Hello all... I have just discovered (OK, remembered) that I will be at the Ponthir motorbike show all weekend so I have less than two hours to get under a minute around Tsukuba in a new car! God I wish I was more organised 
mate, I'm flattered! I may be good in a straight line but not that fast through the corners 
I didn't think the PaceCar was that fast...
I don't have one anyway so I'll try for that with my Amuse right... NOW!

Wahey... I took out my Amuse just now, and after one and a half hours of practice and tinkering, with no turbo (512bhp) and R5 (qualifying) tyres I hit a time of 59.810 seconds 
At one point I was stuck at 1'00.131 but then I shaved it down to 1'00.037 
, and two laps later I was under a minute... I caned my old time too! I was amazed.

Well... That is most definitely it! It's 0650 here now, and as the closing time works from GMT it's safe to say that this (great fun to do, by the way) challenge is over.

Maybe I'll come up with the next (considerably cheaper) challenge... We could operate a 'winner-sets-next' basis. I'll have a think, but I'll have a job to top the ingenious idea of overpowered cars in the wet on a tiny track

What I have in mind is this - We take a JGTC-class Skyline to Fuji Speedway 90's with all parts totally stock and run infinite practice laps in Free Run Mode and post our best times for one lap.
Opinions, people? This is not the official start of the challenge yet we need to see if we can all afford to run it!

Sounds good. I'll give it a shot after getting some money to buy that Skyline. Oh, and I have atleast 4 6.2 mile Skyline GT-R's in my garage, tuned up and ready to run.. going to make cross-gen comparison of fully tuned GT-R's, and R32 is my fav for this one thanks to it's light weight... and I also have few RWD skylines waiting for proper tail-out action.
and I recently aquired Skyline GT-R tokyo concept. Do I imagine or is this thing fast or something? I just hope that the front would look more like Skyline and not like 350Z..

Leo, I too am going off the the used car garage every RL week or so to see what's hot on the Skyline front... I like the 33s the most because of the blend between the advanced technology of the 34s and the lightweight body of the 32s... and they look sweet

Lack of postings due to absolute rubbish connection at the moment.
With regards to your previous posting minus 1 , i will try and grammatise all of my postings correctly.
I have the PENZIOL (yellow) JGTC SKYLINE now.
I am trying to build up my cash reserves now,after the BLACK BEAUTIES came along,and i could only buy the two from the early 90's selection and not the MONSTERS from the late 90's. Shame
Anyways, that sounds like a bloody good challenge, and to tell the truth i have been practicing there for two weeks now, (only on drifting) so i might have a slight advantage.
Speaking of drifting i have collected nearly every SKYLINE now, and the best one for drifting is the old R33 Vspec '94.
As DE. has already said, my favourite too.

yes, i got that one, but i prefer my 6.2 mi Skyline GT-R 32 Vspec II '94, because it's lighter and has 795 bhp instead of 794 bhp..
too bad, that Skyline's aerodynamics are so brick-like thru all gens.. otherwise it could be one participant when going towards 300 mph.. - Status
