How awesome! My team has still not managed to score an offensive TD this pre-season.

Sounds like my Madden 08 franchise. That's what I get when the fight for starting qb is between Trent Edwards and Troy Smith , granted my defense puts up 2 tds a game. But in all seriousness, if the Redskins and Jets face each other this season, Washington might actually win for once!

Good thing we don't face you again until 2015. At that point we will have an offense but our defense will be a glass wall.

Tony Meatball Sparano.

Exactly! Why did we waste our time on him? Probably the same reason we added Tebow, who actually CANNOT throw the ball. Need to give him a shock collar so he doesn't hold onto the ball too long and get himself sacked.

This is going to be a tough week for all the teams. Roster cuts will have to be made. Some will be starters on opening weekend. Some may make the 2nd and 3rd string units. Some may join the practice squad. And some others... may go to other teams or may not even play NFL action this season.

Plenty of players will be going to plenty of places. Who's staying? Who's going? There is about one more game for all the teams in determining who all will play on Week 1. For my Texans, the Vikings come down to H-Town on Thursday night for our final Preseason match.

The Redskins just released TE Chris Cooley. Any team(s) in need of a Tight End?

They were thinking of playing Cooley at fullback, never really panned out. Fred Davis is faster and better, Logan Paulsen is good too, there was no spot for him really. @Blitz24, Jets need a QB too .

Actually Sanchez is NOT THAT bad. Only 4 QBs had more TDs than he did in their age 25 season (he did have 32). The problem is that the coaches/front office have ADHD.

Dolphins are in total rebuilding mode lol. Philbin is not even renovating-- he's knocking down the roof and everything. Rumors are that Ireland is going to go on a trading spree. Vontae was already shipped off to the Colts and now there are rumors of Bush to the Lions. Dansby's dumb ass isn't helping his cause with his big dumb mouth, and now Jake Long has a tweaked MCL. Someone push the button already.

Also, Blitz, there is nothing worse than drunk Gator Jets fans. Two weeks ago at the bar we had this total loser Jets fan with a UF 90s frat tank top shouting across the entire establishment "YOU SUCK SANCHEZ!" "YOU'RE AN ASSHOLE SANCHEZ!" and cursing. Obnoxious.

Sanchez has still done more than Tebow has done in the NFL.... There might be worse than that though, drunk Eagle fans .

My Texans will host the Vikings tonight in their final Preseason match. I'll have to see who all the Texans will hold onto in preparation for Week 1. I know we let go of a number of Texans earlier this week.

Going on Twitter, the Twitter feed for the ESPN AFC South has this as the predicted finishing order for the AFC South:

Texans (1st), Titans (2nd), Jaguars (3rd), Colts (4th)

The Titans are always a tough out. Playing against the Jaguars is always an interesting match. Texans/Jaguars is usually seen as a mirror match. The real strange factor is how the Colts will play with Andrew Luck (who I didn't know is one of my fellow Houston boys).

I probably won't see this Preseason game, but I do want the Texans to get their final tune-up before the real fun begins on Week 1.

I'm going to the Steelers Pre-Season game tonight. Leaving in about a half an hour. :D

The Jets scored a touchdown tonight, with their 3rd string qb. Can't wait for SportsCenter to spend an hour talking about the Jets .

Who has a better arm than their first or 2nd string QB. This is the reason they will finish no higher than 6-10.

Why do you watch that? :yuck:

Whenever I feel insane, I put on SportsCenter and suddenly feel not insane. It's kind of like when you change the channel to Fox News . No, I watch TSN, our SportsCenter isn't that bad. I was sympathizing for american football fans (like you) who have to put up with, well, that 🤬. To keep on topic, I was impressed with the Redskins preseason. RG3 stayed healthy, played solid. Kirk Cousins showed that he is an accurate passer, if RG3 gets bit by the injury bug, we have a guy that can start. And Rex Grossman showed that without the pressure of starting he can perform, he played well as a backup off the bench, despite 55,000 Redskins fans booing him when he went on the field .

Thank god it wasn't Tebow who threw it. SportsCenter would be re-playing it for the next week.

The Texans finish 3-1 on the Preseason with a 28-24 victory over Minnesota. The games that don't mean anything are finally over. We'll just happily wait until Week 1 while also getting rid of a few Texan players so our 53 men roster.

Sadly, this was bittersweet as one Texans fan fell and died. My thoughts and prayers go out to that one fan.

Elsewhere (among other games)...

* It was 24-14 as Jacksonville took down Atlanta in Jacksonville. The Dirty Birds got cleaned up by the Jags

* This would be a regular season upset. Rams won 31-17 over the Baltimore Ravens. St. Louis gave the Ravens a little Midwestern hospitality.

When Week 1 hits, we're all undefeated again. Make the playoffs. Win some postseason games. Go to the Super Bowl. Win yourself the Lombardi Trophy. When Week 1 comes around, it's time to get it on once again. Good luck to your team(s) this 2012 season.

Redskins kept Kick Returner / Wide Receiver Brandon Banks on the 53-man roster, and cut Runningback Tim Hightower. Hightower's 2011 campaign was cut short by an injury. With Roy Helu and Alfred Morris, not to mention Evan Royster (who rushed for 100 yards in one of his starts last year), we have depth at runningback. The Redskins are also trading Wide Receiver Anthony Armstrong to the Miami Dolphins for Runningback Steve Slaton. There you go Omnis, Tannehill has a solid wide receiver to throw to that isn't Brandon Marshall.

It was 24-17 as the Dallas Cowboys went into The Meadowlands and took down the New York Giants. That's how the new season gets underway. MANY more games this Sunday followed by the two Monday Night matches.

This just in Tebow was spotted eating a hot dog with Mark Sanchez.

Tebow Tebow Tebow Tebow.

I made two predictions with my dad:

Steelers will go 11-5, Redskins 8-8. Sound good?
