So the works subaru at spa will probably be my hardest challenge, not very good with aue rogue turn. But i'm fine with the rest of the track and the car is one of my better suits. I'll have to mess with the gearing mostly because of the long straights.

The Escort is fairly easy for the horse thief mile. Tight turns suit the car thanks to it's short wheelbase. Acceleration through the turns is the tricky part.

The R34 is a car that drives like it's on rails. The London Mile isn't too bad of a course either... all in all I think i should fair quite well, save for mistakes.

Still using the Workz Cosworth w/ just a gearing change, this car was made for the Horse Thief Mile

I'm sorry if I deceived someone with the lap times I've posted about the Cosworth race.Because I forgot to buy the Works upgrade in my Ford and only tonight racing with Jay and Hog I've realized that:dunce:
It was already noticeable from the tune I've posted(already edited) because I wrote that the brake duck opening was not available when after the works upgrade it is...

Sorry for that guys:nervous:

This was my best lap after a 10 lap race against the A.I since no one seems to be online tonight:indiff:

Sorry about the quality but it was taken with my cell...

I managed a 1:00.7xx and that's about as fast as i could go with the current tune I have. That track is so tight and winding, it's hard to get it right, I'm going to get more practice though. What about lap times for SPA with the Works Subaru? Anyone? I'm hitting 2:28.xxx and London with R34 works i'm doing 1:27.xxx.

I should improve with some more tuning, hope this race goes well

Well chapz today is the day of reflection and I have to say that other than that London track I had a blast. Spa is such a challenge for consistency while my battle with THE—HOG was totally cerebral, and I had a brain fart. Mo was gone, Arv was a machine, Hog is consistent and I was the gambler, lol. London was my Helen Keller experience, the colors on that track just kill me I was blind most of the race and my regular TV just can’t separate the graphics enough for me so I was just seeing RED. The Horse Thief Mile was the recharge I was looking for though, I think I was laughing myself silly every time I came around and busted Hog hiding in some spot filming the race. That was one the funnies things I think ever saw, Hog you are amazing the way you could find a little hole, and flip that car around and then plug into it for a different scene for the next lap. It was just the medicine I needed after the nightmare at London. Shark you were like Chinese water torture, I thought I would never get away from you, and Arv what can I say you just checked out. I think I started last that race and just ran out of time.

Thanks lefty unfortunately i only got a little but of the first two races.

The impressa race was wicked i had a hell of a fight on my hands attacking arvore and defending against lefty pressure on both fronts, it was a challenging race that i thoroughly enjoyed well done guys.

The R34 race was going well me and jay were pushing hard but then i heard the bleeping sound coming from behind me from my camcorder which meant it had stopped recording yet again so after that i was really 🤬 and couldn't concentrate so i decided to chill out and not push so hard so i made less mistakes.

The cosworth race was never going to be a good race for me at all due to my G25 having a spiking accelerator pedal so it means i am on full throttle or or off full throttle there is no holding it at certain rpm's its not to bad on other track but tight tracks are a nightmare.
But 1st lap i got took out and span off track dont know by who and they didnt stop so i just decided to be the film man for that race.

It was hard as hell to move round such a tight and small track and get my car into posiotion to film the shots as you guys were hitting fast lap times but i got some pritty good shots.

I have made the video i included me driving untill i decided to stop and become film man then i have cut out the bits were i was driving into position so its just the action shots i have not watched i yet so i hope its ok.

It is processing as we speak and i will post it as soon and possible.

EDIT video uploaded but picture quality needs time to get better.

My brief review of last night races:

-Spa was a great race no DC's and great battles with Ris8 and Fast1:tup:
Mohamu was unbeatable and even when I got to second position we was able to build on the gap between us.Well done:tup:

-I already new this was ment to be the worst race of the evening for me since in the pratice sessions I was never able to keep a fast and consistent pace in this track. The R-34 I tuned was pretty bouncy and freak out like a basket ball whenever I hitted the curbs:scared: I got 5th place(since Jay and Mohamu were DC before the end of the race):nervous:

