With no date...I have to begin to question how authentic the stamping of discs comment is.
I was thinking this week though. Hopefully thursday or friday. If we don't get something this week then I dunno what to think anymore. For now i'm just assuming December 7th.

There was an article on N4G yesterday,cant remember what site.They asked Kaz if we'll play GT5 before Christmas,Kaz apparently said 'maybe' .I was worried at the time..Im more worried now.

You know the awards started only about an hour and a half ago? Give it time...I know everyone wants everything now now now these days, but the reality of it is that it's not going to happen like that when it comes to GT. And if it wasn't announced at the awards ceremony, which we still don't know for sure or not, then they still have the rest of the show to make an announcement as they wish. I would expect one sometime next week IF we don't get one by the end of this week.
Edit: For the record, yes I too am running low on my patience tank. But what the heck can we do about it? Nothing. Just fill it back up and hopefully it doesn't run out of gas before it's released.

I'm guessing they're just being careful. Even with the production started, they can never be ******re. Another slip and their reputation's down that much more.

Going gold is something no one has ever lied about that I recall. There's no reason to lie about that anyway. If a game is gone gold it's gone gold.

A little update, he has been talking to Kaz and groupe and has some info, but he has to keep it hush untill Thursday. One thing I do know is that they were going to announce the date at the awards show, but are holding off for a day or 2.

I don't see it happening for GT5 though. Besides, would you really want it to release on Black Friday and have to put up with the huge lines and flood of people at the malls and such? Your only chance of getting the game and keeping your sanity would be to order it on Amazon.
Thats what I did, but I would feel bad for anyone who didn't go this route and tried to buy it on black friday.

I'm guessing it'll be about November 30th? November 23rd would also be a great date for them as well.
Also, reading that thread you posted. The post about the starter car got me wondering... Are they playing with the full game at SEMA?
