Not so good for whoever has Cam as theirs.

Sidenote: Barden is having a monster game.

Steve Smith outscored Cam Newton in fantasy points this week.

Wow- 36-7, New York Giants. Talk about not showing up! They failed about as bad in this game as the other cats in Charlotte- the Charlotte Bobcats. What a giant rout for the N.Y. Giants.

Now on to my Texans. This stretch of five games is going to tell a whole lot about this year's team. The madness begins at Denver on Sunday. As much as I love the Texans, I'm a bit nervous seeing how this team will perform against the tough opposition coming our way. Never have I predicted how far my Texans will go. Many of us are already thinking "Texans to the Super Bowl." I'd love to see the Texans go all the way. However, you got to do great in the regular season followed by winning in the postseason. I'm more like "wait and see" rather than "we're going all the way!".

Good luck to all of your team(s) this weekend.

Texans will definitely make the playoffs in my eyes. Jags off the pace and Titans and Colts a bit hit and miss, they're favourites in their division for me.

I can't wait to see Bears against the Hawks and Redskins take on the Bengals. Four teams I'd love to see make the playoffs given their rosters this season.

A lot of people have been picking the Texans as possible AFC Champs before the season began. They looked strong on paper before the games started and now it's starting to show on game tape.

Yeah and Texan fans really shouldn't be frightened about their next five games as they have really been true class this season. 17 points conceded this season which is solid as a rock in defense. Schaub is peaking. I think Texans definitely can take this title. They look the real deal. With a lot of the other franchises, you can pick holes and find a degree of weakness. In the Texans, I see everything but weakness.

This is coming from a loyal Jags fan. :)

In other news, Justin Tucker for the Ravens has really been superb for Baltimore in my honest opinion. Drafted as a free agent, he's been sensational. What's more? He's from Houston. :P

Holy **** Panthers got wiped.

As a Steeler fan Pats@Ravens is my focus this week...

Well... thanks for the Texans love! :) The kind of team I'm seeing right now is the team I've always seen in since the very first game. Of course, it wasn't like I was expecting the 2002 Houston Texans (who finished 4-12) to make the playoffs. "Yeah, we beat Dallas! We're going to the Super Bowl!" Sadly- that's the ONLY time we've beaten "America's Team" in the regular season.

Now on to another issue. The NFL has warned teams and players and other personnel about ripping the replacement referees. What do you make of this warning?

I think its basically trying to cover themselves because they want to make it clear that the replacement refs are here to stay. Also, it weakens their leverage in their dispute with the regular refs. Honestly the regular refs are needed ASAP.

Best of luck to all of your teams this weekend. Tonight's match is a sweet AFC matchup: the Patriots at the Ravens. CBS around here is going to show Bengals at Redskins. I've been a fan of RG3 since his Baylor days, so I'll be interested how the Baylor Bear does under center for this match.

Feel like I'm watching a team that's even more of a joke than they let on. They will be lucky to even win 8 games this year with this pathetic showing and Revis likely done for the year.

Anyone else think Dolphins K Dan Carpenter looks like Kid Rock? =P

Poor Dawfreenz, thats about the only time icing the kicker will hurt you...

Hahaha, 'Skins fans got cocky and payed for it. Bengals have been good for two years now.

I was impressed with RG3 and how he handled this game. It was crazy seeing the very first play of the game. Home run ball thrown by Cincinnati straight to the house for about 73 yards. The whole game was silly, to be honest. But... it was CIN who won over WAS. The 'Skins fell to 1-2 while Cincy goes to 2-1.

As of this post, it is 31-11, Texans in Denver. We unfortunately fumbled. So Denver drives with 10:20 left in the game on the HOU 49-yard line.

[UPDATE] Now it's 31-18, Texans. Quick TD pass from Peyton Manning. 9:49 left in the game.

Well, it's a win but we can't ride our luck like that all year. Was Miami's game to win.

Its gonna be a problem for this team. I'm afraid Revis is going to be out awhile.

We'll take it. A score of 31-25 was what the scoreboard said as the Texans moved to 3-0 for the first time in franchise history. So the first test in this five-game set was passed by the Texans. Up next, the artists formerly known as the Houston Oilers come to H-Town. It's the good old TNT (Texans n' Titans) rivalry- Titans at Texans next Sunday here in Houston!

Congratulations to all other winners, including the eventual winner of tonight's NE at BAL game.

Lions-Titans match is definitely the game of the season. It had everything: high scores, terrible refs, wonky play calling, play fakes, and a back-up almost delivering.

For the Bears-Rams game, the Bears offense was just awful, but not as bad as the Rams though. The defense, as it is normal in club history, bailed out the team again. Tim Jennings = beast mode. Bears front line mauled the Rams pretty much all day.

O-line needs work, and if they can't cut it this season, then Emery should use drafts or trades to get new faces on that line. Or hire a new O-line coach.

So who lost that should have won this week? (Apparently).
Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington, New Orleans, Detroit. We could see a few more.

Forgot about the 49ers. Yeah that was pathetic too. The remaining games don't really have upset material this week.
