Yes, me too and I didn't have problems with the previous updates. Lets hope they don't require the US version to download any updates, otherwise we won't get it for days.

I'm in the same boat, as I've tried multiple times this morning (JPN version in US) and am getting an error almost immediately with no progress showing on the status bar. This looks to be different than the errors which occurred on prior updates.

Has anyone playing a version outside of their region had a successful update?

The Tuned Elise now has more PP. With max weight and R3's it gets 651 PP. You cannot decrease the BHP. So to get under 650PP you have to run on R2's. I don't remember it beign like this so it definetly has changed.

Expert races are now 700pp.

Nooo, my Ferrari 512BB with a total of 644PP was perfect for the 650PP races. I loved the car so much I bought 3 of them.

Once it hooked up it only took a minute to D/L.

Everything gets set back to default.

So you have to redo your options ie: BGM volume etc.

All the course records in Arcade are still there though, as are the replays

I did, Japanese PS3, Japanese game, from mainland Europe, using 2,3 Mbps Wi-Fi. 30 attempts.

They never mentioned that the cars understeer a lot less in standard handling now. I like the standard mode a lot more now. The F40 and F599 doesnt feel like the QE2 any more.

HSR 700pp truck load of 111rs.........took out the tuned evo IV..........yep I smoked half of them LOL they seem to be confused though as I was getting bounced all over the place by them LOL Some things never change eh? idownloaded everything(also firmwere update for ps3..)in one go and within 15 minutes...so it is possible...maybe its just luck..

look at all the other entries here and you know you just had luck mate the average number of failed downloads is around 10 i think

Aerodynamic adjustments also affect it. Have to try it out tonight :-)
