The main issue people have with the new Supra is that it looks more like a badly modified GT86 compared to the low and sleek FT-1 concept.

I think i am the only guy that finds FT-1 somewhat ugly. Production Supra is much more refined in terms of looks

Hopefully PD will add more new modern cars in the future

I wonder why a Shelby GT350R or ZL11LE would not be included at some point? Even an 04' Z06 at least. It is perplexing to me.

Ok, so we have four cars that are irelevant to the meta of the game, one car that will be out of place anywhere it gets put, an entire month missed (no February update), and 80% of the slim content is coming from the previous game.

Not to mention this small update comes off the previous update which added a pretty useless track and more cars which didn’t contribute to the meta game either.

I’d normally say stop whining because it’s free, but I think people have some very valid reasons to be disappointed by this one.
Why do cars have to be “relevant to the meta” to be added to the game. There’s already a huge number of Gr.3 and Gr.4 Cars that are competitive, and pretty much every N class has its own OP car anyway, so why is it bad when PD add cars that are simply fun to drive?

Heard nothing. I‘m not asking, too, I listen if they want to share something, but since all this stuff is very internal I don’t press and dig.

I‘ll let Y‘all know if I hear something.

Any clues on what the track might be?

Y

you might never use it. But that dosen't mean everyone thinks the same thing.
True, but even if I were a fan of the car I'd still be unhappy that (with one glorious exception) there are only cars from 2016 and before in the game and instead of adding newer ones via updates, they keep adding old and recycled stuff.

I couldn't care less about whether those updates are free or not. I'd happily pay for an expensive dlc if it contained cars that are actually new and/or more race cars.

I think the F1 GTR will be put into Gr.2 if anyone remembers back to Grid: Autosport where this exact Ueno Clinic car was racing against the HSV-010s and GT-Rs.

Still not ideal, but I think it’s better than the F1 becoming the dominant car in Gr.3, or getting destroyed in Gr.1. Also better than being forgotten in Gr.X. There really is no ideal way to add the F1 just down to the way this game is structured.

THANK YOU for sharing my exact thoughts on this update

My theory was that the new Supra would come to GTS quickly after being announced but i didn't think it would arrive this quickly.
I felt PD are late. THought it would come out during the debut in North America.

The Supra is N300. It has 335hp. 344-345hp starts N400.

EDit: The worse part of this update is, no OFFICIAL Sunburst yellow for the MX-5.

Well in a reality, i'm more interested in the SLR McLaren, i want to drive it around the Green Hell zone.
I am not a huayra fan so unless they give me a LM Zonda, i'll pass haha.

I am thinking they're just going to put in a single update the up to date gt3 cars (2018\2019) so they don't look like a mess. Kaz did say he wanted\ is gonna put them in the future.
STILL NO CHAPARRAL 2D or 2J >:(

>iRacing gets the M8 GTE
>PD decides to give us the ****ing Miata, SLR McLaren and another McLaren F1

Phenomenal car choice as always PD, thank christ the Supra is at least in this.

I think, it isn't a bad car choice cause it has variety and some cool cars. But I agree, that new Gr. 3/Gr. 4 cars would be appropriate.

The irony of your post, given that you're called 'GTFan'.

Why not? As a fan it is also normal to criticize.

Because a fan Favorite since the first GT, a GT1 Race Car, 2 hypercars and a sports car that hasn’t even started production yet are bad cars.

True, but imo it is slowly enough with road cars. Game is called "SPORT" for a reason but for some reason there are still some important GT3 and GT4 cars not in the game. Road cars are great for a "normal" GT but this should have an focus on real racing.

I dont care about the cars, what track are we getting? (if we are getting one)

I’m simultaneously disappointed at the amount of cars we got, and delighted at the selection of said cars in the update. It’s not often I want to get every car that comes in an update.

Jimmy Broadbent's car finally arrived in GT Sport

Didn't know Jimmy owned a Pagani Huayra. Lucky chap

Exactly my thoughts about this update. Not as many cars as we used to get normally in the previous updates, but all cars are must buy for me.

I hope the track delivers
