells rang when reading about the standards, we have nearly all seen the standards video released a while back now, those cars were a long, long way off GT5P levels of detail, or was that video an excercise in angering GT fans?!

After that theres nothing new, its all stuff widely available just written in the fasion of a review, most of us here could write a fairly detailed 'review' of GT based on what we have gleaned over the past few years.

Maybe its legit but to me it dosn't read like a review from people who have played the finished game.

Well, I agree that it doesn't sound like they have played it. However, this shouldn't be compared to the fake article written a few days ago. PSM3 may get some things wrong, but they did reveal some new details. Maybe they took some liberty with their wording, I don't know. But this mag has a rep to protect, which makes it different from that "review" a few days ago.

I know GT5P premiums cars has less polys than GT5 premiums cars. The standard car video we saw could also be an old clip, but when I watch it in HD the cars look good IMO. I watch a video from GT5P, and the standard car video the cars look pretty close but the GT5P look better for some reason. Hopefully we get to see a new standard car in action. 👍

It does read a bit like one of those fan written Amazon reviews of a product that hasn't come out yet, I think any new genuine info will have come from their interview, so I wouldn't mind taking a look at that.

Their isnt a chance they have played "Final Code" its obvious as others say no new screenshots. Certain things do not seem to be formed from accurate reports of their own testing/witness accounts of the game, more rather just things we already know.

Chances are they were meant or expected to have been able to do this report from actual finished preview code/disc but with the delay meant that hasnt arrived and their deadline to print would of passed. So they were sitting with 10 pages to fill.

Annother factor I read was their comment that only Nascar models will have the bonnets come up and also have the ability of the rear window smashing. Funny that as we seen last year from TGS the WRC Subaru bonnet lift up and also used on the Nurburgring in a trailer.

PSM3, nice cover up but really its quite evident the people in your department know little of the "actual full game/features or content" and probably get most of their information off these very forums.

5. They say that you choose your favorite 100 cars from GTPSP and transfer those cars. Not every car you have.

I'm thinking - and hoping - that the magazine is incorrect about this... especially with all the talk over the past year or so that Kaz, PD, and Sony have been relaying about transferring all GT PSP/GT5P cars (to the arcade mode).

I hope this isn't the case. You'd think they would have at least enough different drivers licensed in order to keep from having duplicates in full grid (16 car) races.:nervous:

So far, I've only been able to find what appears to be 11 different drivers, though obviously more are always possible.

The ones I have found are:
Hendrick-owned 24, 48, 88
Gibbs-owned 11, 18, 20
Stewart-Haas-owned 14
Ganassi-owned 42
Roush-owned 99
Red Bull-owned 83
Waltrip-owned 55 or 56 NAPA car, can't tell for sure.

Curious is the absence of the Childress 29, 31, and 33 cars, the #2 Penske car, plus the teammates of the already-included drivers, like the 00, 1 (reigning champ of the Daytona 500 and Brickyard 400, the two featured ovals in GT5), 5, 16, 17, 39, and 82 car.

I thought of that possibility many times. One way of doing this is to first change the way we reverse the cars. Instead of using triangle, just use the L2 button to put the car in reverse gear. Leaving the triangle button for the ignition.

I'm a little sceptical about the information of the standard cars. I'm certain they'll look great but nothing like GT5 prologue cars.

Uh, I'm pretty sure they will look better than Prologue cars.

Pure lies:

"Standard cars look more detailled than any car in prologue."

Fail. By that logic the standard cars would look better than premium cars because the cars in prologue are all premium.

Fail, the cars in prologue are premium but they have been even more graphically advanced in the Full GT5. You should think before you post stupid comments like that.:sly:

GT5s Premium car detail

Prologue detail

Looks like GT5 has much more smoother edges in Photomode while Prologue is more square, also depends what car in Prologue. But in the end GT5 car models looks much nicer.

I'm feeling this was kind of a rehash of circulated info without enough fact checking since the "better than gt5p" stuff iis obviously false. Calls into doubt the other juicy details.

I am stunned we have people here who somehow think that standard cars will look better than gt5p...:dunce:

Did you really start a sentence with FAIL?
Anyway, standard cars will not look as good as GT5P cars, their detail is a generation behind, or is it two?
I'm not sure where you're getting your info but we don't need to bring up this STANDARD vs PREMIUM stuff back cause some new kid thinks he knows something.

I do not care how the outside of my car looks when I am racing it. In Prologue, the cars' cockpits look pretty good. In GT5, the standards' cockpits look..... oh, wait. :dunce:

Seeing that most people will use Bumper cam for the Standards, I don't see how this is so great.

So the outside of the Standard cars in GT5 look better in what, Photo Mode? Replays? Joy.

Many people use bumper cam in Prologue. I dont see any problem.
Well wait for GT6. Maybe then they will have almost or even a full GT roster of cars with cockpit view.

Also why not Standard? Without them game would only have 300-400 Premium cars. Now we have 1000, with new physics engine. I can wait for GT6 on PS4 and 1100 cars with cockpits.

I'm pretty sure when they say "car", they are being driver specific. A different livery does not make it a different car.

Driver specific livery in Toyotas, driver specific Fords, driver specific Chevys. NASCAR is a spec series so the chassis, engine, body, suspension are pretty much the same so whom ever they can get a licensing deal with will be in the game plus a few variasions of livery from PD too I'm sure like a black concept NASCAR with just the GT logo on it.

GT5 will keep us buisy for 3 years. By 2012 there will be PS4 or very early 2015. Long time to go. Also there is no need for GT6 with current PS3, it would be pretty much same game just more stuff, we need a new PS4 console so it has more power for better gaming experience, more cars, more realistic weathers, etc etc.

No one will buy it on the first day man, it will cost a thousand dollars!!!

^^^^ I will, I payed £550 for my ps3 the day it came out, me and my 12 year old brother saved up for two years to get £450 and then my Dad gave us £100 on top.
