I agree with you there leon, the aerodynamics are basically the worst shape, anyone could have designed for smooth trajectories . But it sure does make up for it in outright power.
Can't check my garage at the mo (20Hrs into the nur 24Hr) but there are two SKYLINES i don't think many will have;
The NISMO GTR (I think it was the N Tune or similar, can't check yet). and the mental drift capabilities of the 400R (lovely )

I have the 400R somewhere, but I've never driven it. Maybe we should use that in a future competition, I hadn't thought of it. I also have Nismo's 270R but... What good's that here?

Try this for obscure, R32 GT-s '88 Vspec... Bet nobody else has one of those! Mine happens to have 37,000 miles on it, be maroon red and be my drift car

Leo, give it an oil change and an original turbo, now my R33 has 801bhp

I dont have any of the R32's (yet).
i'm gonna catch ( ?? lol) a few of them sooner or later.

the oldest SKYLINE i have is the 2000GT-B (S54A) '67,
and i also have the 2000GT-r (KPGC10) '70.
Also acquired the LM edition late last night.

so far i have 20 different models parked in my garage.
I hear (on the grapevine) that there is around fifty or so models to "COLLECT".

the 270R is a bit of a handfull on full spec. 528 of those ponies putting in the hoofs to two rear wheels. Trying (i say trying, ..... I mean failing) to get some sort of drift setup for it. Prob too much power going through tho.

Yep, the oldest Skyline I have is the 2000GT-B from '67 too there isn't anything older as far as I know... I heard 55 different varieties of Skyline

Not as much as a handful as the Amuse with a Turbo 3 and no TCS
Maybe take off some of the power merchant parts, but leave on racing muffler etc. then fiddle with the chassis and see what happens!

I haven't managed to get the car yet, I will probably take my Falcon in the end because I'm too poor I don't expect to win with it...

my SKYLINE has got an oil-change an R3's....... but the falcon is also not bad - especially the look of it with the great rear-spoiler and the big noisy exhaust *gg*

Oh the Falken looks lovely, and sounds the same but I'm slightly deterred from using it by the fact that I got it for 600,000cr. odd... Surely it's not in the same league as the million-plus? Maybe. I'll give it R5 tyres and Stage 3 turbo and tinker with the settings and see what happens with it
EDIT - I just remembered it's not a JGTC car off to the DTM to raise 1,250,000cr. I go...

Everyone else, where are you! The closing date is Monday, you'd better get some practice in (myself included)!

Anyhoo, I bought the Nissan Xanavi NISMO GT-R (JGTC) of 2003 and took it to Fuji 90's, with R5 tyres and nothing else. After some fiddling with the chassis and spoilers I came up with a 1'19.375. Nothing special, but I'm not sure I can top it myself.

Just having some drift practice in the best drift car Ever FOUND.... the nissan 200sx '96. good for small low speed drifts as standard but mop itto the max (only 250BHP) and it really does the sideways justice to the tracks.

i just been looking in the Legendary Cars and the oldest is a '62 skyline Sport Coupe (BLRA-3)......wait for it .................it cost a whooping 320,000 credits !!!WHAT????!!!!

Hey that's funny, I saw that Skyline of '62 today as well... Same thoughts there's actually one older than it if i recall correctly but you can't buy it. The 320K Skyline Sport has possibly the dodgiest headlights ever, by the way.

I just improved my time at Fuji to 1'17.738, there's some room for maybe a second faster. I'm closing fast in your rear view mirror smuttney I just need to slip by when the time is right!

the thing is, I'm going out to a party now and I'll be back late and I'm going out at 9am (GMT) tomorrow as well so I will maybe get 20 minutes tomorrow morning to improve but that's all... I'm gonna have to think about my settings and lines!

As for the other two wingmen (well we are a 'Squadron' ), Leonidae has been busy with his 6.2mi Supra and the 300mph club, trying to bring the two together, and after months he's done it at last! 👍👍 to him.
Nissan_Skyline_ has been on vacation (note - let us know when you're going away so we're not chasing you up across the globe ) but says he'll get a time up by the deadline... He'd better not knock me to third I don't want my win at Tsukuba to look like luck!

I'm going to try to improve at Fuji now, as it happens.

My Tsukuba time was a fluke, huh? So I suppose coming within three tenths of you here as well is a second fluke? I ran a 1'16.137 late last night I know it's not as fast as you and I also know it's not the best I can do, but it is damn close!

I'm quite pleased really that you beat me. I'm not saying that I didn't try, I really really really did but you beat me anyway because I couldn't get there before the deadline
Makes me feel good about the team I've put together, you beat me from time to time so I can't complain!
I haven't got a photo yet because I haven't got time, but I'll take a shot of the Fuji 90's leaderboard with the time, and it's date, on it 👍

Oh yeah 'bout my quote box it's nice to know that that much value is put on what I laugh at that deserved to go there!