-The last race was haunted with connection issues(sorry for Jay and Mohamu again and Javed also was booted at some point):ill:
It was getting pretty late and I was very ansious to leave...I had a little side by side contact with Hog(sorry) Ris8 and Shark had a little "get toghether" and manage to sneak into the lead...only now I saw the total mayhew that happened back there(I was the white car-stock liverie-that is in front of you when you're spun Hog:crazy: ) profited from that luck and this was the tune I felt most confortable with so was able to build on the gap to Lefty and safe drive to the end:)

Due to the all the connection issues and ammount of 1 lap races we have to do to manage to get everybody into the lobby I suggest we begin one hour earlier to manage to end the event at a good time and go throught the process of restarts nicely for everyone 👍

Well what a night. If people know the results of the races this would be great. I have race 1.

Well what a night. If people know the results of the races this would be great. I have race 1.

Tomorrow I'll post vids of the 1st and 2nd races!

(in race2 i get dc in the last lap from 1st place, my best lap was: 1:25:407 if it counts after dc)

I'm still mad at myself for missing it, I felt like I could have challenged for some good positions in these races. The tune I set up for Spa with the scooby was pretty good. A little bouncy loose but turn in was good and stable through the corners. Ahh, next time I know when you guys start and i will be there.

This weeks races (1st and 2nd) Hope You'll enjoy them!
Please notice that they need time to have better quality, for race1 there is an option to watch it in HD
I think I'm ready to turn of the driving line next time, actually I only used it because the break distance, but I think I can learn the track better if i don't use it.

(after race1 my HD cam was full, so race2 video has not as good quality..)
Sound quality is not so good because my neigbour had enough of my Pioneer sound system at 11:00PM... I don't understand why:)

Race1
In Race1 in 1st lap I had a bit too short break distance in the end of the long straight, sorry Jay, it was really close.. and a few corners after this I tought you were total on the sand, but after i saw back i think maybe i had to slow down a bit, i hope i didn't bump you out!
And Lefty, It would be great to see the vid from your view, we had some close situation in lap3, I hope it was not my foult when you were spinning around..
I was a bit sad when Shark had d/c behind me, we could have some good battle at this track, maybe next time mate! Actually I had luck with this, I'm sure you could beat me at SPA (as this is your "home-track") if you hadn't got connection problem...

Part5

Race2
In Race2 I have bumped Arvore in the 1st corner, I'm glad that you could avoid spinning around (i think it depended only on your good skills..👍
And I had some contact with The-Fast1, sorry man, during the race i tought it was a clear movement..

After watching your video and looking at my video it's hard to blame you because I was at the edge of the track and you lost sight of me, I was in what I call the dead zone, and it happend to be at the last part of the turn pre straight away. When another car drops off the monitor and isn't visable in the mirror of the the person who is trying to pass them, it is important to impress to everyone that both cars are probibly right next to each other, and if possible try to allow for that car to be detected in one of the two broadcast areas, if you are in a situation whare lateral drifting occurs. When I find my self in that condition I try to freze my line and bicycle the throtle so both cars can drag race down the straight. It's not just something that I force myself to do online but also in real life when I'm racing against real cars because in real life you can cut down a tire and we all know how that works out.
Also if when someone is trying to pass the leader and there is the majority of the race left to complete maybe just a little extra consideration because in that situation there was still 12 laps left and you only had one guy left to pass, we might of had a great battle and swaped the lead several times.

You're absolutly right man!
I'll try to drive like you wrote.
I always learn a bit from you guys! I'm open for every kind of criticism, I can learn from them, so I ask you guys to tell me your opinion every time if I handl situations on wrong way!
Sorry once more Lefty, I think the correct way is if I ask Mr. president to not count my points for this race!
I think the same is true for the 2nd race where i made the almost same mistake on HOG!
I have to calm down in these situations, mostly if i feel myself much faster, because if I am faster, I'll have an other possibility to get over the other driver ...

No way Mo you get the points for that race, it was a situation that can happen and yes you were Fn fast but I was strugling at that point and was a little lose and was holding you up. It just happend to be when I lost you in my mirror and couldn't find you to try to trim the car that you went aroud me and caught my front end. Thatz racin........Lefty

nice videos muhamu.

As for what you have said its all irrelevant you can be the best driver on this planet but if you dont know the style of the driver you are attacking well all those skills will not go far, the truth of the matter is you can learn all the skills you like but the one skill that will help you the most is the skill of totally knowing and totally understanding the other drivers driving style and to do that you need to watch them get up close with them study them watch how they like to take corners work out there style so can the learn to change your driving style in different ways for different drivers.

For example one driver may like to get his back end out in corners then in this case you want to change your style of driving and keep the car stable and attack on the inside line.

But if you have a driver that likes to be precise in his driving using the momentum of the car to power through corners you can alter you style again to get the back o#end out and attack from the outside.

Simple fact of the matter is mate the longer you race with us all the better you be at racing us, every time we get on track we learn somthing new from each other.

This case is classic to me and jays racing styles we both race so much together that we have learned each others driving style and know how to deal with each other and sure yea we have our accidents with each other but if i think back i remember races were we have been side by side round 4 or 5 corners with no contact, drag racing side by side down straights to the very last second then on the breaks and tucking behind one another for the corner in fact we do that quite regularly lol.

Wise words from thefast1 and it's true, You never stop learning from each other.
And yes me and hog have had some great races and know each others style, We can race side by side keeping wide or tight on turns depending on our position, Or trading positions on each corner by adjusting our lines. But one thing we do do is back back off and tuck in behind each other where driving like this is not possible. There will always be other sections you can try again.
Working out your pray is a must and many know I'd chase people for many laps to find where I'm quicker to make a move.
In race 1 at the weekend me and sham were really close for most the race and I tried to race like me and hog but It didn't work. One bit of advice I will give is If you want side by side action remember you can't use the average racing line you have too adjust speed and position to give the guy next to you room and yes you may lose a position but you may have a better line for the next turn to pull it back.

As my signature says the chase is better than the race.

Even wiser words from our president there, hey guys has any one bin hitting the green hell in the CCX yet and if so any one want to share there times ???.
I am hitting 6 53.somthing to 6.55.somthing on an average.

Thanks guys for the tips!

I'll try to change my driving style in this way.
As I see, there are only 2 important things, I have to stay in my mind, then all the the things you've said will be easy to do. This 2 thing are to try think with cold head all the time (it is the hardest when adrenalin goes over in my brain when i'm in a race for position), and to spend more time racing with you, to learn the different driving styles. I knew what you are talking about in this case. I spent a lot time racing with Shark, and i already know what style he has, where I need to be more carefull, but I still make mistakes..
Practice makes perfect I hope:)
And thanks for your patience guys.

Else: Have you guys made a photo of the results? My camera stopped before I could see them at Spa, and at London I couldn't make a screenshot of it because i was dropped out just 15 sec before the end of the run..

Edit: I've just seen that my video of spa contains the results, so I've posted it!

i've done about 7:05? with the ccx in practice. I just tried to tune it to have a long top gear so there isn't so much power around the highest speed parts of the track. Like the first straight aways. If i tuned it a little better i'm sure acceleration would be better. Maybe i can shave some time off. It's rather easy to drive, but when you go wrong, all things come to a halt.

I've not tried the ring combo, but I saw on the Nordschleife Stock Challange threat that someone hit 6:44:xxx... I can't imagine that i can go under 7:00...

Else: the results for SPA:

Nio point in trying to tune It as It's a stock car race. So get used too standard settings.

I have never got a cramp in my foot before by not pushing down on the throttle until I drove that gd CCX on the Ring. My driving style is shift to go faster because my foot is burried in the throttle the whole time, but not with this thing. That car reminds me of how early 70 dirt bikes were, no suspension and a ton of power. I feel like i'm driving a delivery truck that has the most powerful pipy 2 stroke you never wanted that you could barly hold on to. I'm just breaking 7 min but I have the muzzle on the whole time, what an evil car at least for that track. Note the terror on my face in my Avitar....lol....

PS. WAKE UP FRESH AND READ THE POSTING FOR THE RACES, WOW.......LOL

You can see why when you pull it apart - the scariest superchargers in the game (veyron beats it for raw power but they're slower and attached to something ~680kilos heavier), very little downforce per wing setting, insanely powerful engine, street legal tyres. You really, really want to be certain about where you're going when you push down on the pedals.
